I have always received great customer service when calling. Major problem is they are so busy that there are just VERY long wait times to actually talk to someone. Also not a lot of providers in my area which slows down on my service. It takes awhile to get things repaired because of the limited repairman available to do the job. That is one thing that needs to be looked into and get more companies on board that can actually do a good job.

American Home Shield (AHS)
when signing up with American Home Shield I asked specific questions about my swimming pool coverage. Specifically the electronic components i.e. Circuit board. I have a salt water system and the salt generator itself is not covered and is consumable. My control board was displaying a fault showing "No Cell Power". I took my salt cell into the pool store for diagnostics. The cell showed fine and generating clorine as is expected. I than called AHS for service per my warranty. AHS sent out Green 2 Crystay Clear Pools to check fault. The tech stated on invoice it was definitely the board that was at fault. He also hinted as to a potential problem with the warranty company covering it. I got a call later that day from AHS telling me my system was not covered. I have since been back and forth on phone (hold continously 45 min to an hour). I explain to customer service the problem and they keep denying me repair. They keep telling me there is nothing wrong with the board. There definitely is a problem when it will not recognize external equipment. I've asked that they send a new company and tech back out and they refused. The local company will not return my calls after attempting over a dozen times to reach them on 3 different phone numbers. I submitted complaint to BBB and they tell me local company is rated "F" for not responding to complaints. I plan to submit complaint on American Home Shields to BBB in Memphis, TS as well as complaint to TN Attorney Generals office.
