Absolutely the worst service. I purchased a lemon Whirlpool Refrigerator from Lowes in Oct of 2019. Within 2 months is had to be replaced because it was defective. They would not let me return it so I got the same one. I purchased the 5 year service plan with it and good thing as I have had multiple problems with it. Absolutely the worst service. I purchased a lemon Whirlpool Refrigerator from Lowes in Oct of 2019. Within 2 months is had to be replaced because it was defective. They would not let me return it so I got the same one. I purchased the 5 year service plan with it and good thing as I have had multiple problems with it. Although I have not had to pay for repairs the 3 week wait time for service is UNACCEPTABLE. In the past I have also waited no less than 2 weeks and up to 4 weeks for previous repairs. Now one can live without a washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher, and the water or icemaker in the fridge, BUT not the whole cooling system of the refrigerator for a long period of time. Fast forward 2022....Repair ticket #6. ( It's 3 years old) The whole refrigerator quit running, by the time we figured it out ( 2 days) we lost everything in the freezer and almost everything in the fridge. I called, they said they would put it through as an emergency, wait for repair to call, waited four days, called repair place myself, no one called them, earliest they could get to me would be Oct 20th. I have been living out of coolers since Oct 5th. The manager at Lowes contacted assurant and they are giving me a partial refund on the fridge that I will get in 10-14 days, however I have lost at least $600.00 worth of food (todays Prices). Assurant has a $300.00 reimbursement, (which was fine in 2019) but not now. So I had to research all the food, remember all the food as I didn't save it, and find the prices, create a list and email it. We purchased the extended warranty for our LG refrigerator from Assurant. The refrigerator quit working on August 3rd. We contacted Assurant 3 times before they noted the calls for a total of 10 phone calls and numerous emails. There is NO Service techs in our area and we are told they can’t find one. They lied to Nebra*** Furnit*** Mart by telling giving them a false phone number and not following through. They are the worst, there call center is in the phillipines and none of the operators could tell me the basic of who's court is the ball in, what was the next step and what did I have to do. We spent 2 months without a kitchen fridge while they messed around. You have been warned

4 appliances and 7 years with them, I'm being scammed with the repair of my refrigerator's ice maker. They're trying to minimize their expense by using a short cut and cheap way of repairing it. After 4 visits and 4 hour window each time it's still not repaired. I found out that on top of it the repair guy broke an important wire and covered it with a duct tape. My service is still on-going. I placed my call on 11/6/17. I have had 3 appts. cancelled by Whirlpool Factory Service either because they didn't have 2 repair people or damaged parts. Assurant is no help, because (according to Whirlpool Corporate) Factory Service no longer has a relationship with them. My dishwasher got damaged and they sent somebody to fix it, a very useless tech that after diagnosed the issue he went to get the part and never show up again, when called assurant to complain and see if they pressure the guy the only help they provided was calling the tech and setup app, which he missed again for a second time, they do not want to switch pr ..Read Full Review

Save your money. Unlike the excellent GE warranty service it replaced, they do not honor the terms of their contract on what is covered. And even when they do provide coverage, there can be long waits for service (2 weeks for a stove repair!) and bargain repair services where they do not know what they are doing. My lowest rating, and strong recommendations not to use them.

When I bought my washer/dryer at Best Buys they introduced my husband and I to Assurant Solutions. When I couldn't open the drawer to the soap dispenser I called for repair. The A&E service guy was on time and looked at the washer and he had to remove the drawer by force. He ordered the part and when it arrived in a few days he called me to let me know.
