Our oven stopped working. I notified AHS 05/07/20 and after paying the fee a contractor was assigned to us. Unfortunately, they were unable to come out until 05/16/20. The technician arrived on 05/16/20 between the prescribed hours and got right to work. He quickly determined the cause of the issue and fixed it. He also checked the second oven for temperature accuracy. We are very satisfied with the professionalism, courtesy and workmanship of the technician. He wore a mask and gloves the entire time and kept his distance from us.

When I was frustrated with the service I received from a contractor, the rep worked with me to locate another company and waited patiently as I looked up the reviews for the company. She gave me her full attention and made me feel completely at ease. You need more just like her! The reason for the overall score of 3 stars is because they need to add more reps and cut down the hold time which is consistently long.

I a so thankful that I was lead to take the this insurance out to cover all of my appliances, plumbing, electric, furnace and many other thing. It has very helpful not to have to worry about when these thing break down that all I have to do is make a call to American Home Shield put in an order for the work that needs to be done and they make and order for a contractor to do the work and it is taking care of right away. if it can be fixed they will take of it or if for reason it can not they will replace it and that I am very happy a about. They have never let me down and I have been with them for a number of years.

I called AHS to get an appointment to have a faulty shower control unit fixed. The plumber called for specifics and to set up a visit time. He showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, got the right parts and fixed the control valve. After testing he cleaned up the work. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous. Well worth the money for the insurance and the service call.
