Globe Home Warranty was a great help to me and my family. It is good that I am able to call someone that can help in certain situations. My AC stopped working and I have elderly persons living with me. The temperatures here have been awful and they were able to get a repair man out the same day. He changed some parts and spent almost 4 hours here and was able to get it fixed. I know it was expensive to fix it and we are on a budget so we are very happy with this company. It is a program that I would recommend to other people in my situation. view less

This was the first service call we have placed with Globe and it went well. Customer service was fine and the lady was very pleasant. A contractor called within the time frame they gave me and the job was completed satisfactorily. The contractor was professional and competent. Globe themselves acted in a timely manner in getting a contractor in contact with my husband and placed several follow up calls to both of us. I was also able to see the status of my claim by looking online so I knew what was going on. All in all it was a easy process to use the warranty and I have to rate them as satisfactory. view less

I am on a roll with warranties lately. I don't usually spend the extra money for the warranty but my view on them is changing. I recently had my air conditioner replaced through GLobe. My compressor stopped working and they were going to replace it but the whole thing was cheaper than the part so they just replaced it. It took a few days because it was a big job and they had to coordinate everything but it was worth it. I'm set for my AC for another hopefully 10 years in this house. On a side note I also had a warranty on a chain saw I bought a few months ago. I took down one tree and it started acting up - I got that replaced as well. Like I said - I'm liking the warranty right now. I might have to start spending the extra few bucks because they are paying off big time right now and I am seeing the value. view less

I can't say anything to bad because everything turned out okay. We called in late Friday for our toilet and they could not send anyone until Monday. Globe said they could not do it over the weekend but we have a larger family. Anywaaays - Luckily i have two toilets. We made due and they got here on Monday like they said though and they changed everything in it. It was fixed and the guy that came out was great. My situation turned out great with regards to Globe! I can see sometimes not everyone may have the same experience but I can honestly say they have been great with me. I had a water leak in my kitchen and it was showing up on the floor opposite the sink. It was not something that I could see or identify as far as where it was coming from. I contacted Globe and talked to a gentleman that went over their procedures and informed me that I would be contacted by a plumber. Sure enough, I received the call and he came out the next day. In the meantime I shut off the water to the home and only turned it on when I needed it. Very inconvenient so I was please to hear him knock on my door. The plumber seemed to have a good idea of what was going on and had to remove a bit of the dry wall to be able to complete the repair. Apparently there was a leak at an elbow and he made a simple repair. No more leak and the home warranty did what it was supposed to do. They even called me the next day to verify if the problem was solved and that I was Happy! view less

I went an entire week in 95+ degree weather without AC because they kept sending me on a wild goose chase to get paperwork for them to process the claim. Then in the end didn't cover ANY portion of the AC repair! The customer service was less than satisfactory, when they called to tell me they wouldn't be covering the repair they were very rude and had zero sympathy for the situation. i can say that this has been a good experience so far - washer conked out. the water in it really started to stink. i couldnt get it to drain. globe sent an applkiance person and he changed a valve and was able to get everything going in a coupel of hours. the warranty lived up to what it was supposed to do. it was worth the copay to get my washer back. everyone i spoke with at globe was great and they called me afterward to make sure everything was done. the appliance company was great. i cant think of anything to say that was bad about my claim. view less

I called Globe about my refrigerator not working. Nothing worked in it and it was completely warm. I had to pull all of my meats and put them in a cooler to save what I could. I called Globe and they acted very quickly. An appliance guy came out the following morning. A circuit board went bad and it was not something he could get easily. He didn't order the part to come back a few days later. He found one in Clarksville and drove over an hour each way to get the part. I appreciate his dedication and he fixed my refrigerator. He went out of his way to get me back to normal with a running refrigerator. view less

This week my oven started burning everything I put in it. I'm not that bad a cook so I know it isn't me. I contacted their claims department and informed Globe of my problem. The took down my information and a contractor came out to my condo a couple of days later. I paid him my $75 copay and he was able to repair the control. I let them know I have company coming into town for the Memorial day weekend and they were able to get it done. Its about to get a lot of use and I'm ready for the long weekend. I had an absolute nightmare scenario happen at my home last week and Globe acted quickly to fix my problem. I had sewage coming up in every bathroom in my home - every sink and every toilet! ABSOLUTELY disgusting. I have a family and no one could use the bathroom or sinks or anything. This was a very big, big problem and I called them for help. I was informed that this was considered an emergency - duh - and they would have someone out the same day. A plumber was out to my home, true to their word the same day and the cleared my main sewer line. We had a terrible clean up throughout the whole house when he left but at lease everything was draining! Unbelievable that it happened. I never had to deal with something like that before.

My name is Linda and I want to let everyone know what a great experience I have had with this company. I contacted them for a problem with my garage door opener. The door was not closing leaving my home open. Of course, I was scared as anyone can just walk into my garage and I have personal things in there. Also the door to my house from the garage is not the strongest door like my front or back door. I called demanding someone come out immediately and the person I spoke with took the time to calm me down a little and assured me that they would treat my problem as a priority. He asked me all of the details of my problem as well as I could explain everything to him.

He put me on hold and when he came back he let me know that a garage door repair person was dispatched and I would hear from him soon. Then he told me while we were on the phone together the process of closing my garage door manually so that I would be safe. When the repair man got to my home he replaced my opener and the problem was solved.

I appreciated the representative taking a moment to talk to me and walk me through the process of securing my house. To me this is what customer service should be and I am very happy with how everything happened. view less

My washing machine "ceased to do it's designed function" today so I got in touch with Globe. I spoke with a very knowledgeable representative who gave me a lot of good information about my home warranty, washing machines, service providers, ect..... Anyways - everything happened pretty quickly from there. A service provider was out on my next day off and he was able to repair it right then. i am very happy with what the home warranty has done for me. i had a plumbing leak that was showing up in my master bedroom. it was behind a wall so i shut off the water. the good folks at globe had a plumber out late that afternoon and the tech went into the wall and fixed the problem. i have some drywall damage which the warranty does not touch but they fixed the source of the leak. they did what they said they were going to do and communication was happening so I knew what to expect. its a solid service and worth having. view less

I have been with Globe for several years now. I actually know some of the representatives there now I have had to use them so many times. My home is older and I seem have more and more issues. It is tiring having to deal with everything that keeps on happening. Globe has been good though... They always try to help but they cannot help with everything. One good thing is their renewal price does not go through the roof. It pretty much stays the same year after year and they do not charge me more because of the number of problems I have had. My claim was submitted yesterday on my refrigerator. It started leaking water all over the floor and I was having to put towels under it to soak everything all up. The appliance contractor just left and I am very satisfied. He spent just over an hour here and had a part with him to fix the problem. He also cleaned up the area pretty well after it was done. He represented well and had a professional uniform and nice truck. He also called me when he was on his way. I have a load of wet towels to wash but my problem is solved! view less

We were offered a home warranty through the sellers of the home we bought. When our hot water heater exploded, we called Globe to ensure we followed every step needed to get reimbursed.

After we used a plumber that was sent to us (not one of our choosing), for a job we could have done on our own (because we wanted reimbursed) we were told that we could only be reimbursed HALF of the total cost per some BS explanation of a warranty contract we never saw.

Globe - you are the worst and I sincerely hope you run out of business soon. This is total crap. view less

My problem was handled quickly and relatively painlessly. I have been in my home for about 8 months and last week my water heater started leaking. I noticed some water on the floor coming from underneath the tank so I called up Globe. They asked me a series of questions and I submitted my claim. A plumber called me up that afternoon and we set up the appointment for the next day. He showed up a little late but was professional and apologized for the delay. I knew it had to be replaced and the plumber agreed there was no repairing it. The tech called Globe and let them know he had a new water heater in the truck but Globe did not want him to install theirs. Instead they set one to be picked up at a ware house down the street. They probably have set pricing they get water heaters for. Either way, the water heater is installed and we are all set. All in all the service worked well for me. view less

I use Globe for my vacation home in Tennessee. I have had them for many years. I am satisfied with their plan and service. Customers need to understand what they cover so read your contract. As long as you follow their procedures they will act in good faith. They do not cover everything but when it comes to the problems they do; they are pretty efficient and do what is needed to get the repairs completed. I am able to recommend this company. view less

Here is how it worked for me. I called with my shower leaking water. It was all the way turned off but still running water - not a lot - but enough. Globe sent a plumber and he showed up in the window he said. So that was good. I am too busy to play around with chasing appointments. Too many grand kids! He was working on it for about two hours. He called Globe and they went back and forth for a minute then he finished up. Everything worked again so it was fixed the next day.

This service worked good for me. I have giving 5 stars for them.

I found out about Globe because my sister had one and she was very happy with them. I ordered one and it did not start for 30 days so be careful to know what kind of plan you have and when it starts. I had to call in my first problem last week. There was leaking water under my kitchen sink. I got a call the next day but the plumber could not be out until the following afternoon so it was two days since I called them about it. It turned out not to be a pipe that was leaking but the garbage disposal was bad. It was covered by the warranty and they replaced it. Overall I think it's a good company. Maybe they could have got out faster but otherwise they did what they were supposed to. view less

I originally was not even going to go with Globe Home Warranty for my closing. I had another company which shall remain nameless lined up and I placed my application - they could not even get the title company an invoice for my closing. So the closer is upset and I could not believe I was having this problem. I shut that down pretty quick and placed my warranty with globe. I clicked submit I had my invoice and it emailed one to the closer. Done. view less

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Garage door stopped working. They had me pay $75 and sent a tech out that lasted 10 minutes. Said the circuit board was not working and that i had to replace the latch where the red handle is. Globe called to say it was not covered and because it was improperly installed? Really? I'ts been working for near 10 years...how can it have been improperly installed? Total waste of time and money. They didn't even offer to cover at least the circuit board as that is definitely part of the opener and should be covered. view less
