American Home Shield (AHS)
Each time American Home Shield sends a repairman Its at least a 2 to 3 time trip. Usually it is the wrong diagnosis of my appliances. After I requested GE to be sent out to repair my GE refrigerator, they refused, I was without a refrigerator for one MONTH. Finally after week three they relented and sent GE. I called and requested GE for my dishwasher, again they refused, so I canceled the first week in January. I was charged for that month and would love to have a refund. Also the worst is their phone wait time, well over an hour!!

Really disappointed with the service of AHS. Biggest issue with them is not able to get to their customer service. Spent hours waiting to get to someone on phone. Really frustrating. And when it is time to fix an issue we had with dishwasher, we had to wait for 25 days after first technician visit to home and determining that the dishwasher needs parts which costs beyond replacement. I wouldn't suggest AHS to any of my friends. Hope they fix the service and provide better experience to their customers. I cancelled my service with them before the completion of the term. Wishing them all the best.

American Home Shield (AHS)
I would highly recommend not to use AHS. One of the worst customer service I even had experience in my life. Customer representative simply don\'t care about your request. AHS don\'t have any control over their vendor who take the contract to fix your home appliance. In my case Major Home Appliance is the vendor of AHS who never calls you back. Keep lying about all the updates.

American Home Shield (AHS)
Worst Service - they mention Garage Door Related issues are covered when I signed the contract - 4 months later my Garage Door had problem as it has come down and see the chain had come out of the grew - they sent a technician and said this is not covered and not due to wear and tear - I have to pay $60 for the technician visit and ended up calling the same technician to fix the problem by paying $250. Also, don't think that you can combine problems with two or more appliances and pay $60 - they charge $60 for each appliance - again when the contract is signed this was not mentioned any where. Never Ever think about AHS.
