Allied Home Warranty is a scam. The warranty came with the house when we bought it. I renewed the warranty…BIG MISTAKE. Allied contracts with terrible service people. I cancelled my policy and will help anyone interested in Allied. Do NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM! Do not give them your business.

Allied Home Warranty is a scam. They will not honor the agreement that you paid for. Do yourself and your buyers a favor…DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY FROM ALLIED!

My dishwasher stopped working and I called for a repair. The repairman concluded that I needed a new control panel which is cost prohibitive and recommended buying a new unit. Allied offered me $248 for a new dishwasher. A comparable unit to the one I have would be closer to $1,000. They refused to budge off of their number and rudely informed me that it is their policy not to replace based on comparability. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR HOME WARRANTY.

Allied referred a plumbing company AAA Full Service Plumbing. After they fixed my toilet, I noticed items missing from my bathroom closet.

Do not let Allied refer you to AAA Full Service Plumbing.

Had their service for one year the vendors which they used were rude! and unprofessional. I contacted Allied after each issue no one choose to contact me for 3 months then offered to reimburse the service fee, it has been another month and still no check. I have canceled my service with them.

100% disreputable company. Tried to use them 3 times and gave up. Waste of money. The whole program is designed to take clients money and do everything they can to not repair a problem. The discounts they give for using their affilitates are inflated prices that are above any and all other companies you can call yourself. If your buying a home ask the sellers to replace an appliance that is about $500, instead of wasting the buyers money on a warranty you not going to be able to use anyway.

I have had this warranty since January 2011 and have had 3 service issues for 3 different repairs, washing machine, air conditioner and now water ehater. The service contractors are never able to get to your house timely, When the AC was out this summer it took them 5 days to get there and then did not have the part on truck and had to order it. This was same issue with washing machine, this took 4 or 5 trips from service company. Now I have been having an issue with the hot water heater. AFter 3 trips to my house, the hot wtaer ehater pilot light is not styaing lit. Called Allied again this morning and they sadi they would call me back. It is very frustrating when you work full time to leave work, wait on the repairmen time after time for the same problem that does not get resolved. I will not renew my contract with Allied but will search out another provider for this contract due to poor performance.

Please do NOT waste your money on this company. They do not cover anything and you can get the repairs cheaper by not using their service provider (Lone Star Air Conditioning)and paying the normal price with your own provider. Their pest control was a joke and they have come to my house 3 times for my 4 year old air conditioning unit and want to fix a part that is covered under warranty and charge $1,075 for labor. The air conditioning company that I have used for years will charge $650 since the part is still under warranty. BEWARE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

Allied had a third party rekey my locks. I have a very standard storm door with a very conventional lock on it. The repairman said he was afraid to try to rekey this lock. He said that he had tried a simular one that fell apart on him. He did rekey the other locks satisfactorily. Allied would not have anyone else come to rekey this lock. They have offered me no recourse. They say this is not a “standard residential lock” although the contract does not say they won’t rekey a storm door lock. I am very displeased with their attitude and failure to live up to their contract terms.
