BFS Maintenance Plan

Additionally, BFS customers can also buy another plan named Maintenance Plan, which provides routine maintenance for dishwashers, ovens, or any other household equipment. It includes the Deluxe Maintenance Plan, which is priced at $189.

BFS Silver & Gold Plans

The company has two different websites; where on the first website, it offers the plans mentioned above (Basic, Delux, & Premium), and on the second website, it offers two different plans, namely - Silver & Gold.

Coverage Limitations & Exclusions

BSF Home Warranty coverage includes specific limitations on each covered item. However, the company does not disclose these limits before purchase.

However, we found the following information upon further research and a thorough evaluation of the BFS contract.

If you have the Silver & Gold Plans, BFS will pay up to $1,500 for commercial appliances & Standard SEER option. The company may have separate exclusions for these plans; we recommend you carefully read the Silver & Gold Plans Terms.

Moreover, home warranty companies generally don’t cover damage from any kind of accident, abuse, misuse, fire, flood, windstorm, or act(s) of God. They also don’t cover damage from water, mold, mildew, fungus damage, insects, or rodents.

Also, BFS plans do not cover power surges or reduction issues as per its contract. The BFS Home Warranty coverage is limited to the perimeter of the dwelling and the interior of the residence.

The contract excludes any service or replacement provided by another company on a covered product without written authorization by BFS.
