- Review: This is a horrible company... STAY AWAY. My cooktop has been breaking breaking every other month for the better part of the year. Each time, they subcontracted it and did maintanance work that did not fix the problem. I asked them about it and their response was "The problem is fixable and hence the appliance will not be repaired" When I countered by saying that the fix is not working... the appliance breaks ever 5 weeks - the reverted back to the previously quoted line. Most recently, my cooktop broke again. This time it has been broken for 5 weeks and AHS has not fixed the problem. They take the money from my credit card on time, but they do not assure that the problem is fixed in a timely manner.

- Review: I bought the new policy that they started in early 2008. This policy covers all preexisiting problems and includes anything improperly installed and/or maintained. I have had the AC and furnace replaced, some plumbing fixed, and the garage door springs and track replaced. This policy appears to be better than the others and the people they send out comment on it every time. They usually tell me its not going to be covered, but when they call it and find out about the new policy they fix it. From what I am told AHS came up with this policy because of all the complaints. If you go with them make sure you get it because I have not had any problems. Also, all the service people have been very helpful and friendly.
