Lowe’s Protection Plans
I am going to keep this clean, for the time being, but I am so frustrated with Lowes and Assur*** that I am seriously considering taking legal action - which would result in me spending even more time and money than I already have. I completely agree with all the reviews about these protection plans being worthless. I submitted a claim over 3 weeks ago and the issue has not even been addressed yet. Every time I call, I am told that someone will get back to me "in a day or two" with more information or next steps, yet I am the one that has to call them back because they never do. Not sure why anyone would buy a Lowes/Assurant extended warranty if the companys poor customer service results in repairs not being done, at least not in a timely manner.

Our air conditioner stopped working and we called AHS. They were quick to set us up an appointment. We were not in agreement with the first company they sent out and so we requested a second opinion. I received a call from the second company within the hour and we were scheduled for the very same day. The second company came and gave us their diagnosis and we were on our way to having a new air conditioner installed. We are very pleased with AHS and would recommend them to anyone. Overall great experiences, however if a problem should arise don\'t expect immediate resolution as their customer service representatives are not in the US, there is a huge language barrier, and they don\'t have the power to resolve issues. I am still waiting for someone yo call back on an issue from 2 months ago. Customer service representatives are there mainly to agree with you and make you feel good.

Take to long on repairing appliances or replacing them. It shouldn’t take 2 to 3 weeks to get appliance and if I got it locally it shouldn’t take 21 days to get the check. When you take your payment on claim right away. You can put the money in the same way

I have had to use my home warranty twice. Once for my garage door and second for my Dryer. It was great. Both serviceman were here on time, did the work in a timely fashion and most importantly did the work correctly. I haven\'t had any problems with my repairs. My garage door is bigger then the average but home shield authorized a new system be installed at same price.

My warranty issue was solved without too much trouble. My biggest complaint is that I had to sit on hold for at least 30 minutes each time I called AHS for updates on my claim.

The response time from submission if claim and response from contractor was good. Not great but reasonable. Response to contractor from AHSOn claim approval was great. Contractor could have been a little better time coordinated.
