Strucsure Home Warranty is a SCAM. Do not do business with them. Builders, do not buy a warranty from Strucsure - it's not worth the paper it is printed on, and you will be responsible to the homeowner. Homeowners, do not trust or accept a warranty provided to you by your builder if it comes from Strucsure. It's not worth the paper it is printed on. Here is how Strucsure's scam works. They take money from builders who want to "check a box" to provide a warranty to potential homeowners. Then, Strucsure sets up their whole system so they don't pay out. They just keep the money. Here's how they do it. First, their policies are written by nitpicking lawyers who make sure that there is a carveout restriction absolving Structure from paying for actual problems. Second, they set up their entire warranty claim process to be slow, difficult and arduous so homeowners give up. They make you pay $250 just to start a claim, and pay by mail by check. They are slow. Third, they get around do it, they hire an "independent" engineer who is totally in on the game. The "independent" engineer comes by to review your case, but they know who they are working for. If they don't put through a report that says your home's issue isn't covered because of one of the zillion nitpicking carveouts, the engineer knows they won't get future jobs from Strucsure. So the "independent" engineer files a lazy report that just finds the first nitpicking carveout that absolves Strucsure from helping you fix your problem. Wash, rinse and repeat, Strucsure plays out this scam over and over so they make tons of money and do nothing to help homeowners who were duped into their scam. Do not do business with Strucsure Home Warranty. ..View less
