- Review: They are horrible. Will try and find anything wrong with your problem to void your warranty. I completed every requirement required by home inspection and had the furnace inspection up to code. The carbon Monoxide tester went out and a Heating and air company said to replace it. They tried to work with the warranty company. They told the warranty company it was a cracked heat exchanger. After talking and getting 2nd opinions from another Heating and air co. They told me the furnace wasn't up to code. In which my furnace techniacian never said anything about. I asked teh furnace guy and they said it was fine plenty of room. Had the Home inspector come out and put Air combustion vents in. Then HSA told me it was denied because of remodeling of my basement and it was causing a soot build-up, so it was voided. They are weasels and bad company do not use them. Worst experience of my home owning experience. Just frustrating. Disgruntled customer, Greg Simon HSA is a horrible company.

- Review: I called because my air condionter quit. I called Monday evening and was told they could not get there until Thursday at 2 pm. The temperature for this three day wait was 98 to 100 with a heat index of 105-110. I am a 77 yr old woman. I had to be rushed to the emergency room at 7 am Thursday morning with heat stroke. The Doctors told me 1 more hour and I would have died. I do not call this good service!

- Review: I received a complimentary home warranty when I listed my home for sale with a local realtor. 11 days after listing the home for sale my Sub-Zero refrigerator started flashing a service code. I contacted 2-10 by telephone because none of their in-network repair companies were authorized Sub-Zero service centers. They eventually agreed to an out of network provider. I contacted all three Sub-Zero authorized shops in my metro area and 2 instantly refused to even work with 2-10 from prior experience, the third agreed as long as I paid up front and have 2-10 reimburse me directly. Condenser was bad and replacement would be $400 labor (parts covered by Sub-Zero under factory warranty). 2-10 refused payment with the excuse that condensers take time to fail so it is a pre-existing condition. by their logic I would need the policy in place the moment I first plugged in the appliance. I asked how long the policy needed to be in effect for them to cover the repair and they refused to answer, just that it takes time for that to fail. I have filed a complaint with my state Attorney Generals office.

- Review: I filed a claim with them regarding a roof leak. They gave me nothing but a run around. The contractor they sent failed to return calls; fax docs to the warranty company or the warranty company claimed they never got them. I had to follow up with the warranty company and the contractor several times. Meanwhile dealing with rain coming into my living room and doing damage to my ceiling. Finally - They denied my claim saying they only cover leaks due to things like nail pops. I asked what category my issue fell under, first told "missing/broken shingles". I said the shingles are not missing nor are there any broken shingles. To which they then claimed that it was under "wood and underlayment". No matter what they weren't going to cover it; though if you read the report from the roofers and the contract I have from the warranty company showing what is included/excluded, I still believe it should have fallen under the warranty.

- Review: I called ServiceOne for a plumbing issue. The person identified that it was a problem with the faucet. In order to fix it, he said that he had to rip off the drywall. But he mentioned that it is not ServiceOne's responsibility to fix the dry wall that he ripped off. I politely said that I had to talk to his manager. Called his manager and his manager said the same thing. They will fix the original problem of fixing the plumbing.. but leave me with a bigger problem of a ripped open drywall, because it is "not covered under our warranty" :-)))) Please steer clear away from these bogus warranties that ServiceOne provides. Do your diligence and call anybody from CraigsList.. They work much much better for problems like these.

- Review: Ive had them for 3 years with no major problems. They've fixed everything in a somewhat timely manner the few times they have been out. Except my furnance. They have been to my house 5 times in a year to fix my furnance. I recently called in October to have them come out once again and the idiotic rep was arguing with me that they had already fixed my AC. I asked her if she had any idea that an AC blew cold air and a furnance was meant to heat. I shouldve known when she verified my address as OMUM, NORTHEAST and not Nebraska. I eventually talked to a nice rep who was able to get a new company to come out and they waived my deductible. However, today is one of the coldest days ever with 30 below windchill and surprise surprise....its 59 degrees in my house. Someone is going to have a rough morning when they get me on the line.
