Lowe’s Protection Plans
We had a washer machine taken out during a lightning storm. I called Lowe\'s extended warranty number and they sent someone to look at the washer. He diagnosed the problem as a bad mother board. He told us it would be 2 weeks before they could get one in hand. It has been 2 weeks now and I have contacted them and was told the board is on backorder. It will be at least another 2 weeks before it gets here. You would think that when I pay $200 for an extended warranty Lowe's would have a better answer for me other than " guess you will have to go to the laundry mat for a month". The warranty is a complete waste of money and Lowe's is one of the most unprofessional companies out there. I highly recommend going somewhere else.

I am sorely disappointed with American Home Shield. Due to what I thought was a dirty vent, I found out that my Air conditioner / heat pump unit was full of scummy filth and AMS refused any form of help. Did it still run? Yes, but I am not going to breathe that, now that I know what is in it. Does AHS care about the health of their clientele? Obviously not. One of the main reasons I purchased AhS was to protect one of my largest investments, my air/heat pump. Cleaning the unit wasn't an option since the rusted out pan / filter was permanently attached. Other than offering to refund the service call, there was no compensation for the coverage. This is a worthless product and so many exclusions that I am fully considering cancelling my policy. 100% disgusted. What a waste of my time and resources.

Came home and realized our heater was not working, set up a claim online and got an appointment quickly. The technician fixed the problem promptly and we are nice a warm again! Very easy, very nice, and no problems!

Bill came the first day. On time and quick to fix the problem. He did install and incorrect part which he admitted to me the next day when I called to tell him it wasn\'t working. This Brian came that afternoon with the correct part and all is well. Overall satisfied with both Bill and Brian. Would use them again if the need arrises.

I am very disappointed in this company. They told me that my freezer in the garage was not covered after they sent out a technician and I was charged the $75 in 2016. But they said that an in house refrigerator freezer was covered. Two years later I had a problem with no drinking water coming out on the refrigerator . I called and they said it was not covered! Instead they had put down a trash compactor which I never ever had in this house. To fix it I have to wait for 10 months when my contract renews! Or else add the refrigerator at an additional cost. Really? Also to call them for repair I was put on hold for an hour two days in a row. Then to speak to a manager another 30 minutes. When they do come out to do the work it takes 2 days. I had a sick husband who was homebound and the temp outside was 100, and he nearly died without the AC. Luckily the technician they sent was good and the problem resolved.
