I am out 599.95 paid in full 3/22/2010. The 1st time I needed them was when I discovered all the above comments after no answers. I am trying to file a BBB report, but I don’t have their address. Class Action is what is needed.

I purchased warranties for 3 homes from them. When I needed them, got no response.Tried every way. Contacted BBB all I got from them that they (shieldstar) can’t be reached. I lost close to 1,000. No one can help? I purchased Home warranty from Shield star on July 1st 2010 for THREE of my properties. Contract #101250NV 8416 pacific Fountain Ave,Las Vegas NV 89117 101128NV 8452 Boseck dr.#206 Las Vegas NV 89145 101248NV 8420 Pacific fountain Ave las vegas NV 89117 I paid in full with my credit card $299.99 EACH for a year contract. When my heater broke down in January 2011 I tried to call them, phone was disconnected. Web site didn’t work, Email did not work. A was stuck.Felt helpless. Had to hire someone to fix my heater. I panicked. My money is gone and I have no warranty. I am unemployed, the money is very tight.Just praying that nothing will happen. I live alone I have no one to help me out.That is why I purchased the warranty. Please Help me to get my money back from these crooks. I bought a policy for both myself and my elderly parents. My parents had 1 service call on their freezer. The job could not be completed that day. It never was completed. We tried calling the company, but the phones were shut off. I tried to contact them through their web ste, but no answer. After using the internet, I did come across a document from a court case making the company shut down. I honestly forget what state it was or the details. Al I know is that they are out of business and I am out about $1,000. I would love it if there was a class action suit – you could count me in.

I tried to contact this company as my AC was not working. Looks like the website and phone numbers and also email id’s none of these work. This company is a scam and I hope I will get my money back atleast the prorated money for the period that I am left with.

shieldstar home warranty ////CROOKS I paid up for for 3 properties can’t reach them, on the phone or email, they vanished. I am out for over 1000. No one is able to help. If someone find out how to get our money back,please let me know.

I had used the warranty package twice last year. Once for the dryer and the other for the Air conditioner. I received outstanding service within a timely manner.

Compamy will not pay it’s bills. Cannot get a hold of anyone at the number given. We performed the work in good faith now all we want is paid for the services rendered

If there is a class action suit, count us in. We were taken for $599.95 in May 2010 by Michael Vinci of this company. We haven’t submitted a claim, but our realtor alerted us to a concern about the company; so we tried to contact them without success.

I purchased a home warranty back in March 2010 and did not need their services until today. I called the 877 number and like many of the posters received the “all circuits are busy” message. Can anyone confirm if the company went bust? Has anyone been able to locate a class action suit for breach of contract? Please let me know if any of you have found a course of action.
