We prepaid for 2 years for extended coverage including the pool, and 2 months in we filed our first claim. It took over a week to get a response, but they finally sent a repair person out who fixed the repair. Then 6 months later we needed to file another claim related to the original repair (the parts were now leaking) and they would not return our calls or emails. The company, as you can see, is a rip off. They take your money and disappear. You can't get ahold of them. You try to call them and you are on hold for hours with no reply or answer. You will lose all your money and you won't get service. It is a scam and a rip off. DONT EVER THINK OF BUYING INSURANCE THEM. I hope the company will close soon so, innocent people, like us, will no longer be ripped off.

This company is a FRAUD. We purchased the First Choice Full Coverage Plan +Pool Coverage and paid the whole year in advance August 29, 2012 in order to get the 13th month free. Keith R. FRAUD ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!! They took my money & disappeared! 2 yrs premiums paid upfront! No one will return a phone call! Never pay any company with a check!, you have no recourse!

I purchased a complete warranty plan and had an AC unit fail and we could not contact them either email or phone. THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF. I AM WARNING YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. One Year later and still no reply.....

I had this company since 10/12. I called in January for service and no one would call back. I contacted the BBB.org and they didn't respond. I called a few days ago and the number has been disconnected. Buyer Beware. Since then I have contacted the Attorney General of three states GA, DE, and CA. CAUTION!!! THIEVES!!! This company is a complete scam. Only person we ever spoke with was Paige - nice girl but never returned calls. I received phone calls from the contractor that Statewide would not pay them after numerous requests via phone and email. I wish I had read these reviews before I paid my 2 year premium in full. I bought the policy in April 2012 and I just needed their services and I have been calling the phone number and like everyone else, I had no success in talking to anyone. This is ridiculous. I am all for the class action law suit against them. I can not believe I paid over $600.00 to them for nothing.

I then tried to contact SWW by phone (always on hold, no call backs) and by email (no response). If you go to their website, I found only 1 phone # for the whole USA, and they don't answer it. I don't know how they stay in bussiness. I would love to see a class action law suit against them for their scams. I would definitely question any positive comments. I'm sure they were put there by the company to off set any of the negative ones.By the way, the disposal developed other issues later on which cost me another $286.00 to replace. ..View less

More weeks went by without contact before someone named Paige called. During the time they didn't call me, my A/C also stopped working. Paige promised to make it right and contacted a company that called about my A/C once for information and then disappeared. I have left several messages at this point with no response. Nobody made any effort to get my problems fixed and it has been almost a year at this point. In my view, SWW is a scam that just takes your money and doesn't fulfill any of their duties under the contract. Good luck contacting anyone and don't expect them to fix anything. The only reason I haven't sued is the unconscionably slanted contract that limits damages and venue. Hopefully my Attorney General will take action against this company. ..View less

We had a problem with our dryer, after this being our first claim we went ahead and contacted State Wide Warranty and a technician called the following day to set up an appointment. The tech has to get authorization to repair the dryer which was a little annoying considering it took off some time from the work. After a hour the work was approved and the dryer was fixed the following day being that the part had to be picked up. The rep at Statewide Warranty was very professional and really was there for me and rush things, At first I was a little bit skeptical going with statewide warranty, being that they were a company I have not heard of and seeing all of their reviews. But in the end they did come through as they said they would. We have been using the dryer for about a week now , so far so good. I have had a decent experience with SWW. My calls are usually answered and the tech always comes in a timely manner. All of my service requests were not approved, but the repairs that have been performed have been successful.

SWW--Statewide Warranty is a fraud, not a real company, I purchased 2-year policy from K. Goodman around May of 2012, when I needed a service call last month, no telephone response, no email response, they took my money and ran away. We need to file a class action lawsuit.

Wouldn't you know it, we had to file our first claim last week as our dryer went out. "congratulation, you are now first in line and your call will be answered by the next available agent" - ha what a joke. Can't rate them low enough as it is clear there is no one to answer the phone or respond to claims.
