  • Review: Allied referred AAA Plumbing to come out and access the problem with my Hot Water Heater, they chareged me $605.00 for all sort of things that my new home did not need, I had to contact another plumbing company Echols and Sons that did a great job replacing the hot water heater, although I had to pay for this out of my pocket. Get this the Hot water heater was under warranty and Allied said since it was under warranty they would not reimburse me the $250.00 I had to pay out of pocket, and they referral told me that I had to pay the &605.00 that was not covered through Allied, does'nt this sounds like a scam please anyone that has a contract with this company RUN LIKE HELL!

  • Company Name: Sensible Home Warranty

  • Review: I have 5 properties covered by Sensible Home Warranty and have been contracted with them for nearly a year. During this time, they've managed to fix every problem. Sometimes they've even had a repairman arrive in less than an hour, most times within a day and a half. Holiday weekends are a bit rough, understandably. When their AC person couldn't arrive for a day or two (and temps were over 100) they agreed to reimburse me (minus the service fee) for a pro that I knew from managing properties - and that worked like a charm. The SHW repairmen have ranged from plumbers, electrical, HVAC and general appliance repair. They've got a really good stable of people on call and the customer service folks are very responsive and courteous. They always follow up too. I highly recommend SHW and have suggested my sons use SHW for their homes.

  • Company Name: Fidelity National Home Warranty

  • Review: 6/4/2010 I live in Dallas/Ft Worth area and have had Fidelity since I bought my house in 2008. Yesterday, my air conditioner went out. It is supposed to be 100 today and by Sunday, 104 degrees. I called Fidelity and they set me up with Chapman Air Conditioning whom I had problems with last year. I called Fidelity at 6:35pm and when I had not heard from Chapman by 8:30 pm I called them. No answer. I called Chapman back 2 more times and Fidelity 2 more times before I gave up and went to bed sweating. Fidelity reps were RUDE and CONDESENDING! 6/5/2010 I called Chapman at 8:30am this morning and they informed me they can't come until MONDAY!! I will DIE of HEAT STROKE by Sunday afternoon. So, I called Fidelity back at 8:45 am. RUDE, RUDE RUDE! As it stands right now at 11:30am, Fidelity SAYS they are trying to find another service to come out. I have called them 3 more times and only get the run around. This is Dallas/Ft Worth. There are THOUSANDS of Heating/Air Conditioning companys! Fidelity said if I find one on my own they will not reimburse! I am going to do the following: 1. Find a company on my own and send the bill to Fidelity. 2. Sue Fidelity in small claims court for the $525 I paid them for my warranty this year 3. File complaints with the following: BBB of California, California Home Warranty Association, and the Insurance Association of California. I WILL NOT BUY another warranty from this crappy company with their RUDE RUDE RUDE reps!!@ Jerry Messick Grand Prairie, TX 817-807-0576 cc: my attorney
