  • Review: You can read my post 516, Check out the date of my first post its been nearly 30 days still have power to 1/2 my house. The sex offender guy with allegations came over again this weekend and said he had gotten the contract so I let him in. He spent an hour with a male friend of his while 2 ladies ( I guess the alleged sex offender wife) were yelling in a van in front of my house. He again pulled wires and left my house with wires hanging out. We still have wires hanging from outlets. I have contacted Az APS, the city of yuma and in the process of placing a claim with roc of az, requesting an investigation. I can tell you I have been hanging in there the best I can. I am so confused right now.

  • Review: I have been a customer of total protect for about 3 years. I have been impressed with the service/repairs and have saved money. To date I've had a new washer replaced, hot water heater replaced and my service box replaced. So far great. I recently had a short in my house and total protect had a technician come over. The first day he came over he looked in the service box and said you have a short. He charged me 75.00 and told me he would call total protect and get the ok to look for the short. A week later he comes over, I'm a little bothered because I only have electric to half my house. He tells me off the bat total protect only allowed him 5 hours to look for short. I got the impression he was looking for extra money so I offered to do what I could like moving furniture away from the outlets so he could work faster. Next thing I know he asked me to start unscrewing all the outlets. He had me running to the service box turning the breakers on and off. At one point he asked me what I do for a living and I told him I was a sex offender compliance officer for the state of Arizona. I knew I hit a nerve and he starts to tell me he was under investigation for molesting his step daughter, I was ready to kick the guy out of my house. Long story short he left the house shortly after discovering who I was and left live wires hanging out the walls. I could not believe it, I had to send my family to stay at relatives because the house was unsafe. What the hell, any how total protect has another company coming over in a couple of days.

  • Review: Have had this policy for 2 years never used it. After a rainstorm my circuit breaker box was acting weird. Called the company to request a tech to show up. It took 2 days before anyone showed. The tech examined the box and after about an hour he saw signs of over heating and water damage inside. He said he would report it to the insurance company and request a replacement. The insurance company called me and told me that the claim was denied because and i quote " since water got into the box we don't cover acts of god". But if I had a roof leak and paid the extra coverage fee that would be fixed. I am waiting for my contract to be over since I am stuck with a company that has no morals.

  • Review: CAP is the best home warranty company now in existence. They lack only one thing: fame. If they did have it, it would save many homeowners the grief that comes with working with a warranty company that seems dedicated to denying every claim. They are an amazing outfit. If you don't believe me: Call them. First off, you'll notice: A HUMAN BEING ANSWERS. No robot. No voice prompts. Secondly, if you have questions, you will get clear, straight-forward answers and promises about their service that sound too good to be true. I have already made a number of claims and found... they WERE true. Their cost may exceed that of their competitors, but, believe me, they are worth every penny of it. Real Estate companies, take note: Sell your client on this company and you can expect gratitude and the increased confidence that comes when an agent makes a sound judgment. To all home buyers my advice is simple: Enroll with them, experience them, and tell your friends. This little jewel of a company deserves all the publicity it can get. CAP merits five stars with ease. -Humphrey's Business Review

  • Review: I have First American because when I bought my house 11 months ago, I was provided with it. About a month I file a claim about my ductwork. Two bedrooms were barely getting any air flow from my A/C. The repairing co. was prompt to come over and check. They could'nt had seen a thing 'cause my attic is so narrow they couldn't get it. they left and said they call back to let me know if the work needed was covered. I waited for almost two weeks for their call. When I called them, the work needed it was not covered. I have no idea how this was decided since the company that checked my ducts told me they could not see what was wrong, but never came back. I'm RIGHT NOW looking to buy home owmers warranty from another company.

  • Review: just read the last complaint. I am a one man company, I am licensed, insured, bonded. I have 19 years in the hvac trade. My van does have company name on it. When you get my company you get a well seasoned tech. Not all small companies are bad. I do agree that there are a large perentage of bad contractors, big and small. The BBB will charge a contractor $400-$1500 just to join a year. Many companies are terrible but as long as they pay the BBB they are always in good standing. If a company is truly credible they will get repeat customers.

  • Review: I signed up with this company 3 months ago. They have collected the monthly premium out of my account on the 1st of each month. My a/c compressor broke the other day. Now I discover they are a bunch of scammers. I could have gone with a different company and would not be sitting here in 100+ degree weather with no a/c. These jerks don't realize how they affect peoples' lives.
