  • Review: I FOUND OUT THIS WAS INCLUDED WHEN I PURCHASED THE HOME. my furnace broke WHICH IS EXTREMELY COLD IN IDAHO. THE REPAIR COMPANY THEY USED IVE USED THEM BEFORE AND ARE THE BEST IN THE TOWN. ALSO THEY HELPED WITH MY DUCTWORK AS WELL IN THE SYSTEM. THE TECH RODNEY WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND SAID HE LIKES TO WORK FOR AMERICNA RESIDENTIAL. I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY BECAUSE ITS NICE TO JUST PAY 55 INSTEAD OF ALOT MORE.

  • Review: This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. My heater broke in the middle of winter (8 degree nights outside) and it took 2 days to get someone out. Apparantly they only had one service provider for heat???? Then when the service provider came out, they assessed that the problem was a big one and the heater(over 39 years old) should be replaced. We even said we would partially pay to get a good model. Land America then said they needed a second opinion, which took another day and a half to get some one out. The second company agreed that the unit should be replaced, but said they could "bandaid" it and it would hopefully get us by until Land America decided what to do. Because the second company was not contracted with them

  • Review: While this company seemed to be all about customer service in order to get me signed up and get my payment, after the first call for service it became apparent that they were something other than they appeared. I called for service on my AC unit on 6/25. They did not dispatch a service technician until 6/29. The service technician came out the same day. They notified Nationwide that my unit needed repair or replacement. I spoke with the service technician who said that Nationwide told them they would be calling me for authorization to fix/replace the unit. When I had not heard from them that evening I called to follow up and was told they needed my service records for the AC unit. I gathered the service records and sent them to them on 7/1, after calling them to make sure they had them I was told that it would be 7-10 business days for them to review and make a determination. I called at 7 days and was told it would be 10-12 business days. I called today 7/22 and was told the claim was denied. They said it was denied because of a pre-existing condition. I have not had problems with the unit for 2 years and have records to prove. In addition, when I asked for something in writing denying the claim- I was told that was not their policy and they would not send me anything in writing- only tell me over the phone. Can you say "class action suit?"
