It has been an excellent service, however, when I needed to get a faucet repaired, I found out i had to place another service call on the Angled shut off valve, which the handle broke. I figure once one item is placed it should be included that the shutoff valve can be included.

I have been waiting for a repair on a stove for 90 days. I have made several (at least 100) calls to no avail. All I get is customer service reps from the Phillipines with roosters in their house. The only thing is "I apologize I have to contact the tech. No one know anything and has not resolved a thing. I am going to contact the media and hire an attorney at this point.

A/C died overnight - called at 6:30am with the forecast being 108 degrees here in AZ. Assigned a contractor right away, contacted them and paid an additional $75 to expedite the service. Arrived at 1pm ... house already up to 88 degrees ... fixed within the hour and we had cool air. The customer service folks at AHS were great, the only drawback was a long wait-time due to Covid. The contracted company was superb, text updates enroute, and very courteous and professional, highly skilled technician and smartly - key parts (fan motor, capacity) on hand. Thanks.

My upstairs heating system stopped working early Friday morning and I submitted a claim online the same day. The contractors phone response was very quick to my online claim but a technician was not scheduled until Monday, which was okay with me, as my downstairs heating system was able to keep our home somewhat comfortable over the weekend. The HVAC technicians arrived on time Monday, as scheduled and were very professional and courteous. The technician replaced the fan capacitor and the heating system was working when they departed. At approximately 2:00 am Tuesday the upstairs heating system failed to operate again. I contacted the contractor, by phone, when they opened and they immediately scheduled the technician(s) to return on Wednesday. On Wednesday, the technician had to replace the heater fan motor. Overall, I am pleased with American Home Shield insurance and the fact the contractor stood by their work, but the timeliness of the repairs could be improved.

Completely unethical handling of my claim. Sent a repair technician out to change out the handle on my microwave. After breaking the inside panel of the door, they tell me they will replace. AHS sends me recommendation and I take theirs, however it doesn’t have a bump out kit and they don’t make one for it.... Now I get to pay an $80 restocking fee and go find my own? Terrible customer service. I will be canceling this service one I get this resolved and I do not recommend this company.

Ice maker repair: The person handling my initial call for service was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Scheduled service right away. The repairman was excellent. Explained to me what had happened, what part needed to be replaced and the expected time line for the part to arrive. He called me with 48 hours and scheduled a time to finish the repair. He called when he was 15 minutes from my home, arrived on time and completed the repair within minutes. I was very pleased with the whole experience.
