Do Not WAIST YOUR MONEY!!! I wish I could give them a zero review! We had a hole in our microwave inner door as well as a washing machine that smelled like burning electric wire when not even fully loaded. I opened a service request after calling several times. I took a day off from work to be home and the technician did not come that day! I had to reschedule it for another day, took another half day off and a technician who could hardly communicate in English came and looked at both appliances and said he will send us the report. Obviously they called me and told that nothing is covered as a hole in the microwave door (with steam and food trapped in it) is an cosmetic problem!!!! They charged me $75 for sending someone over to tell me that they do not cover any of the issues. It’s totally unacceptable as they wasted my time and energy! Very unhappy with this company!

It has been hit or miss with this company. The first time I used them for a plumbing problem, they sent me a decent / helpful contractor who came in a very timely manner. Five stars for that. The second time I called them for a leaky A/C, they gave the contractor the wrong phone number--- or the didn\'t explain properly which number he was to call, and when he came out, it was a valve issue which somehow wasn't covered under warranty. I called to ask them to explain why it wasn't a covered matter, and their customer service said they would have to get a detailed report from the contractor and then they could get back to me. That was three weeks ago, and I am still waiting for a reply.

It took the subcontractor (Premier Appliance) 3 times to replace a light bulb in my microwave oven and the door hinge. I was not happy with the result after 2 trys but AHS would not allow another service provider to come out. I still am not happy with the door hinge repair. Also, it took me an hour to wait on the phone until an AHS operator took my call to discuss my issue with the repair job

The customer service personnel are friendly. The repair service company normally performed good services, the technicians were very professional. However, sometimes the time slot was not very flexible, it\'s hard to schedule time off from job and parts ordering was longer than expected.

We had a drainage back-up that was potentially damaging. I called AHS to request assistance, and within 90 minutes we had scheduled a tradesman. He was able to be at the house within 45 minutes, and was able to correct the problem very quickly. The contractor was on time, courteous, and it was not evident he was here after he completed his work.

I had AHS several years back. When our 20 year old coil stove-oven's timer was malfunctioning, AHS replaced our stove! They told us how much they were going to pay for the stove, and we added a little of our own fund to get a brand new ceramic top stove-oven. All I had to do was send them a copy of the receipt. It was truly hassle free. However, I ended up discontinuing because the premium and the copay kept going up, and my husband lost his job, so we had to reduce all the expenses. Unfortunately, while we didn't have the warranty, our built-in microwave went out, shower leaked, had to replace the door seal on the washer. We ended up doing it ourselves to reduce the cost, but all in all, the warranty would've saved precious time and energy. Other than high premium and service call fee, I was very happy with AHS, so after a few years of no warranty, I am going back to AHS.

Broken refrigerator ice maker. Had to endure 10 (ten) service appointments and go through replacement of every individual parts of the ice maker after which the ice maker still did not work. I went through approximately 40 hours of waiting around for "service" calls. After many hours of being put on hold after AHS last futile attempt to repair the ice maker, AHS finally agreed to replace the refrigerator. They advised that we could either replace with identical model or upgrade the replacement if we purchased through them and paid the difference in price. I checked refrigerators and found one I liked. I called AHS back with my selection and was told that they did not have access to my selected brand (SAMSUNG) It would have been nice if they provided a list of brands they had access to. They still encouraged that me to consider the upgrade because they have a special buying relationship with various brands and by going through them I could get the most refrigerator for the money. Currently I am still in the AHS appliance replacement process. At this point in time my refrigerator has been broken for months since I first called AHS. I would say that AHS response to the repair request has been a joke but I really do not see the humor of the situation.

Bunch of crooks can't fix anything. We had 4 times asking them to come and fix our plumbing issues. averytime they said that we broke the parts or it's not wear and tear. I had to go to the attorneys till they fix items. DO NOT BUY THEIR POLICY. It doesn't cover anything. The y just want your $60. That is all.

My washer wouldn't spin fast enough anymore and leave me with soaky wet clothes. I called AHS. It took four days for a technician to come out. When he inspected the machine, he showed me what was broken and said that he would have to order 3 different parts and come back later. He also said that the insurance might decide to replace the washer altogether, since this would be a pricey repair. The next day I receive a call form AHS saying that they will not pay for anything because it was my mistake to overload the washer. I said that I did not overload the washer and they said that this was what the technician told them. He didn't mention anything about overloading to me the day before and when I called his company they were very rude and said that he doesn't have to communicate with me. I will file reports about both these companies, AHS and FACTORY SERVICE APPLIANCE REPAIR. Something is definitely wrong here, they seem to work together in ripping people off! It looks like AHS's company policy is to not allow anything major to be fixed.
