Although I was skeptical, my wife was able to say I told you so when we had our central heat system fixed in our home. Secure home sent for the fix the same day that we called and covered what would have been an expensive repair for us. Thanks for all the help!

I suggest never use this company. Right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. After a month of my claim, I was told that they cannot replace the part but they will pay some towards new unit purchase. I was stupid enough to pay upfront for three years, some salesperson talked me into buying 3 years policy. It is completely useless policy. They will not cancel my policy unless I pay them a cancellation fee. No repair company is willing to work with this so Called Warranty company because of distrust. I had a good claim experience with secure home warranty this past week. I called the very kind customer rep to bring attention to the faulty part in my electric box that wasnt allowing for a breaker switch to pass through. The rep sent me an electrician the same day and also told me that I wouldn't have to pay any out of pocket charges which was fantastic

I purchased this home warranty April 2016 because I was told I would be getting the same service and guarantee as my hold warranty company but for less. So after going over the details on the phone and it was the same I took the package paying up front instead of monthy payments. I had also recommended my mom and sisters as well all to pay in advance until I actually had to have service and called on Dec 21 2016 for two different situations.( mom and sister's old contract ended Dec 31 with there company and they planned to switch to this company Jan 2017) My freezer was not working and the food was thawing. and there was a water leak in my furnace room coming from the ceiling from which there is a mast bathroom backed up to a hall bath above the furnance room. we could see the tub through the ceiling. I told them about the freezer and explained what I could see with the flashlight above the furnance was the tub and water leaking then pouring out of the ceiling in several places. also in the mast bathroom above it appears to have a leak coming from the faucets. I was told they both would be taken care of with 24-72 hours. I expressed the urgency of both ( being scared of ruining the meat in the freezer and water damage/mold from the leak. Christmas eve I revd a call after dark late evening from the freezer tech that he was far away about 1 hour but would try to come I told him we was packing to go away for the holiday and the food was all spoiled anyway now , told him i had placed the service call on the 21st . he said he knew but had been overloaded with calls and was very sorry. I told him we would call when we returned Jan 1st. before the call on the late evening of the 24th Dec We never received a call from anyone for the leak. we had been emptying buckets of water for several days so we turned the water off to the house and left for the holidays late Christmas eve. We returned and started calling reference the leak and they thought it was taken care of. The sent someone the next day . Very nice man but missed diagnosed the leak thought it was from the toilet in master bathroom after emptying the cabinets, filling the tub, sinks and toilet with water adding food color and continuous draining them and not having it leak he decided it was 99% the ring seal around the bottom of the toilet in the master bathroom. and was sure it had to be that and perhaps the water was between the floor and the ceiling he said thats why we could see no food coloring as it was not outgoing water but water coming into the house. he replaced the seal and left after we paid our fee. the next morning we saw were the water had been leaking again all night downstairs same spot- wet the floors all out in the hallway. we called and he came back and traced it to a hall bath which we never use and the door was closed where the screws behind the toilet tank were worn and caused the leak and it was traveling to the furnance room through the base of the floor. so he calls it in and is told it's another fee because he had already fixed the issue and it's a different issue now . aftert arguing with the warranty company I was told they would take care of it. that was 3 days ago nothing yet. the water is turned off in that bathroom and the problem is still not fixed. carpet is almost dry in the hallway. also we where told because we had told them from the fisrt service call that the faucets were leaking they were covered and would be repaired and now they say that's another call and fee as well. So I 'v been on the line with the individual that sold me the contract and he says this is the best there is out there and that i cannot find a better company , says i can cancel my contract but there will be a fee and hung up on me. now about the freezer the tech has spoken to us several times but has been trying to schedule us when he can do others in the area as he says its a long drive to come for one job. . so i receive a text from him stating that he is working with the other people to schedule their repairs. then he said it's the same as ours he knows just what it is .and would like to do us at the same time. i receive the text the following day and it says he can be here between 1-3 or after 6pm well first we got the msg a day late after he sent it. and although my husband and i where home all day but hadn't heard from him then he just shows up just at dark and im inside preparing dinner and my husband finishing up in the yard to come eat. so it's to late and he left and haven't heard back yet. Then I get a call from the warranty company saying that the freezer is not covered because it in need of 6-8 things of freon based on the diagnosis of the tech they sent. I ask when.. They said yesterday. I told them no one had looked at my freezer and how could they make a descision of the problem without looking at it. they insisted that he had diagnosed it and finally told me they would call me back. no call yet. Im on the phone with them now when I asked to speak to the individual that sold me the contract I was told it 's not going to matter because its a different issue. It's like they are dead from the neck up. RECOMMEND NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS WARRANTY COMPANY. Trying to see how i can cut my losses and move on But not without reporting them to Better business Center in the US. This is one of the worst Home Warrenty service if you are looking for. I called for a claim, after waiting more than 15 minutes on phone, customer service picks up and takes my info. They said I would get a call within an hour but after 10 hours I get an email saying they recieved my claim. 30 hours later I get an email saying one of the repair shop close to my house will call for an appointment but never got a call. Now, this is my 5th day and nothing has happened.

I had purchased my elite plan with secure home approx. 10 months ago. Here's why I will probably renew when my annual subscription comes full cycle...my handful of claims have paid for themselves, and more impressively service has been done on my expensive Wolf cooking range. Also the other warranty companies I tried out were nothing to compare to secure home.

They helped to fix my central vacuum system that wasn't responding to buttons I would press on the control pannel. Secure sent out a learned technician who knew to handle his own customer service, he was very kind and neat. The central vaccum was fixed the same week

Secure Home Warranty is not a reputable company. Before you buy their product they will promise you golden mountains. Don't trust them. Read their fine print because they will not cover 100%. If you have an expensive repair FORGET IT. We had a problem with our A/C unit at the end of July. They did not have a technician to do the diagnoses and repair and told us to find a local technician to take care of the problem. We did find a technician who diagnosed the problem and replaced the compressor for $1870. We went through turmoil when we sent our bill for reimbursement. They offered to pay us as little as they can, even after we presented 3 years of maintenance records on our A/C unit. We filed a complaint and after that Secure Home Warranty didn't even honor their final low reimbursement offer we received from them. Instead they wanted to refund the policy in full, 8 months after we bought the policy. What a SCAM.

The bottom line is: Don't do business with them. Save yourself the time and money. Go with reputable companies to avoid the headache. view less

There was a prong sticking out in my breaker box (electric circuit) of my home that was preventing one of the switches from fitting on. Secure warranty sent us a kind electrician who came prepared and already had new parts. He bent the prong back to place and replaced the new switch to our first floor lighting power

I was thrilled when I received my reimbursement check in the mail yesterday for the repair on my sump pump. The repair took place about 2 weeks ago and it was all fairly straightforward, I was just waiting on the check to arrive so that now I know that they are trustworthy and stick to their policy

I live in Indiana and managed properties in the state, what shocked me about Secure was that they were willing to work with all of my properties regardless of the different tenants that rent out. The claims work as follows: my tenant calls Secure if they come across any problems in the house/unit if it's a big repair then Secure reaches out to me to see what the best option is. But for small claims like a faucet fix or a microwave fix I don have to get involved and am covered which saves me a lot of time. We have great understanding and plan to continue this good relationship with Secure view less

Okay so the way I found out about this servie was from a sale they had around presidents day and I booked an elite plan with extra coverage on pool and a few other apps. I made my husband call in recently to see if we could get our annoying ceiling fan to work and the claim turned out great!! Very good customer service and good people on the phone. They didn't put me on hold for hours or days. I called for both the refrigerator coolant motor and my heating system. On the two claims it was a pleasant repair and good on the time of arrival as well

We had the worst plumbing crisis too close to holiday season and it was a life saver that Secure was able to respond so quickly. I decided I will be renewing my two year this coming february, I've tried the other companies and secure is most accomodating so far

I was on the fence with many different providers for a while before choosing Secure Home as my home warranty. I ended up sticking with Secure because they have overall convenience and are reliable. I'm not so great with computers either so its good for me to speak to someone over the phone like I did recently when I arranged for my cooking range to be fixed.
