Terrible customer service. At least an hour to get someone on the phone who actually kinda knows information your looking for get bounced from person to person connect u to the wrong dept constantly even the managers are clueless . My experience with the company has been a roller coaster in the past month. The heater was not working and they sent a technician who basically did nothing I have to say. Not even looked inside the furnace to see what is wrong. He took $60 and said that he will bring my rest $15 when he comes back. I didn't receive any follow up for a week. Another appointment was set up but I was told that i had to pay $45 again. This just pissed me up. I spoke to a representative about the issue, she said that she will send another technician and have the money waived. However no follow-up till a week. And you can only imagine what me and my sister were going through in this cold weather. Spoke to a representative again for a technician and told the issue again, she hanged the phone. My concern here with the customer service is you have one job to do, atleast do the job what you are paid for.

Now my story is taking a huge turn.

Finally I talked to another representative on 01/02/2018, she set an appointment with a new contractor for 01/03/18. His name is Rilual or Rilaal, couldn't read the name clearly on the service order invoice. Sorry if I spelled the name wrong. After weeks of freezing cold, he was like our SUPERHERO who came and fixed our heater. I really felt like good people exists out there who sincerely do their job to help other people. The company should be really PROUD to have him on their team. He will definitely bring lot of benefits to the company. After with so much disappointment and hopeful from previous representatives and technicians, I have to say that now I am not disappointed at all. He overcame everything. Weeks of stress, freezing cold is gone and it feels great to be inside the house. I wasn't home at the time of service but I did a follow-up with him on the phone and took his time and he explained everything thoroughly. I really appreciate what he did today. Horrible company. If they can find a reason not to pay anything they will use it. We had five different times we tried to use them last year and not one issue was covered for what ever reason they could find.

The service technicians provide an unreasonably large service window. 3-8pm when you have no heat or air conditioning is miserable. Another problem is that most components that will break on your appliances or other household systems are NOT covered by the contract, but they don’t tell you that when you sign up. It seems like a class action lawsuit waiting to happen.

I can't believe that a repairman showed up the same day I presented a claim. Ingram & Son arrived about 5:00 PM and found a screw stuck in the garbage disposal. It took about 10 minutes and the problem was dealt with. What service! Regards, Hugh Wilson

I am please to do this review because we had a heating failure on Dec 30th at 3pm st louis time, so I was quite pessimistic about fixing the issue before next tuesday at best!
However, the lady on the phone, after I explained the situation, filed manually the claim and contacted the technician, who already serviced us in the past. He was with us 90mn later and the problem was fixed 15mn after his arrival!
when there is 16F outside, you do not want to stay without heating for more than 2-3 hours.

Purchased warranty to cover home purchased 1+ year ago to cover appliances, etc., knowing they may need repair in the future, etc. When the time came, coverage was denied. All the advertising encourages warranty purchase even if the home or appliances are used and leads you to believe they'll be covered in the event of a failure; however, as expected, there is always the fine print where they deny the coverage...if this weren't enough, the first vendors sent out stole personal items from the home, the second one didn't really assess the situation and/or share the status/situation with us, and when given opportunity to hire own technician and get reimbursement, the company was rude to the service technician calling in...by and far a bad experience...doubt this will end up in the queue as it doesn't feed their narrative. view less

The tech who came on Friday, December 22, 2017 did a good job with the light fixture over my sink that needed to be fixed. He even changed a light bulb that was broken in another light fixture that was blown out in another light fixture. The light fixture that he fixed is back working again.

Just signed up with this company in the year of 2017 and I love them so far all of the service techs that have come out have been very professional and informative they usually come out within 1 to 2 days and when my heater went out they actually came out the same day within a matter of a couple of hours. The worst customer service. Not enough contractors because apparently no one wants to work with them. I would consider yourself lucky if a contractor ever shows.You should expect to be stood up more than once so don't cancel plans like I did to wait for a choice contractor. When a contractor finally showed for me after leaving me waiting more than one day, he looked at my faucet ,took the faucet with him, told me he needed to order parts and left. After that encounter I could not reach him for weeks. that same contractor told choice he fixed my pool pump when he never did. They closed the claim and when I called to try and get him back they sent someone new and proceeded to tell me that the pool pump was not covered and refused to acknowledge the texts and emails from the previous contractor stating they he had not fixed it yet even though they said he did. They told me they were not going to charge me the next months fee, that was a complete lie they make sure to charge every month no matter what. I canceled my policy and asked for a confirmation email, of course I am still waiting for it. I spent a ridiculous amount of phone time, energy and sheer torture with them. I recently switched from another home warranty company (AHS) where I had to wait 3 weeks for a requested repair--and when Sears finally came--they were wrong!! I called AHS to complain and they really were not helpful at all. So I decided to switch to Choice Home Warranty and am so glad that I did!! Unfortunately, I had an issue almost immediately after I took out the new policy on my vacation rental property. Choice Home warranty sent a company out quickly and this company (Premier Appliance) was WONDERFUL!! My shower valve broke in the open position and they said that they don’t cover that kind of mechanical issue. It seems to me that it would’ve covered, but I guess not.

while the customer service itself is great, the service providers (technicians) themselves are often less professional than necessary and I've had repeat visits required to resolve issues that they tried and couldn't repair. Also, too often I get a claim rejected based on one issue or other "not covered" by the policy, which becomes aggravating and frustrating after a few times.

I know this is probably more my fault than the company as I did not read the fine print before signing up. I have had 3 claims, 1 for a $50 disposal was covered and the other 2 were denied because I feel sure you did not want the larger expense. Once again, shame on me for not being better educated on my agreement.

Hi, I would recommend Choice warranty they have GREAT service and are very initiative to my needs for my home. The contractors who will not do a good job are dealt with and home is fixed ASAP.

The support I receive when I call is excellent especially today. I felt Cortell did an excellent job of reading the prior call notes to fill her in on what was happening so I didn’t have to explain myself again. She efficiently contacted the company and filled me in on what I could expect. She really was friendly and helpful.

It was a couple days before Thanksgiving and the temperature dropped. Time to fire up the furnace.
