Home warranty is a complex insurance product. Unlike home insurance, it does not provide blanket coverage for all appliances. Pre-existing conditions and problems resulting from lack of maintenance of appliance are are generally not covered by home warranty companies. Home warranty sellers may not state these factors clearly, and this will create dissatisfaction among customers. Due to these factors, you will see many negative reviews here. Does anyone have any information on this company? I can’t find anything on them besides their webpage.
I bought a foreclosure so I closed the deal with a bank. A month after purchase, my HVAC or heating unit went out in November. Choice Home requested maintenance records on HVAC from 5 years back but the previous owner was a bank and the person who was in foreclosure is long gone. So Choice Home didn’t cover anything! Choice Home’s contractual agreement is even confusing. The agreement states that they don’t cover pre-existing conditions detected from home inspections but there’s nothing in the agreement about home inspections finding everything in proper working order. TAKE THE CROOKS TO JAIL!
I just cancelled my contract with them. I put in my first claim and they used every way to get out of paying for it. They picked apart words used by the contractor to deny the claim. It was a simple water leak, but when asked why the contractor said old age. When that wasn’t enough, they keep asking him why and he finally said corrosion, which they said is not covered.
I have been with Choice for 6 years now, anytime my problem is big or small i know ill have a professinal in my home in no time…2 thumbs up!
I am pretty handy around the house and throughout my life I was able to fix almost anything. When I reached 72 my wife convinced me to purchase a warranty from Choice.
I realized the value of the warranty when my heat went out in the middle of the night, within 3 hours i had a tech at my home working on it.
I am very pleased with Choice and they are delightful to speak to on the phone. Thanks Choice for always being there for me and my wife Marsha.

I joined Choice Home Warranty because their rate is low, but I regret it because a lot of things they don’t cover. For example, they don’t cover leak because of the fixture such as the faucet, so my first claim was not accepted.
My built-in microware quits working from time to time and the light and turn table aren’t working during cooking. I submitted a new claim for built-in microware on 12/29/08. The assigned technician came, but didn’t do any repair because it heated up fine (he heated for 1 minute), though the light and turn table weren’t working while he was there. I cleaned the grease filters as suggested by the technician, but the broke down problem still exists.
I called the CSR at Choice later and again on 1/7/09. I was told that the contractor is still trying to figure out how to solve the problem and asked me to be patient. Meantime, the CSR asked me to video tape the broke down situation because the oven works fine while the technician was there.
After broke down so many times, we finally realize the microware shuts down by itself after 2 minutes or less and power comes back up in about 5-10 minutes. After several attempts, I managed to tape the whole thing via my cell phone. I email the file to Choice, as requested, on 1/8/09.
I called Choice on 1/12/09 and asked if they have receive the video. He said yes, but they couldn’t watch it. He asked to resend, but I told him I can’t because I have no control of what format. I told him he can ask the technician to come and check. He then told me it is not covered because the grease catcher was not cleaned properly…etc. This really makes me very unhappy because they have wasted so many days of my time and asked me to tape it. If they have no intention to cover, why they want to waste my time and energy.
I decided to call back to cancel my contract. The CSR said they have to review my account and I have to wait for the verdict later. What kind of service crap it is.
Please do not make the mistake of choosing this home warranty company as I have! You cannot get your money back.
Buyer Beware: I have a dishwasher deemed irrepairable. Ron Stillwater reported that they will replace my dishwasher but it will take 8-12 weeks or I can buy out for 113.00 (which is the wholesale price of the dishwasher on back order). If I choose the buyout option they will not cover installation. Anyone know where I can buy a basic model new dishwasher and have it installed for $113.00?
I am unable to come up with the extra money to make up the difference between the buy out amount and the actual cost of replacing the dishwasher and now have to wait 8-12 with no guarantee that it will be available by 12 weeks.
In addition to the above, the customer service reps dealing with open claims are:
-rude
-condescending
-lack knowledge of claim determination process
If you ask questions beyond their script they cannot answer specific questions about the how the buy out amount was determined, how many wholesale companies do they use to provide replacement appliances etc..
Ron Stillwater’s answer is that I am lucky that they will pay that much as a buy out because my dishwasher is aged. Their offer is “generous” .

Neither replaced appliance or cashed out at fair market value; claiming a pre-existing condition!
Basically, Choice Home Warranty would not honor a single item of the Home warranty that i purchased. One manager, Ron Stillwater actually swore and hung up on us. Our water hear broke and, as our finished basement flooded, he told the plumbers to leave as they would not have an approval / denial answer for 3 days!!!. we had to pay for everything in the end and Choice wouldnt do anything to help. Not they wont even talk to us even though we still have our warranty (they wont even allow us to cancel it).
Like many of the other reviews submitted, we just filed our first claim for a washing machine that the contractor deemed too costly to repair. CHW gave us the run around for a week, consistently put us on long holds on the phone, and couldn’t answer any questions that weren’t in their script. We also were told our washer replacement would take 8-12 weeks since it was back-ordered (funny how everyone’s appliances are all 8-12 weeks back-ordered…) They “generously” offered us $186.77 for our washer due to it’s age. Very rude, condescending “customer services” staff. Could NEVER get a manager to call us back. Did finally get an email and they told us we just didn’t read the contract properly and they were going above and beyond the policy for us already and we should be grateful. We are taking the advice of other reviewers and calling our credit card company. American Home Shield has a class action suit – CHW should have one against them too!

I made a horrible mistake whenn taking Choice Home Warranty as my home warranty provider. I was shocked when the problem cccured. My A/C unit was not doing its job, the unit outside stop blowing and there was no cool air. I proceeded to call my CHW they sent a tech out. This company was very unprofessinal and I wasn’t impressed with them. Well anyway it turned out that the man couldn’t pin point an exzct problem with it. He suggested that it might be dog hair that is keeping the motor from operating correctly, ok so he ends up leaving with the problem not fixed. I proceeded to call CHW and they said that the claim was closed and that the tech said it was in top working order, I was shocked and outraged and felt taken advantage of by this company. I ended cancelling my service with them and they offered not to charge a 50 dollar cancellation fee. Thanks for nothing CHW.

I am trying to find out if I can take them to lower court. I bought my policy 6 month back and now my water heater is leaking. Contractor came to check and told that it need to be replace. Later afternoon he called me and told that my claim was denied by CHW. I called the customer service, lady told me that it is denied as they do cover corrosion. They told me that I should have done maintenance on water heater yearly. This heater was 24 yrs old and the contractor told me that it has pass 3 times its life expectancy and there is no way to maintain this.
These guys were pretty good compared to the other companies I delt with. I had a sink stoppage and broken disposal and they fixed both. I recommend ya’ll give them a try.
We are a appliance repair service center that CHW contacted and asked us to take a call for a repair on a dryer. We accepted the call, went to the customers home diag. the repair went back put a timer and a start knob on the dryer and we still have not been paid for the job.
This company is not honorable. The parts alone for this job cost us 120.00 not to mention the labor and gas to go 20 miles one way (twice).
I have called several times to inquire and have deliberately been disconnected several times. Horrible, horrible and I think this company is a big scam.

I had an AC problem and it was determined that the compressor needed to be replaced. They said I had to provide exhaustive maintenance records. I provided receipts of all past AC maintenance done on the unit–many were from my own maintenance like changing filters, etc. After faxing to them, they said, I need all the receipts. Who in the world is going to get receipts of every filter replaced. After I provided the as many receipts as possible, they said the records were not what they expected so they denied the claim. I had to fix the AC problem myself!!!! What’s the point of a home warranty service! That is total BS! Watch out for these guys and their super super tiny fineprint which they mail you is not even the complete picture. When I called them, they said they had the right to change the terms anytime and I had to go to their website instead which has different/additional clauses which allows them a way to bail out of a claim. They had to direct me to their website that had additional fineprint which indicated they can ask for maintenance records of all kinds and that gives them reason to deny claims! Even if you do provide the info, they could still deny it. Plus, if you decide to cancel, there is further fineprint that says they could deny the cancellation and if cancelling is not to their benefit, they will charge you for everything they ever did for you during your time with them.
I agree with the other posts. It does not seem Choice wants to honor their contract of replacing or repairing. In my example, our air conditioner was leaking freon and had frozen up. A new coil, and leak detection was recommended by the contractor (alternatively the system should be replaced). Choice approved only replenshing the freon which they said should last us through the cooling season.
This is analogous to putting a band-aid on the problem–neither repair nor replace occured.
Has anyone taken this company to court? I would really appreciate information in this regard. After receiving their advertisements, I cancelled my previous company to switch to Choice Home Warranty. Since I did it over the internet, I expected to receive a contract to review. After not receiving a policy, I called their offices and was told they would call me the next day. THIS WAS THE FIRST FLAG!! They are closed after 3 or 2 pm pacific time. The next morning, I spoke to Mike and told him that I did not want the policy because I did not want a 30 day delay to make it effective since I was going out of town. After supposedly speaking with his supervisors, Mike came back and told me they were making the policy effective as of the payment day. I waited one month until I received the actual policy in the mail!! Then I realized that they lied about the effective date. They did not make it effective as of the payment day. The icing on the cake is that 3 weeks later my water heater broke and as the other reports say, they are saying it is preexisting condition and do not cover! How can we contact each other to put more weight on this issue? Also, What is the dateline website?
I just signed up for this service a few months ago and unfortunately have had to use their services 3 times. I have to say that each time was better than the next. I had dedicated people handling my claims and they were very kind. The best thing is that they were pro-active, always calling me to make sure everything was being handled properly. One of my claims was denied, and they pointed it out to me in the contract, and it was fine. In any case the service was great.

I’ve been checking these reviews ever since I last posted my complaint and I have to say any post on this site that professes to have had good service is actually someone from the company trying to make the company seem like it is legitimate. Trust all the other post that are telling it like it is. Service company’s have been ripped off time and time again and in an ecomomy that is so fragile pertaining to small businesses I find there ethics appalling.
I would also like say that the customer we did the service call for, had the integrity to pay us for the service call that Choice home warranty company should have paid for. It’s really a shame that a nice honest person that paid for a home warrany policy did not reap the benefit of having the policy. Thank you Dawn, there are not to many people that would have had your integrity.

I have only 1 3 letter word for this company. WOW! My Air Conditioner wasn’t working when I woke up this morning, and it was fixed by 3pm. I was worried when I got the appointment scheduled and took off work, I hate to get docked a day when these guys miss the appointment, but the technician was on time, had the parts available in his truck, and I’m sitting in cool air again thanks to choice home warranty.
I’ve used their service for the first time, and must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Exactly what they told me it would be when I purchased.
I have just used this service for the very first time, and am very satisfied. The repair was quick and I only paid $60. I am a very happy customer.
I recently transfered my home warranty to Choice after receiving very poor service from another company. Yesterday had a leak in my home and called in the claim at 10:30PM, this morning a plumber was in my home doing the repair. Ashley from Choice called to make sure the tech arrived on time and that the repair was being handled well. James M said it right, they are very pro-active. 5 Stars from me.
I was very satisfied with the service. My claim was assigned on the first call and the contractor was here the same day. Finally a home warranty company that actually repairs stuff!
The technician came and fixed my frig. within a day. Did a
superbe job. He also taught me how to remedy the situation if it happens again. The frig was leaking onto a solid maple floor which was driving me batty.
I too had a surprising great experience with Choice Home Warranty. I heard nightmarish stories of other companies and was a bit concerned. Choice Home Warranty did right by me and fixed my A/C within a day. Its nice not having to deal with a scam company for a change.
Mom and I signed up together for Choice home warranty service, seemed like a good idea beings mom’s handy man, (husband) had recently passed away.
the sales representative assured us that it did not matter the age of the home or the appliances, and after 30 days of sign up , everything would be covered No Questions asked!!!!!!!! He made it clear that unlike the other companies Choice will honor all repairs or replacements.
3 months after signing up moms central air conditioner Went out, she lives in a mobile home and the temperature gauge was reading over 100 degrees, mom is a 3 time cancer survivor and had just lost the love of her life, and she did not need to hear that Choice would not honor their agreement and cover her A/C unit.
I wrote them a letter, hoping to get some remedy and resolve, they never did reply to my letter.
Mom ended up buying a new A/C unit. Because the loop hole they use is written in the contract, if the appliance has not had yearly professional maintenance check ups then they do not have to repair or replace.
Tell me who has all their appliances professionally checked every year? That is a ridiculous expectation. Well, we have learned The hard way to look for this loop hole in any other Home Warranty service company we might consider.
My first claim was handled great. Very impressed so far. I recommend everyone to switch over. I had AHS for a number of years and they have a habit of putting you thru hoops before fixing anything. 5 stars from me!
I’m a new vendor with these folks and i’m very pleased with the professionalism and responsiveness. the hold time was less than 20sec which excellent compared to other home warranty companies. getting authorization for repairs was also a breeze.
Fantastic service and an overall great experience. My ceiling fan was replaced without hassle. I honestly had my doubts about purchasing another home warranty since National Protection Warranty burned me last year, but I must say I’m a happy camper. Highly recommended.
I placed my first claim with this firm on Monday and my A/C was back up and cooling earlier today. I was impressed that they assigned and scheduled my appointment for service within an hr of placing my claim. AAA Air was also pretty good compared to other guys I have dealt with.

I have to admit that when trying to find home warranty coverage I was very leary. I read comments about other companies plus listening to people that I actually knew complain about the company that held their policy. So the question of whether the comments were true or not did not enter my thoughts. I have just experienced my first appliance problem. I called immediately, talked to someone explaining what had happened. The next day a repairman had called me and set up a time to come out. ALL schedules were kept and my appliance was fixed with 3 calls from Choice Home Warranty. First, to make sure I had been contacted by the repairman and an appointment had been made; again they called to make sure they had kept the appointment and since the repairman had to get another part that was not expected (which I relayed to CHW)I was called again to make sure I was satisfied with the repair and my whole experience. I have only had one experience but from this one I would recommend Choice Home Warranty to anyone.

I just had my garbage disposal replaced by choice. Very pleased and impressed with the whole experience. Much better than ahs and I was with them for 6 years.
Well I bought this home warranty and had my usual doubts. I was burned by National Protection Warranty, and figured these guys were another scam. However, Choice fixed my AC the very same day I made the claim call. I WAS AMAZED!!! No hassles and no excuses LOL. I couldn’t believe it! I finally found a warranty company that doesn’t jerk you around…and belive you me I’ve been through them all. Thank you Choice Home Warranty!
I would think twice before taking this company. There is a clause “known or unknown pre-existing conditions, deficiencies and/or defects” that they could freely use at any time not to cover anything. My AC unit broke, I made my claim and being honest the assigned a technician very fast which was good. When the technician came, he didn’t fix anything (105F degrees) but made a report and send it to these guys. The problem was the compressor and needed to be replaced. The next day they called telling that they denied the claim. 1st they told me that is was because I was only 25 days on the plan which didn’t make sense and then they corrected it and use the clause I stated before. Talked to their own technician and he told me that a compressor either work or not (white or blank). No sense at all with pre-existing clause for it. I called and ask for a Manager, they didn’t have any at that time 10:00 am, but told me that he will call in about 24 hours. 3 days later I called them since nobody called me, they were reluctant to bring the manager but finally one answered…after discussing he said he will call me in an hour. 6 hours later I called since didn’t receive any call, I talked to the supposed manager. He said he called me and let me a message which is a lie. Bottom line, they didn’t cover anything supposedly for a pre-existing “unknow” issue that its own technician says that thing doesn’t exist. I canceled right away the contract with these guys since I really do not know what to expect and can not rely on a not serious at all company. Is someone read this please take my advice, DO NOT TAKE THIS GUYS, and I am serious. After reading many of these reviews I can see that they only fix minor things, when something expensive shows they will use its ridiculous clause and screw you. Do not let them do that with you. My mistake was to change from a another company I had before and with which I never have any issue to this one for a few bucks, I really regret that. I am sure the guy who commented just before me is either someone from this company or the problem with his AC was just a fuse or another really cheap problem. Just wait if you have a big one and you will see.

I’d just like to share my pleasant experience with Choice Warranty. I had a real problem with my AC for years and couldnt seem to get it right. I’ve been through many other companies and all of them denied me. I took a chance with Choice and signed up. I thought they were going to deny me like the rest, but I luckily I was wrong. Hank from AAA Air was the most knowledgable tech I’ve met and fixed my unit to run cool as new. Troy from CHW was also a pleasure to deal with. He helped me every step of the way. If you are in the market for a home warranty you should consider Choice Home Warranty.

The only complaint that i have is that it took the service provider approx. 30 before he got authorization to do the plumbing job. After the authorization was granted it only took approx. 10 mins to fix the problem. Overall the service was great i recommend having this warranty to any homeowner. It will save you time money and a headache.

Service from Choice Home Warranty was perfect. The technician on the other hand was also good but not great. The only reason why I gave him a 4 instead of a 5 is because he had mud on his boots and got dirt on my floor. Other than that I was very happy with the services I received. The price was also great so overall I’m a happy camper.
my garbage disposal was leaking, it was due to a crack in the casing. A repairwoman came 2 days after i called and replaced it – no question.
Except for the fact that she was booked all day the day after my call and could not make it earlier, she did an excellent job.
I would just like to say how happy I was using your services recently. Everytime something used to break I was always so worried about the contractor & repair cost, now with Choice I don’t have to worry anymore.

I used to have National Home Protection which is out of business and under investigation, but I switched to Choice Home Warranty in May. I just made my first claim yesterday for a plumbing leak, and the leak is repaired! No hassles. I am a very satisfied customer of Choice, and want to thank Jessica Andrews as she was so nice and helpful, I even tried to ask her out, but she turned me down

Pleased with the services I received. CHW repaired my sink clog and the technician was really nice too.
My ac was out in the middle of a heatwave and choice repaired it with no hassles. The only problem was that it the service man was booked up and could not come out until the next day, but I have to give credit to the choice customer service people, very nice and caring.

In reading the fine print on the contract, this company esentially provides almost no coverage of any items that might actually break. Of those items they do cover, there are so many exclusions and caveats that the end result is the seam – you pay for no actual coverage.
Case in point is the first cliam I attemtped to make. The front of the plicy states “Plumbig System Included.” However, on the back pages, in fine print, you fine that sewage ejector pumps, which are a relatively high fail item and range between $1000 to $1400 for repair, are not covered, and which was one reason I took out the policy in the first place.
Stay away from this company. They offer no real coverage for thie money.
I recently switched to Choice Home Warranty after using AHS for several years and I must say that their customer service is far superior to AHS. They were in constant contact with me during the entire claims process calling to help me with anything I needed. I would recommend switching to Choice Home Warranty.
I rate my eperience with choice home warrenty good except that one time when I called their computers were down and I had call back. they fix my refrigerater very good. I was happey.
My kitchen sink began draining extremely slow on a Sunday afternoon. Thinking it was nothing serious, I poured Drano Max Gel into the drain, hoping to fix the problem. The following morning, the water had drained out but the sink was still clogged. I went to the website for CHW to place a claim. A local Plumbing Compamy arrived at my home within 90 minutes. The drain was cleared in 15 minutes. I was more than pleased!
I purchased coverage with this company in July. So far I had a small plumbing backup in the basement and it was fixd very quick. I hope I have no other problems this year but if I do at least I have coverage with a good company. I am very pleased with my decsion to go with this company.
Very fast to set up first appointment. Kept in touch but scheduled company did not do service needed. Re-scheduled quickly and kept in touch reguarding new contarctor. But when quote submitted by contractor, no further communication from them. Have been trying for weeks now to get action. Was told contactor did not submit data, but contractor told me he submitted three times! Promised to have manager get back to me within 24 hours, 5 days later no call back. It seems that they are looking for a way not to pay claim. Contractor told me that they keep asking him if could have been pre-existing and they do not like his quote because it involves having to bring the unit up to code. (Which is included in their policy!) We are now in over a month and waiting. In the mean time the item is inoperative and per the contractor even dangerous to use. This should have been delt with promptly per their promises.
My AC stopped cooling. After initial call, on Friday, they gave the service to a Sewer & Plumbing contractor. When I raised the question about this contractor, I was assured that they also do AC work. When I called the contractor, he was surprised of why insurance co gave the job to him, he did not so any AC work. I had to wait till Monday to call the insurance co to ask for another service provider.
The next service guy did not show up Monday on his appointment but came in on Tuesday, the next day. His diagnosis was that the compressor and 3 capacitors of condensor unit have to be change with an estimated cost of $1,100.
Insurance co called me and wanted prior maintenace records on that unit. Which I don’t keep. For this reason and for the old of the unit, repair was refused. As every one knows, the capacitors and compressor unit are enclosed units and are not servicable. Compressor is rechargable, but that was not the cause of repair.
Insurance co send another contractor for second opinion and they got the same diagnosis.
Repair was refused. I canceled the contract with them today.
Please do not contract with this co or any high cost repair will be refuesed based on lack of maintenance or old age, the two commonly used excuses by home warranty companies.
I wanted to say that I am very pleased with Choice Home Warranty. I had a problem with my garage and they sent A and M Garage Door, he came out the same date and He replaced our garage door opener within two hours. I will definately renew when the time comes.
my refrigerator was not colling and the freezer totally melter. i called for service and was told my compressor was dead and needed a new one. everythingwas great except i had to wait 24hours for the new compressor
I own 4 rental properties that I had with AHS for years. Everytime I had to get a repair done is was a hassle and they would only bandaid the problem. I switched to Choice Home Warranty a few months ago and am very satisfied with their quick repair services. Instead of a bandaid they actually repair and replace. I just got an email from Troy McDermott to review my recent experience with Choice Home Warranty. I always ignore this kind of stuff but I had to review choice because I can’t remember the last time I had such excellent service from a company. The representatives were sensitive to my situation since I had a baby in the house and the ac was out. They kept in contact with me to make sure the A1 Air was on time and handling the repair. I gave them a 4 for service timeliness because A1 was 30 minutes late for the appointment, but for the overall rating I gave Choice a 5.
When my washer/dryer broke i didnt know what to do. I then realized i had a purchased a home warranty from Choice. The fellas over there processed my claim the same day and had a repairman out the following day. The $380 i invested in that warranty was well worth the peace of mind it now gives me.

Overall I am very happy with Choice Home Warranty, except when I made the claim it took B&M Garage Doors 3 hours to call me and set up the appointment. I thought it was going to be faster. They did replace my garage door opener the next day and I only paid a $45 service call fee. It was very easy.
Arrival time was to be between 9 & 12.00. He arrived around 9:30. Very professional. I had another service company that was a disgrace. I am so happy I found Choice Home Warranty. Hope if I need any more repairs the techicians are as professional as the one I had today.
I was very satisfied with my service call from choice. The technician told me that his company gives choice’s customers priority over other warranties because they pay quick and the people are nice and professional. When the service people like the company I think the service has to better, just like all other people – when they like the job they work better. I am satisfied with my choice in choice.
We have had two repairs called in, both were very quickly responded to via phone and email and repairs completed within a day. Would recommend Choice!
The repairman was at my home a few hours after my call. He diagnosed the problem as a bad compressor on my fridge. Very odd on a 4 1/2 year old Maytag. Turned out I am still covered by the warranty.
Total follow through on my satisfaction with their service was done within 24 hours.

There was a leak under the kitchen sink. The plumber showed up right on time. Replaced the part that was cracked and went on his way. He was professional, polite, and we were pleased. So far, so good!!!

Choice Home Warranty is the most reliable home warranty provider I have used. I was with AHS, HWA, & HSA in the past and they were all slow and annoying to deal with. Choice is a pleasure to deal with and the job gets done. I am very pleased with their service.

Great experience with Choice Home Warranty. I had a repairman come take a look at my stove and he fixed it, no problems! He was also nice enough to look at my washer without charging me.
We have had two claims denied in less than a year. One was for garbage disposal in the kitchen. They claimed it was because the service provider said that the work was not to code. I was witness to the phone conversation between the service provider and the insurance company; the plumber never said anything of the sort. The second claim just recently denied was on the heater, of which the compressor needs replaced. They indicated that since I could not produce proper maintenance documents, it was denied. The compressor does not require frequent maintenance as it is enclosed and not servicable. The house is 20 years old with original units and we have only been in it two years. All this was made clear when we signed the contract. Obviously a very fraudulent company. DO NOT USE.
I had a great experience with this company. My neighbor told me nightmarish stories about another company she dealt with. I found Choice on the web and gave them a try. My clothes dryer was not heating and they sent me a repairman the same day. I paid a $45 copay and it was all done. I just figured I’d share my experience with anyone shopping around.

I was kind of surprise to see how many contractors are doing business with Choice Home Warranty. They are able to send someone within a business day to fix my dishwasher. We knew its Selinda(sp?) (electrical pump part), but we want a check that worth for the part and labor, so I can buy new dishwasher, rather than patch the problem with extra money from my pocket plus check from Choice Home Warranty. Home Warranty has no problem to issue me the check, they said after 30 business days. Just negative part is waiting the check from the company longer, but overall, the service and response, and customer service are excellent… I know American Home Warranty issued the check faster. I don’t mind to wait a longer, that why I marked 3 on repair/replacement service for length of waiting period, as long I can get new dishwasher.
We switched to choice at the end of August 2009. Their pricing was considerably lower than our current company who we had been with for four years. Thirty seven days later, our air conditioner did not circulate cold air. A technician was sent out and found a leak in one of the valves, cost $400 to repair. The technician (nice guy) said this could not have been pre-existing because, we were super low on the coolent and because we experienced such a dramatic change in the air cooling all at once, it was a rapid leak. Choice stands firm that it was pre-existing and did not cover the repair. You would think that Choice would of looked into our previous home warranty plan to find out that there was never a claim in 4years with them on the air conditioning, or for any thing other than one small valve change in toilet! Four years never having had a problem, then all of a sudden on one Saturday – hot air. Choice blindly sticks with their excuse of it being a pre existing problem. I understand that their are dishonest people out there, that’s why they should check with our previous warranty company to see if we had any air conditioning claims with them. The house is only 9 years old! Give me a break, they did not give us- honest people the benefit of the doubt and offer some kind of resolution. I wish I never tried to save on the yearly fees and would of stayed with my original company. Unless they are somewhat flexible and do something about this, I’m going back to my original company and will tell all to please stay with who you already have.

3p.m. water gushing from supply line on toilet. Luckily there was a shut off valve. Reparman here by 9 a.m. next morning. No problems at all.
Made the claim repair man called fixed the problem no hassles.
I am happy with service. Technician came the same day and fixed the washer. I also had a clog in sink and they sent someone else out and he came the next day and fix that too.
My first claim with Choice went extremely well. The tech was prompt and very knowledgable. I’m pleased with the services I received to date. The follow-up and constant contact with CHW was also great. Thank you!

I was extremely pleased with Madison Plumbing. The tech arrived on time, fixed the problem and was extremely professional. I have to wait until the “seal” dries (48 hours) before we can test the shower to make sure it doesn’t continue to leak but we have several showers so this is not an inconvenience. This is a very good company with an extremely pleasant staff. The receptionist was also very professional and courteous.

Your customer service was wonderful, however, the service provider was not. One technician never showed up. The second one assigned, did not show up for the first appointment, made another one on Monday and did not show up, made another on Tuesday for 9-12 and called at 11:45 to say they had a flat tire and when it was repaired they would be there. They arrived, checks the outlets and repaired them. When I arrived home and tried to replug my TV into the outlet, it sizzled and shorted out in my bedroom, all three plugs and shorted out my Direct TV DVR. Left them a message and have not received a call back.
We reported the problem one afternoon, and the next morning the plumber arrived and fixed it.
Unfortuantly I am a disabled army vetern in a wheelchair and can no longer do the majority of task that come with owning a home. Therefore, I rely greatly on outside assistance. From your timely response to the more than satisfactory completion, the technicians and your service was superb. I’ll be recommending your service to all my family and friends. Thank you!
I was very pleased with the customer service. I received a follow-up call from customer service to confirm that the service vendor had scheduled an appt. He was slow to respond because the calls for service were going to his cell phone instead of office ,according to him. He did schedule an appointment and completed the job.

I made the mistake to purchase 6 policies with Choice Home Warranty. Every time I call for Service, they always have an excuse but the repairs are never covered. I even had second opinions from differnt vendors showing the cause of the repair needed, and they still stick to their excuses. The vendors Choice have show up to get the $45 dollar service fee and leave. I don’t know if it is because Choice does not pay them well or what. I am copiling a list of the repair requests I make to Choice and the second opinions from different vendors. Eventually, I will hire a lawyer with proof of all the requests and file a big lawsuit against choice. They are not honest people and stick to their lies nomatter how much proof you show them.
I purchased a home warranty through Choice on Oct.27, 2009.
Unfortunaltely, the Monday after Thanksgiving, I awoke to a huge water puddle in front of my refigerator. I called Choice and they sent a tech out the same day. The tech informed me it was the “brain” or the electronic control board. I asked what would cause this and he told me it was an electronic part and could last 5 days or 5 years. When the reaparman called Choice to get the approval, Choice DENIED THE REAPAIR, claiming it was “pre-existing” damage. They also asked the tech if he looked around to see if I had another refrigerator I was using. I WAS SHOCKED! I put this warranty on my appliances, because I just had to repair a washing machine, that I couldn’t afford to fix, I had to borrow money from my mom. I am a widow with 2 children, and cannot afford to fix my refigerator now. So until I can save enough money, I am living out of a cooler with ice. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S office, and the BBB. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF THE SCAM ARTISTS, THEY WILL ROB YOU.
I purchased a Choice warranty a little more than a month ago and wound up having to call today on two items (of course because around here it could never be just ONE!). My 4 yr old stopped my toilet drain with lord-knows-what but adding Drano on my own only produced styrofoam (?) back in the bowl. And my heat decided to quit on my second level. Anyway, I called Choice this morning. Within literal seconds of my call I rec’d an email so fast with my claim information I accused the phone rep of being psychic for my heat issue. The rep explained that they did not have an immediate assignment for the plumber but would call me back w/in an hour or so and also email me the information. I called the heat/air company and they had an appt for me tomorrow with a thankfully short window time 9who wants to wait ALL day!). I got busy and though “Oh I’ll call the plumber later (Thankfully, we have 4 toilets!)” At 4 pm this afternoon, never having called anyone directly for service, there was a plumber in my driveway who had me snaked out and ready to go in 5 minutes. In fact it took ME longer to put crate my pack of large dogs than it did for him to get my drain snaked and wait for the check. My ONLY complaint was that I wished he’d have called first so the dogs would have been handled. I think I am still in customer service SHOCK. This was only my first time using them and I’m sure you can’t base everything on this one time but I was impressed enough to write this review.

We filed a claim 12-5-2009 because our heater went out. Long story short they denied our claim because they said the unit was not \’properly maintained\’ because we did not have any documentation to send them showing that the system had be serviced every season since we owned the house. The system is 25 years old! Obviously it has been maintained or else it would not have lasted this long. I am an MBA and my husband is a PhD, we keep excellent records/receipts for everything in our home, but never once have we heard of \’seasonal maintenance\’ for a heating system. We are tired of insurance/warranty companies taking our money and not performing the service when we need it. We have paid $500 in premiums/service fees during the 4 months we have had this warranty, and they told us that since we do not have a \’long enough history\’ with them they need all of our maintenance records for the heating system (which is just their way of finding a reason to deny the c
laim). We sent them 2 years worth of service receipts to show the repairs that had been made to the system and they said that was not enough, and that we only sent them documentation for when the system broke, not documentation for how we maintained the system. What is the point of buying a warranty if they are not going to fix items when they break? To add insult to injury the weather is 20 degrees which constitutes emergency service, but after 4 days we still have no heat! We have only had this warranty 4 months and Choice Home Warranty has already breached the contract by not performing emergency service. We filed a complaint with the BBB requesting our heat be fixed or our $500 premium/service fees refunded and this warranty cancelled so we can find a reputable company that will actually perform the service we are paying for!
Choice Home Warranty is a SCAM. People be careful when you sign with them. My Sincere advise for all of you out there is not to do business with them. They are totally illegal.
Choice Home Warranty screwed me big time. The guy who sold me this policy was so nice promising everything until he gets my business. His name is Brad Collins, he said that they will fix any problem that we report with no questions asked. Here is what happened to me.
On Oct 19th 2009 I signed up with these guys. As of last week my heating furnace started making some noise when I turn it onn, which I reported to Choice Home Warranty. I never had any problems before with any of my appliances. Then a technician came to my home & saw the heating furnace (infact he told me that I should pay him first before even he touches my furnace, that is what has been told to him by Choice home warranty, which is fine.) and immediatly he said that the inducer motor has gone bad. This is due to normal wear & tear in the bearings of the motor, then he left. After 2 days I got a call from Choice Home Warranty saying that they will not process my claim unless I provide them the maintainence records (they never mentioned about this when you sign up for the warranty – This is FIRST SCAM). Then I faxed all my maintainence records for the furnace and couple days later they contacted me saying that they will not pay for the claim. That means they will not fix my furnace, the reason stated is that they will not fix any NOISE coming from the furnace. That means basically they will not pay any for any of your complaints/claims. I spend couple hours on phone with their customer service dept, Authorization dept etc.. arguing that when some moving/rotating part in a motor goes bad it does make noise. If it had not made any noise I guess I wouldn’t have come to know the problem itself. What kind of a company who denies the claim on this ground. So basically they are telling me to wait till the heating furnace stops working and then they might fix it(not 100% sure on it), but if my furnace fails, then I have to suffer in this cold during this winter. CHOICE HOME WARRANTY is the WORST company and it is a SCAM, not legitimate business.
Hence, I filed a company with BBB (better Business Bureau) on how they are cheating people. Hence guys, please be careful when you sign up for something like this.

I bought a warranty from this company in January 09. called them in March 09, because my oven was not working, so after four calls my oven is still not fix and I also called for my air conditioner to be fix and that is also not fixed. This company is running a scam and is taking advantage of innocent consumers. I called the company to complain and they said something about pre existing conditions. I advised them that the appliance was about two years old, but they still did not want to fix it. I got upset and told them I was going to contact an attorney and that’s when Mr. Reed call me an back and stated he could give me back about $117.00 on my contract. I told him I will be contacting an attorney, but he did not care. He is an arrogant prick and does not care what you do. Please do not buy a warranty from this company they have so many complaints against them with the BBB.
Not worth getting coverage from this company. They find loopholes and exploit customers. Really bad business practice.
I bought a warranty from this company in September 09. I called them in October 09, because my oven was not working properly, a technician came out to fix the oven;Informed me that the oven was repaired. Later, I went to use the oven and receive an error message. I called Choice to informed them of problem. I received a call from a customer service representative informing me that they would send a technician back out to resolve the problem. I received a call the next day from the customer service rep; informing me that they were not going to cover the repair, after they informed me that they would and said something about pre existing conditions. I requested a refund, I was told a supervisor would call. I did not hear back from a Supervisor for a week. A Supervisor named, Mr. Reed call me back. Mr. Reed was very unprofessional and arrogant; lack customer service skills. I am still waiting for a refund.
Please do not buy a warranty from this company they have so many complaints against them with the BBB.
I was a little skeptical reading other responses from this company until I recently had a problem with my water heater. The water heater was 19 yrs old and in good shape, had minimum rust and was leaking water from the bottom. I called Choice and they sent the claim to the review board (not sure who they are) and I was told that the it was not covered under their warranty due to it not holding water in the holding tank, which is not covered under the warranty. Be sure to look at your policy, this company will do anything to avoid a claim if possible.
I am trying Choice on the home I recently moved to. I have had another home warranty service for many years but thought I’d give Choice a try because they offered me a great deal. I do need to verify my deductible though, the rep told me it was 45.00 but I noticed on the feedback sheet just sent it said 50.00.
I called about my well yesterday and as another person commented I literally had an email from Choice confirming the service technician. I did have to call back because they assigned me a plumber vs a well specialist but they took care of it immediately and I had a call within a few hours from a well company.
The well technician was here today and we believe he has taken care of the problem. I had positive results in less than 20 min. Hopefully, we will have positive results for the work that was performed and no other money due. The young man from the well service was very professional and made recommendations on how we can be proactive taking care of our well.
I am impressed with their customer service reps over the phone so far but this is my first request through Choice. I hope that any future repair work will be handled as promptly and professionally as this was.

I am very dissatified with the services with Choice Home Warrany because I do not feel that my heating service was taken care of during the coldest days of the winter, we had no heat in the house. I feel that we was given the run around on this order. I am not happiy about my services. I feel that with an emergency situation was not taken care of in a timely. I was very inconvencienced with my husband, two children and two pets during this time. Each day I had to call and talk to someone to find out the status. If 2 technichians was needed I feel during my emergency both should have been sent out on the same day and the request that Choice ask of us to send a copy showing proof of our Heating/AC unit being serviced be faxed on the same day.

Microwave stopped working (ugh, use it daily). Called Choice at 7am. first name of appliance repair said they couldn’t come until Monday (today is Thursday). Called Choice and asked if they could give me another company. Gave me AAA Able Appliances. Called them, and they came this morning, fixed the problem with no fuss, no muss. Paid my deductible and made my lunch in the microwave. Excellent job!
I had the gas pipe leak in my house. The gas company came to check and shut down my gas.
With the urgency of having children in the house, it’s very difficulty to live without gas.
I called CHW, they gave me the phone numbers of several contractors that not wanting to work for warranty customer. Each time, I have to wait for an hour before calling the contractor just to get disappointed result. The contractors are either not working in my area or not willing to work with Choice Home Warranty customer due to not getting paid. Then call CHW back to have the same problem repeat over and over again. I even begged them for urgency, but they never care.
Two days later, I can’t hold any more and called a local plumber company to fix the problem costing me $4500 out of pocket.
I called back CHW asking for the reimbursement, they keep transfer me around for 7-8 times after getting my information. Then a gentlement finally promised to email me a claim form but never did.
I called, email with cc to JMoss (the man claimed to be CHW president), and add message in the claim status but still no response.
On their web site stating a-Ok with onlinebusinessbureau.com, but that bureau is a scam itself. I contacted that site to complaint about CHW but nobody bothers to look at my complaint. I then google search just to learn that onlinebusinessbureau is a scam.
The serviceman is unable to access underneath the dishwasher for repair. He is requesting that a cabinet maker remove a wood panel before he can replace the pump. I would have preferred someone who could have taken care of everything himself.
I have never written a review about a company in my life, but I just had to come and write about my experience with Choice Home Warranty. They replaced my heating unit when it broke down last week, and it was quick and efficient. The people were friendly and hepful and the experience could not have gone any better. I am very happy with Choice, especially Jessica. I am definately a lifetime customer now.
I had a heat issue recently and ti was taken care of promptly. The company was very efficient and seemed to really care. I think it is very hard to find companies like that these days, and just wanted to say that I am happy with my “choice” in choice!
Avoid this company like the plague. Did not honor warranty when heater broke and said we had rust in the unit and corrosion. I have two invoices from a repairman I called out and one they called out. Both stated to me my 15 yr. old unit had normal wear and tear. I have filed with the BBB and the NJ Attorney General’s office. When my husband told the manager we had pictures of the broken heater unit to prove there was NOT rust he stated “how do we know the pictures are of your heater?” We my husband told the manager that both repairmen stated our unit had normal wear and tear he said “You could have paid them $20 to say that.” Save your $$$ and stay away from this company.
This is the first time I have used this company. Customer service was excellent. Prompt with setting up the service and follow up. Repair service for my Sub Zero was the same day I telephoned. They were highly professional and fixed the problem.

Since my emergency repair (hot water heater leaking water through my ceiling) happened when the authorization department was closed (4:45 on a Friday afternoon), I was inelligible for reinbursement. I had multiple representatives tell me it would not be a problem, but $1400 out of my pocket later, I’d say it was a problem. One claims rep told me that I should have just had my water turned off for the weekend until they could get someone out there. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Overall I am pleased with this company in comparison to some bad ones i had in the past. The only problem was that the guy didnt come out and do the repair the same day, he was here 8 am the morning after i made the claim. But besides that it was quick and smooth, just like the salesperson said it would be.
My overall experience with this company was pleasant. They were on courteous, on time, and took care of my heating problem quickly. I was with national home warranty which was a nightmare, and also with american home shield which covered nothing. As long as everything stays good with Choice Home Warranty, I will renew for sure.
This is my second year with choice home warranty, we have only had to use their services twice, and both times their response times exceeded my expectations. I have had other home warranties in the past, but choice is by far the best that i’ve used. They know the way.
DO NOT BELIEVE ANY OF THE GOOD REVIEWS they are posted by company personnel. This company has FFFFFF rating with BBB. Worst rating you can have. They take your money for home warranty and have absolutely NO intention of solving your repair issue.Horrible customer service. Rude, keep you on hold, give you a run around for days and days. I just recently purchased my home warranty and within two weeks had a repair need. I filed my claim online and within a few hours received a phone call from the vendor indicating they could have a man out within the hour. Now that is what I call service.
I had a a contractor sent out by choice home warranty to fix my furnace in November that was not working in below freezing weather. The contractor found out right away what the problem was and had the new part on the truck and installed it and the furnace was running very well.The problem started when he went to call for auth. thru choice home warranty, oh no it was friday evening and every body had gone home for the week end.The contractor took out the part and left and said he would try to get auth the next week. The next week came and choice auth. the repair and I re booked the app. for the first part of the week, by the way did I mention it was below freezing. By the first of the week I had heat again, but now the contractor is billing me for the repair, says choice will not pay him since November. I had another bad situation with choice at one of my other houses also with the hvac system. I called because my ac would not come on. I should have thought there would have been a problem because I had only had the contract a few months, but when I switched home warranty co. choice sales rep told me since I already had coverage that everything would be covered,these guys must work on commission,but back to the ac unit. The contractor came out and looked around and said the unit needs to be replaced. I am not an expert but it had been working before with out a problem. The contractor called choice and they had a little talk and I could hear the contractor listening to choice and then he left, I later received a call from choice and they said they would not cover the replacement of the unit. I called the coustomer service and talked to a very rude man would told me I must be crazy to think that they would give me a new ac when I knew when I signed up with choice that it was not working. I could not believe that some one that I paid money to would be so arrogant. The more I thought about it the more it made me mad, so I called another company to come out and check out the ac. I was ready for the same conclusion as the first contractor that wanted $6,000.00 to fix it. I was surprised when he told me that a switched was turned off,which he turned on and my ac has worked all last summer. The rep. from bge also sold me a service contract for the ac and heating system. I think choice and the contractors are in collusion with each other. I have had some appliances fix and some of the time that went well
I took a contract with this company over the phone after being told that the good deal they were offering was good for that time only and that once I got the paper work I could cancel if I wanted to. I had this charged to my credit card knowing that the law allows a cancel within 30 days. I researched the Company and learned that the BBB had given this company an “F” rating. I emailed then on Jan 14, 2010 to cancel the agreement. They telephoned that they would cancel. They sent me an email saying thy would. A week later I got the hard copy in the mail and again sent an email asking them to cancel – they emailed back that they would. It has been almost 2 months since they charged my credit card acct and I am being charged interest as they have not reversed the charges. I never carry a balance on my acct. I am now having to contact the State Insurance Commission, the credit card company, BBB and the FTC to get resolution on this matter that should never have occurred. Do not do business with these people. There is a reason the BBB rated them F.
I just had my first claim with this company and it was so easy. They helped me from start to finish. It was quick and the contractor was great. The company is highly professional and I will recommend them to friends and family.
Overall my experience with this company was great. They repaired my oven and it works as good as new. The only problem is that one time when I called I had to wait about a minute and a half on hold until someone answered. Maybe I am being to rough, but I was formerly in the army and expect everything to be perfect.
I was with another warranty company before but they got ridiculous with their out of pocket service charge so I started shopping around. Got my Choice policy back in Feb 09, just renewed as I have had no problems with Choice in 09- I only had one claim in 09 for a plumbing stoppage- a tech was assigned and came over at my earliest convenience (how nice for us!) I just recently made my second claim – my fridge was leaking water from the freeze- tech assigned immediately, I didn’t even have time to call the tech- he contacted me- how wonderful!! set up appt for the next day- he gave me a window and came over as soon as he could – assessed- explained in detail my issue and then fixed the issue- he was done in under 1 hour – now that’s great service- he was courteous and I was very satisfied with my experience. While I was waiting for the tech- Choice called to find out if all was well (wow!)and then today after the job called and sent an email for feedback (now that is what I call taking your business seriously-Kudos again!) I read some of the reviews and in my opinion it seems as if some of the people are not reading their warranty coverage until something goes wrong and then getting pissed off when something is not covered- it is all spelled out in the policy that is sent- people just need to be informed consumers when shopping for anything- don’t assume anything and read your policy – I think if Choice would maybe counsel potential customers on how home warranties work (as most people have unrealistic expectations)- they would not have some of these issues and be more happy customers.

I purchased this home warranty to cover my 20 year old home. In the 9 months since purchasing it, I have paid $1500 in plumbing repairs. Choice has denied every claim. When I inquired about exactly what plumbing systems they do cover, I was told by John the floor supervisor they cover everything in the walls, but nothing cosmetic like faucets. The plumber who diagnosed the problem told me he would have to remove shower tiles to get into the wall to replace parts. When I told John, the plumbing problem IS in the wall, he replied, “well we don’t cover everything in the walls.” This company is CROOKED!!! What scammers! I’m contacting the BBB next. Even the plumbers in the area hate this company. Choice does not cover what they say they will and they don’t cover what other warranty companies commonly cover.
Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I have posted my “story” on Angie’s list and suggest everyone stay away…the company is great at taking your money but lousy at providing service.
I am very very disspointed at this. My first 2 claims were never completed. No service at all. Pathetic contractors did not even show up tp their appointment. I have made 3 calls to cancel my policy and get my money back, still no response from the management.
Overall experience was pretty good. When I first called I was told that a certain plumbing company would respond but the next day. I called the plumbers (they were supposed to have called me to set up appt.) but they said they wouldn’t drive “all the way out” to Warrenton at all. I called Choice back. The next day they found another plumber. He came out first thing in the morning and took care of the problem. He was very polite and did a good job.
claimed for diswasher and they cancelled the claim because the technician mentioned that the dishwasher has not been used for a while and they cannot repair it nor replace it with a new one.
If it doesnt cover the dishwasher then what is the purpose of having an appliance insurance.
I put 4 houses under contract with Choice Home warranty, and I am completely unsatisfied with Choice Home warranty.
Some of the specific questions I asked the Choice sales rep were about old plumbing, and old appliances, and was was told that neither would be a problem. this is a lie I was denied a plumbing claim because of old lines.
Choice has no repairmen under contract in Morgan City, so I have had to use their reimbursement system, which you need special authorization for repairs over $100.00, (including the service call fee). They have only one contact no. to handle all problems. The wait is usually ten min. to talk to a service rep,and if they have to transfer you, it will be another 10 min. Also they will not transfer you to a supervisor. Repairmen also have to go through this process, to get authorization for any amount over $100.00.
Most recently I have been denied for a washer that is out of warranty, It took me a about 2 weeks to get a repairman to come out, because the 1st repairman I called said they would look into the matter,and call me back, but never did. When I had a 2nd repairman finally come out, they diagnosed the problem, and gave me an estimate of $680.00 Choice home warranty would not authorize the repair, and the Choice service tech told me they would replace the washer. When I called Choice back to find out about replacing the washer,I was told that the claim was under review, and Choice had contacted a repairman to give a 2nd opinion, that repairman was the 1st I had contacted, who never returned my call. After another week that repairman contacted me, and told me he could not work on my brand of washer. I immediately called Choice, and was informed that the claim was under review again, because someone had determined that he problem had to be a manufacturers defect, (how this was determined I have no idea). I was so mad, I told the Choice rep We should end this call before I start cussing, and I wanted someone in authority to call me back.
After 15 mins. I was calmed down, and called Choice back. This time I was informed that the claim was already denied, because of the manufacturers defect determination
I have still not talked to a supervisor or figured out who determined the problem was a manufacturers defect. My experience is that Choice Home Warranty Lied to me at purchase of warranty, and went out of their way to deny 3 of my legitimate claims, (2 are documented here). Also their contact,and claim handling system is terrible. I have not found any way to contact supervisors, review my claims, or dispute denials.
The company assigned promptly scheduled an appointment the next business day an a technician arrived ahead of schedule and fixed the problem. Very happy with the results this far.
Choice Home Warranty has an ‘F’ rating on the BBB.org website. In my experience, they deserve it. This company exists only to take your money. This was my experience:
I called them regarding a plumbing leak. They called a contractor who was suppose to call me but never did. Then, to their credit, they followed up with me and then called another contractor. No explanation as to why the original contractor didn’t call. Then, I received a call from the other plumber who I met with. He said that he would come back out once he gets approval from Choice Home Warranty. I didn’t hear anything for about three to five days. So I called the plumber. He said that he sent them the quote but they didn’t approve it. No one bothered to call me. So I call the company and asked what was going on and the rep. said that she would check on it and get back with me. I didn’t receive a call back. So I called again and told spoke with another rep. This time I explained that the leak was STILL leaking… At this point, I explained to the rep.- who was giving a me a song and dance about why I hadn’t heard anything- that I was NOT going to be patient any longer and that they’d better call that plumber and approve his price right now! And then they did. All of this ended up taking at least a week. I think it was longer. Then the plumber disappears for three for four days. No call. No nothing. I called him directly several times. Then I called Choice and complained. I spoke with a lady there who apologised and assured me that she would deal with it and call me back. There was no call back. Eventually I get a call from the plumber that he had fallen and gone to the hospital but was okay now and could come in a few days or so. When he came he offered to re-caulk a portion of the caulk around my tub if I would go and get it from the store. I went and got it and after he’d finished and left, I realized that he kept the caulk. It was just the icing on the cake.
I never had a follow-up from Choice. Not once in this hole affair. Not even after the service ticket was completed to see if I was satisfied. Please do not use this company and spread the word.
I just had my washing machine fixed by Home Choice Warranty. I called in my claim and they assigned me to a repairman on the spot. The person that showed up to my home was right on time, he was also very nice and knowledgable. Great experience and very happy with the services.
I called at 9am to report that my dryer was not working. Choice sent a technician in 30 minutes. They diagnosed my dryer, Choice authorized the repair and it was fixed in an hour. This was the fastest service I have ever had.
