Nightmare. Called on a Friday morning due to no hot water and they didn\'t sent a contractor until Tuesday afternoon. Their contractor comes out, looks at the water heater for 5 mins, and states he needs to over a part that has to be overnighted and because it\'s after 1 PM, it won\'t arrive until Thur. Thurs-no part. Fri-no part. Mon-no part. Tues-no part. I have to call the contractor and ask status and they state they didn't realize it was on backorder! What?! I receive the part and he installs 2 days later and then states he needs another part. Took another 2 days. IF YOU DON'T NEED HOT WATER FOR 14 DAYS, PURCHASE AMERICAN HOME SHIELD's WARRANTY PROGRAM WHO CONTRACTS WITH TERRIBLE CONTRACTORS! Otherwise, use Fidelity Home Warranty who I had last year and never had one problem with obtaining immediate and excellent vendors who treated customers like customers. I stupidly thought I'd save $25.00 for the annual cost and went with AHS-not when my contract is up in seven months! Never again...

You think you\'re buying 24/7 service; however, the 24/7 service means you can call a service request in - BUT contractors will only be sent out mon - fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. So, called in once for having no electricity on a Sat morning (waited on hold for 45 minutes), and was told they\'d call a contractor on Mon, at which time, they would have 48 hours to then contact me for an appt. How is a total of 5 days ok for emergency service for zero electricity? Watch what you're paying for.....
