Home warranty is a complex insurance product. Unlike home insurance, it does not provide blanket coverage for all appliances. Pre-existing conditions and problems resulting from lack of maintenance of appliance are are generally not covered by home warranty companies. Home warranty sellers may not state these factors clearly, and this will create dissatisfaction among customers. Due to these factors, you will see many negative reviews here. |
Don't be intimidated by some negative reviews here. If you have maintained your appliances in good condition and go with a reputed home warranty provider, your coverage will be fine.

Such reviews are not likely to offer a balanced view and some of them could be fake reviews posted to promote or demote a company. It is always a good idea to check BBB ratings and make sure the company is licensed to do business in your State by contacting State Insurance Commission. Try to avoid paying annual premium and keep your cancellation rights

I called to buy a home waranty, & after several attempt, I got an agent, she took all info & stated that somebody from headquarter will call, but a week later nobody called. I tried to call again & I kept getting a message to leave my name & phone # & somebody will call me later (all agent busy).
& few days later I am still waiting.
I am glad I wasn’t waiting for a repair.
I made a claim for a washing machine that was 6 years old. I am very happy with this company . The washing machine was fixed the first time and has worked fine since.The tech was great and the service was fast and very good.Well worth the 39.95 per month for peace of mind. The repair would have cost 248.00 and all I had to do was sign the work order and it cost me not one cent for service call. Thanks UtilPro keep up the good work!!!!
