- Review: November, 2010 I called for service on my stove-top. The burners would not light. December 2010 the first repairman was sent out. There is only one part that can be replaced on a stovetop. It took 9 appointments to be fixed. Each appointment was a 4 or 5 hour window. I called Customer Service and I was told I should get preferred service over other customers, since I was a Realtor. I said I had retired and asked her if this is the treatment a non-Realtor would receive. Of course she denied what she had just said to me..... I placed several phone calls to the sales person, June Glen, and received just one email to let me know she was going on vacation, back in a week..I never hard from her again! It took 9 weeks, all through the holidays, and I never received a return call from the sales person or anyone else in the company. The repair took place on January 19th 2011. If the company is only going to extend service to Realtors that can increase sales, perhaps they should only sell the policies to Realtors and not waste everyone else's time and money.. June Glenn took me out to lunch to sell me the policy, too bad she couldn't pick up the phone to service it. Extremely poor service. Not worth the money.

- Review: I have been going round and round with this company regarding my air conditioning unit since July of 09. I was out of about $175 last year to have my unit serviced...about 31 days later it was not cooling again..hence..now I have a leak..but of course Choice doesn't pay for the leak detection test (225)..a gentlman even had the nerve to call me last year in October and told me since it was the end of the season to just wait till the summer! Well, summer is right around the corner..so after another service call fee (45) and another (125) that Choice wouldn't cover...a new company found the same issue...a leak in my a-coil...now all of the sudden it's a pre-existing condition and I need to fax over maintenance records. I will be contacting the Attorney General's office in New Jersey to file a formal complaint...and NO...I will not be renewing this contract..even though Brad Collins was so kind to offer me a free service call upon renewal! WOW...a whopping $45 and I give this bogus company another 355....NOT! BEWARE...BEWARE...BEWARE....

- Review: The problem with 2 - 10 seems to be that they have a poor communication policy / practice between itself and the contractors it uses to do the service. Every time I have had to use the Warranty, it has always taken at least 10 days to complete the service?????? For instance in early summer 2009 my pool filter system (which a 2 - 10 servicers replaced under the warranty 3 years earlier) began to leak at the manifold. Well after 2 weeks of waiting I began to follow up, so I call the servicer Malibu Pools who told me they were waiting for the ok to order the part (which was available at LESLIES Pool Supply 2 Blocks from my house). Well when I contacted 2 10 they told me first they had given the ok to make the repairs and the part was on order!!!!!!! Anyway, it didn't make me happy to hear 2 separate stories, but I needed to get the leak fixed in order filter my pool. Well 1 week later the repairs weren't done, so I called 2 - 10, as the weather was warming up. At that point and time the 2 - 10 REP. told me that the part wasn't covered by the warranty, because their servicer had indicated it was damaged by heat from my pool heater. Well I guess 2 10 didn't realize I was very capable / knowledgible when it came to pumping systems with 20 plus years of experience! Even if I didn't have that experience, the fact that the heater is 4' beyond the filter says it all. For the Heated water to damage the filter it would have to have 1 been before the filter. As it was designed 25 years ago by the pool installers the water comes from the pool to the pump through the filter, then to the heater and back to the pool. By the way did I mention I live in the Lancaster Ca. where I only use the heater 2 times a year when I have Boy Scouts over / not to mention the fact that 2 - 10 replace a stainless steel filter that had been in since 1975, and the one that lasted 3 years was plastic. I followed up with PENTAIR on the heat issue to find out that the information on the heat damage which was given by 2 10 was incorrect. Anyway that was the last straw, I called my pool man and ask him to arrange to get the parts from Leslies Pool Supply and make the repairs, he came over that afternoon to find the repairs were done?????? Well I guess if you like to wait and fight for what you paid for then 2 10 would be a the warranty company for you. Otherwise I'd look elsewhere like I am doing. 2-10 HB Warranty has seen the last of my money, I recommend the rest of their policy holders do the same.

- Review: The "customer service representatives" are not the problem with this company, it is the misleading information contained in their literature. Be very careful and maker sure you read all of the fine print. One last thing, do not make a service call until you have had the plan for at least 30 days or so. That came from one of their contractors.
