So far, I have been very pleased with the services received through American Home Shield. I had a leaking faucet that could not be repaired with the replacement part that was immediately available from the manufacturer, so the manufacturer was responsive enough to provide a new faucet, which the AHS plumbing contractor then installed. My only issue was that the plumbing contractor's schedule was booked and the times between my receipt of the part (and then the faucet itself) were long. After the first repair attempt I could barely use my sink at all, so had to use bathroom sink. AHS needs more plumbing contractors in my area. I had one other issue this year, with a clothes washer, which AHS took care of right away. The telephone service reps at AHS seem very customer-oriented and eager to provide good service. I was skeptical of what AHS would be able to provide in this first year of owning a new (older) home, and am now a believer.

Quick response of a plumbing co. and remediation of issue. Workers were pleasant, quick and a pleasure to work with. AHS sent a plumbing co. within two days and then approved the repair on the next day of a leaking pipe below the house.

I am very upset that you raised my monthly charges from $39.99 to $47.99 without my consent. I had no claims during the previous contract year and I note that you are offering the same plan I am on for $39.99. Your customer service rep gave me some nonsense about not being able to make changes because 60 days have gone by. I will be canceling with AHS at the end of this year's contract if you don't make changes to get my rate back to $39.99, the same rate you are offering new customer.

Repair person showed up on time,and promptly found the problem with our oven. It was fixed in 20 minutes,and works great now. The man could not have been any nicer. What ever you are paying this man,he does deserve a raise. Credit too your company.

American Home Shield is an efficient, courteous, and superlative example of how home warranty companies can easily insure you are covered when home systems, whether heating, plumbing, electrical or appliance have failed. Being responsible for a hundred year old home and household of 5, AHS has saved me major discomfort, cost and inconvenience more than once, and I would hate to be responsible for this place without them!
