Lowe’s Protection Plans
I bought Lowe\'s 5 year protection plan along with my LG Refrigerator. Few weeks ago, its display panel broke because of manufacturing issue. Now, the bottom area of the panel is hard read. I had called the Lowe\'s warranty department and reported the issues. They denied my claim saying, it is a cosmetic issue and not covered under warranty program. I have reviewed the warranty document. I didn’t find any reference to what they have mentioned. Lowe's warranty program sucks. Planning to consult an attorney.

My washer broke. I made the call on 7/31 and the first diagnosis visit appointment was after a week because there was no appointments available until then. The diagnosis happened on a 8/7 and I don\'t know when information was submitted and I didn\'t get a email regarding the status until 8/11 and an email stating my card will be charged for the service request. At this point there is still nothing working. 8/14 I got a call from their rep indicating that the repair costs outweigh the cost of the appliance and suggested replacement washers. The lady was very nice and walked me through all options clearly and we put the order together right away. And my service request is closed - WHAT??? Today is 8/22 - still no sight of that washer. I got on a call last morning and because of wait times reported, I dropped off. Today am on the call again after a few mins wait on hold and finally the rep tells me that order was placed and the washer is expected to arrive today. But wait??? there was no call requesting for an appointment. What if I was out of town? It will be almost 4 weeks now with no washer. This is the worst experience I have faced after being a customer with them for over 10 years now.

Part2 of my review This is getting ridiculous by the hour. Am super frustrated right now. After being on hold for 10+ minutes and reviewing my record , the agent put me on hold again to hunt down the status of the washer. Later came back and said I need to speak to purchasing dept. How would I know I am supposed to contact them? There is no details about a purchasing dept and that I can talk to them. I asked her to connect me directly to this dept and she put me back on the main automated menu which put me on an exactly 40 minutes for another agent to pick up. Lady #2 was going to put me on hold as well to find the status and I told her - I just need to be connected to the purchasing department. Sitting on the call now for over 10 mins and the automated message goes - if you have not elapsed 14 days since your purchase - please hang up. Why wouldn't you apprise me of this before I waste my time on this? Or have the service rep just pass that message.

Unfortunately my request came just prior to a holiday weekend, so there was a bit of waiting. The contractor that came out did a fantastic job, he even swept the floor while the dryer was moved away from the wall. The parts were order that same day. There was some confusion on AHS reps part as to the request for authorization. He told me the parts were ordered and when I spoke with the contractor, they had not received the authorization from AHS to order the parts. Once that was cleared up the dryer was fixed within a week.
