There was a noise, I thought was coming from the wall so I recorded it and played it for M***, the plumber, and after seeing the recording he went right to the real problem. M*** walked me through what was wrong and what he was doing to fix it. He even gave me tips and pointers to use for upkeep and maintenance. Just a side note, M*** was very polite, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and informative and to my surprise, he was quick and clean, I was expecting a big mess. I highly recommend his service.

I gave Sun Powerded Solution a good rating because I thought they fixed the problem but it’s not fixed. They came and fix a pipe that was plug up in my air conditioners according to them that was going to fix the leak but when I used the air conditioner the leak started to drip again. The problem was no fixed. I called again to AHS and they set up an order again on Friday, unfortunately it’s the weekend so i haven’t received a call for the second visit. I am little frustrated because it seems to be very time something gets fixed they have to come back twice.

I am giving a 3 star rating because of the great customer service I received from American Home Shield. The Quality of repair and repair time rating of 1 star is solely for the company they contracted to do the job. They responded and scheduled an appointment to my satisfaction and told me that the specific part needed to repair my AC would have to be ordered and it would take 2 weeks. Well 2 weeks came & went & crickets... I tried reaching the company and it would go straight to voicemail where I was unable to leave a message as the inbox was full. I reached out to American Home Shield and within the day the company called me and low and behold the part came in that day. As to why voicemail inbox was full..."customers think that if they leave multiple messages, I will get to them faster. I can't keep up with deleting all of the messages". He comes the next day to fix my AC & for one glorious night it works! But the next morning it's broken again!! I call American Home Shield who promptly puts in the recall order and tells me to give the guy 48 hours to call me.... I do, & nothing. American Home Shield sends another company, who I love and repairs my AC & (gets the part that mysteriously took over 2 weeks to get ) within 2 days!!! So overall American Home Shield rocks but they might want to screen the companies the use.

This is the worst company to get warranty from, I had a problem with my AC not cooling at all, to make story short I called more than 5 times, they denied all repairs or replacement of the unit, I had no other option but to replace the unit myself which cameout around to 11,000 USD I called later to see if I could get partial reinbursment and first they said that I didnt called them to let them know that the units never got fixed, then they said on their system it shows that they fixed the problem...Very bad customer service and very rude company.BAD BAD BAD home warranty.

We have saved thousands of dollars in the year we have had our home warranty with American Home Shield. Their contractors replaced our AC Compressor, unclogged our plumbing, repaired our clothes washer, replaced our garage door spring, repaired our garage door opener, replaced the wall switch to the garage door opener & reprogrammed 2 remotes. With our monthly payments of $51.25 & 4 service call fees at $75.00 each, we paid only $915.00 when we would have had to pay at least $2,000 for just the AC Compressor alone! Couldn't be more pleased with AHS & their contractors.

Four weeks to repair my A/C! Not very professional. The second repair company was good, but the process with AHS was awful. A “hurry up and wait” attitude. People at customer service department were nice with their scripted responses and acting as if they really care. Wonder if they would be happy waiting four (4) weeks in 100+ temperatures for a/c to be repaired.

Will not recommend. Last repair took over two months with no Heath or ac. I called more than a multiple times customer service was horrible and let\'s not get started with the contractors. The contractor we\'re giving me a run around last time ( I had this issue fixed before and only took two days). When I would call ahs the representative seem to not care and the time line of two months did not seem worrisome to them. Multiple calls to ahs did nothing. The contractors we're sun power solutions this in fact is the worst I have ever received. No customer service and lack of respect towards paying customers. Because of this I stopped my automatic payments and cancelled American home shield. I really wish you guys will take care of your paying customers.

AHS is a good insurance to have, the cost in view of the exorbitant repair costs of nowadays are reasonable. The service has been good, with enormous phone wait time (as long as 30 minutes +). Several times I had to go through their offer of second opinion; It required patience but eventually the issues got resolved. One plumber needed me to lend him a flashlight to go under the house, his was defunct..then he proposed to cut the side of the house open, so he would not have to work under the home; I proposed to find another solution; he then worked from under the kitchen sink, and janked pretty hard on the piping, which caused a flood in the adjacent bathroom; he had to come back and fix that also..he did. But I also wish to say that they came out fast, so I was not left w/o water for long. AHS is good, some of the companies they work with are good in dispatch, but the workmen are not necessarily up to par. All in all I say AHS is good to have.

the worst company we have ever done business with. Our A/C was out for 13days thanks to the lack of communication with this company. We asked to have it escalated because with it out and the only unit we have and the temps well over 105 out it needed to be fixed in a hurry. Well they did not bother to let us know they cancelled the contract for the guy they told us was coming to repair it. Oops just a small mistake on their part. In the mean time we get a robo call from them asking if the repair had been done?? well no you called him off. We then called customer service to ask why the robo call and we were told again oops that should not have happened. Well in the mean time the first repair guy called set up time to come out and us still not knowing he was told not to come we were happy it will be fixed. Now its a weekend and of course none of the contractors never work so we will wait until Monday still have not been told he was called off by AHS. He shows up looks the unit over said bad compressor fan motor took the motor and left said it will take a week and cost 1000.00. I called AHS to check on this and that's when we told he should not have come out...good to know AFTER the fact. I was told by AHS well we sent him an email...i said don't you think we should have been told as well? WE got no answer to that question. Then we had to fight with the guy to get the motor back so the next company will come out and look it over. So a few days later the next guy shows up spent about five minutes did not even test the motor or even look at the A/C unit all he did was read what the first guy wrote and wrote that on his guess, took the motor and left. He spoke such bad English i could not understand a word he said and the guy with him had the same problem because he kept asking me what did he say. Well i called them the day after he was out to see what the progress was and found out at 4:45 pm FRIDAY he never submitted the paperwork so they will have to wait until next week to see if AHS will pay for it...so now the second weekend with no A/C. Well Monday I finally got a call from the comfort zone a/c company saying they will be here Tuesday between 10-2pm. Well when 2pm came and went i called and was told many different stories. 1. the repair man said he fixed it and i explained he never showed up. 2. well the second repair man showed up Sunday and fixed it again i told them no it was not fixed on SUNDAY. 3. the repair man said he never took the motor the second guy has it...again i explained the first and ONLY repair man took the motor when he was here on Thursday. 4. then i was told by a woman that was laughing on the phone the guys made a mistake and did the wrong house. 5. still laughing she finally said the guy had us mixed up with someone else and they still needed to get the new motor and will finally be out on Wednesday. So after all this mix up from AHS and two repair companies we had to go without A/C in the middle of a desert with outside temps reaching over 105 and inside temps at 95 for 14 days. There is no excuse that you can give a customer that has been with this company for over 20yrs with two homes. When a customer calls and sits on hold for 1 1/2 hours and then get treated like this just lets me know you care nothing for your customers and just the all mighty dollar is what drives you. You should be ashamed for the way you treated us and all the other customers you have done this to and from what i see, read and hear there are many. It might be time for your company to look over your upper management and make a few changes if you want to stay in business. Because as the word spreads from person to person about your treatment of loyal customers it can only get worse for you. I know if one mad customer tells one more and they tell one then when its done that one customer has now told 100.

I give them a zero. I would rather be without insurance than use them. They are a total scam. I wasted my annual premium and the $60 deductible for nothing. The technician they sent to look at my air conditioner blamed everything on me. We moved into our home this year 2016. In the summer, the air conditioner was not working properly consulted our real estate agent, he told us to report the issue to Old Republic which we did. After that, it was a nightmare. I never ever want to have any dealings with them. Total scam artists is what they are.

Being waiting for an e-mail for a replacement for my oven-micro wave since Friday. Know that not a long time but the I talked to was just sending it out. I've tried calling and after 5 tries since Friday July 8th and waiting on hold for 45 minutes to an hour. I have not got a response. I'm a long time customer and the customer is getting worse. I would like my product replaced as told it would be by your customer service

I have been an AHS customer for over 4 years, paying over $100 per month for home warranty (my house is new and greater than 5000 square ft). We have close to none service claims ( can't remember the last time we called for service). This year my pool servicing company identified a couple of issues. I placed a service request online on AHS website. A pool service company (Platinum Contractors) called that is NOT local to my house and does not service my area on Fridays. They are asking somebody to available essentially the entire day so that come whenever they like during the day. They gave me one appointment option that was unacceptable to me and next appointment was weeks away. I was told by the contractor to call AHS for a different contractor. I called them it took 52 minutes plus before a human being to talk to me. That is F grade in my books for customer service. The representative that spoke it me told me that I have to take that appointment because it within the AHS guidelines and they would not assign another contractor. Basically, what it meant for my case is that I have to take a whole day from work and sit around waiting for the contractor to show up. That is another F grade for AHS for having polices that serve to please their service contractors and NOT accommodate the customers who are paying AHS to stay in business. After giving close to $5000 to AHS for the past 4 years, I am seriously researching other companies or questioning the value of this kind of service.

I filed a claim for repair of a microwave oven and a week later the contractor, LA Appliance came and diagnosed the problem and ordered a part. 10 days later the tech came back and learned his office had supplied the wrong part. It has now been 24 days since I filed the claim and I have no idea as to when the repair will be complete. An AHS representative told me 5 days ago that he would contact the contractor and either he or the contractor would call me with an update. No call. No email. Nothing! This is horrible service and I will be switching vendors.

I had a problem with my pool dump, called ahs and they sent out a pool man however when he looked at the pool he said that i did not have a basket in my zodiac pool cleaner and that had caused a clogged in the plumbing which caused the pool pump to go bad and said it was my fault. I checked with the manual to that zodiac cleaner and nothing is said about a filter in the skimmer and said to make sure that the pump basket is cleaned of which I did. When we talked to ahs and read to them the instructions to the pool cleaner stating that just to make sure the pump basket is cleaned they said they did not care it is still my fault and the claim to replace the pool pump is denied. the worst service we have ever had. Seems like every time they come out it is NOT covered. they always find a way to say nope not covered. had a gate valve on my water heater that had so mu corrosion it would no allow water to flow. After over 20yrs it just quit working...Guess what they say not covered. Received a letter saying because it was abuse and the valve was broke off...well no it was not broke off just mostly closed. the plumber had to heat it up to remove it and replace it with a new one which we had to pat for because again...NOT covered. When we called customer service to explain the letter was wrong it was not broke off we got a VERY RUDE lady who was having a bad day I guess. She did not want to hear from us at all and nothing we could say would change anything...all they seem to do it charge more for less and then send you a letter saying abuse. We have had them out twice in maybe two years and both time they DID NOT COVER IT...so I m paying for something and getting nothing...
