Had 2 claims with them. First the water heater started leaking. They sent a plumber out. He said it needed to be replaced. They called landmark and replaced it a couple days later. 2nd time the a/c quit blowing cold. Called Landmark and they sent a tech out and he diagnosed the a/c compressor was shot. He called Landmark and ordered the compressor. It took about 10 days to get the new compressor installed. Each time I paid the $60 fee and that was it. I got my moneys worth. I will use them again. My pool had a small leak in the equipment but nothing bad after a DFW cold snap and freeze the leak got worse. I called landmark after the weather warmed up and they sent a contractor out. It took a few days but I wasn't in a hurry. The contractor comes out looks at the issue and says he will have to talk to landmark and send in the work order. I get a call the next day that says the work won't be covered since it was not normal wear and tear and that weather is not covered either. The pool is outside so weather is going to happen. To make matters worse when I checked the equipment after the contractor left the leak was worse then when he got there. The customer service line was no help and I was told I could send an email to their mailbox for customer complaints. Which is just a way to get rid of me I know. If weather isn't covered and the unit is outside then I just want to know if pool coverage is ever paid off on. Biggest waste of money I have ever done. view less

We recently had our furnace start having issues. I submitted a claim and within an hour our request was forwarded to a contractor and the contractor as well was fast to respond! I am more than impressed with how fast Landmark and the contractor were fast to respond!

This time the ice in the ice maker in my refrigerator started coming out with little pieces of plastic in them. Landmark sent a contractor and found they could not fix it so they installed a whole new ice maker. Great service. Quick and efficient. Refrigerator works like new. You can't beat that service.

Reached someone very helpful and quickly by phone for a water heater problem. Received a call soon after for an appointment. The contractor called as promised 30 minutes prior to arriving the next day. He was professional and knowledgeable and fixed the problem quickly. We are very pleased!

I called for a noise in my furnace. The woman at Landmark who answered said noises weren’t covered but routine checkups are. Maybe that would be helpful. She gave me the contractor’s number and said they should call in 3-5 hours to set up an appt.

Only one hour later, I got a call. We set the appt for today between 8am to 12pm. ( which usually means they show at 11:30am lol).

But not with Clean Air! The contractor showed up at 9:00am, tuned ‘er up, and now the furnace is purring like a kitten! The contractor also explained what the noise was and why and showed me a preventative thing that I can do to help .

I had a good plumbing issue last night and I contacted Landmark, I was told to turn off the water and that a contractor would contact me tomorrow (Saturday) to come out. Well I got an email from Landmark this morning to see if an appointment had been scheduled and to give me the contractors information....so I call the number couldn’t leave a message because the voicemail was full and after 5 calls the contractor calls back and says “someone keeps calling from this number can I help you” oh wait you are a business and you return calls like that???? Well he proceeds to tell me he doesn’t work on the weekends and the office will be open on Monday call back then to make an appointment and hangs up....really I couldn’t believe it. I call landmark back and was told “ oh you should have been told 3-5 hour contact..and that you would be contacted on Monday...sorry but isn’t that a little contradictory 3-5 hours and you are speaking to me at 11:30 cst on a Friday night would be contact on Saturday never said 3-5 days or since we feel this isn’t an emergency you will be contacted on Monday? Rest assured they quickly took my $70 dollars out of my account and when I advised I wanted the claim cancelled there came the 3-5 days and I had to correct the supervisor oh yeah that I held 45 mins for that she needs to make sure to say 3-5 business days because if not I could possibly think that I would have my money by Tuesday. I have to say my policy is up for renewal at the end of February and this has really helped me decide...I will NEVER recommend Landmark to anyone and I am letting my realtor know so she doesn’t either....really not a good customer experience. view less

Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry to hear that your recent plumbing experience has lead to the decision of not renewing your coverage with Landmark. We do assign claims to an independent contractor, unfortunately we do not have control of the scheduling that they have. We will make reasonable accommodations to try to get you the soonest available contractor. Based on the guidelines of the warranty the situation you were experiencing was not deemed as an emergency as you were able to shut the water off to the leaking toilet.

We do take feedback very seriously and I will be getting this feedback to the correct departments to implement the needed training for our agents and contractors. I have a home warranty on recent purchase. I was convinced to purchase Landmark over another company by my realtor.

Now one month into the home, I have an expensive GE microwave that no longer works. I have gone now almost 2 weeks without a contractor coming out to see the appliance. My contact with customer service is sluggish to nonexistent. My expectation is that Landmark sends over a contractor and get the covered appliance fixed. Landmark collects the deductible and can not find a contractor.

This is my first time needing a repair covered under the warranty by Landmark. Everyone I spoke to during the process was professional. The contractor that Landmark send did and excellent job explained everything there were doing. Landmark called me to make sure the contractor contacted me in a timely manner, and again when the job was complete. Very pleased with the entire process!!

I just bought my house and upgraded the warranty from Landmark Home Warranty to cover All my Home needs. I have had my home warranty for about 1 1/2 yrs now. They are always friendly and helpful. The company’s they send out for the repairs are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t like paying for the home warranty but it turns out that it pays for itself with the repairs that I have needed. Thanks for the great service!

I have always received great service and the Vendors that are sent out are friendly and know what they are doing.
I stupidly wert with and Company ONLY because at the time financially , the other Company give me an offer I couldn’t refuse......BIG MISTAKE! So happy to be back with Landmark Home Warranty again! I will not leave them again....lesson learned!!!

I've used other home warranty companies and was often disappointed with the coverage. Landmark's coverage is just slightly better in my opinion. However, Landmark's customer service is WAY better than the other guys. I continue to renew my coverage with Landmark because they talk to me with compassion and are willing to listen and do their best to be reasonable. Several of their service providers have taken a bit longer (1-2 days) to get the issue fixed, but the customer service more than makes up for that. If Landmark offers service in your area, I recommend that you consider them for your home warranty. view less

I've had the warranty for two years, I've paid for the premium policy plus add-ons, and Landmark has conceded coverage for just 1 of 6 claims made. I have read the contract etc., and in all but one instance Landmark is relying on (at best) ambiguous language to deny coverage. Of course, Landmark always interprets that language to deny coverage. As soon as I noted these problems to Land Mark they sent a company representative to determine whether they should be repaired or replaced and the inspector determined that although the heating element in the stove can be replaced, the cook top will need to be replaced.
