- Review: We never had to use their service. It was easy to start but a big pain to cancel. We cancelled at the beginning of the month and were still charged for the next months amount. They said it could take up to a month to cancel on their end. Two minutes to sign up but 30 days to cancel. I will never use them again and will be making sure contacts in Real Estate know how they do business and not to use them. I have disputed the charge and we will see what comes of all this. BAD BAD BAD. Find another company or do yourself a favor and put the same amount away into a savings account in stead you will be better off in the long run.

- Review: I just filed my first claim and I had a very good experience. I submitted the claim online on a Sunday evening and shortly thereafter I received an email confirmation and the name of the repair company assigned to me. The next day I received a call to schedule an appointment, and the following day the repair of my dryer was complete. The repair technicians (Aldo Appliance Service & Repair) were professional, friendly, and helpful and I highly recommend them. Overall this has been a very pleasant experience.

- Review: We hesitated covering our new home with a warranty because it was under 10 years old when we moved in the summer of 2008. Well, this warranty saved us the price of a new furnace this week! (We've also replaced the garbage disposal and the kitchen faucet. There is value to a home warranty. People need to read the guidelines and know what they are getting into with each repair so they don't have surprises! For us, we had this same company in the Seattle area and there too we had very good service!!

- Review: We have had two repair calls to AHS. The first, a 2nd floor bathtub that leaked in to the kitchen below, was fixed quickly and well enough. The second, a furnace that stopped working when the outside temp was below zero, had a repairman out quickly, but the repairman was told by AHS that coverage of the cost of repairs was denied because of faulty installation of the furnace. As we bought the home new, and it had passed all inspections, we strongly argued that this was nonsense. But AHS held firm and I had to pay the full cost of repairs.

- Review: This is a GREAT company. Anytime I have a problem with anything in my house they are quick and responsive and polite and very knowledgeable. In a rating of 0 to 10, I would give this company (and employees) a 12.5 (at the minimum). I have had the Excel warranty plan and Blue Ribbon beats them like a racing horse running against a dead mule.... Again a GREAT organization from top to bottom. Mark Tabacheck

- Review: I've used BR for many years now, service was previously excellent with other subcontractors. However, I had water and sewage in my basement, called BR and their technician called back immediately - great. However, the plumber did not come out and 3 hours later I called him and he reported that he had to go get a different van and that I should have diagnosed the problem better so that he would have the right equipment. I will schedule service reviews on my appliances and then cancel the warranty unfortunately. They used to be worth it.
