American Home Shield (AHS)
Ever since I signed up for American Home Shield, my mind as been at ease. I was not sure in the beginning being a first time home owner, but over the last 3 years I have not had any regrets. They have been responsive, professional, and cover most of the items in my home that broke down or needed repair (minor or replacement). I would recommend them to any new homeowners or any homeowners in general.

American Home Shield (AHS)
This is our second call for our home warranty. The technician that came out to repair our refrigerator replaced a motor and advised us on the waterline connection. We took care of purchasing and installing a new water hose and we are back in business!

American Home Shield (AHS)
Every time and I do mean every time I call AHS there is over a 40 minute hold time to talk to someone if I don\'t use the website and sometimes I haven\'t been able to. The last customer service person I talked to earlier this week certainly didn\'t sound like he wanted to be there. Bad attitude. I\'ve sunk over $800 into repairs in the last 60 days on a very old AC unit because they have refused to turn it in as unfixable. A service call was made last Friday and the service person told me they would turn in into AHS by Monday. Never heard a word so when I called AHS and after a 40 minute hold time I got the customer service person who could not have cared less. He said nothing had been turned in from my service provider. I called the service provider and he said they had turned it in. So it's been a week, no word on the AC unit. Really sick of a service that says they are a warranty company but then want to collect monthly fees and charge $100 bucks a visit with no further action and a broken ac unit. Bad business. It must hurt their supplier score when service providers come so they band aid the issue to keep AHS happy. Over a period of a couple of weeks Freon leaks out ($60 a pound to customer times 5 or 6 pounds to fill it and they only pay $10 a pound of that) and I have to call again to fix it when it can't be fixed. It needs replaced and has for years but AHS wants to dodge the repair.
