Listened to me and repair issue resolved. Highly recommend. I have tried others over the years. This is the one I trust. Took care of an issue with one call to customer service.

Our Air Conditioner stopped working. AHS made it quick and easy to repair! I am so happy! The tech was so professional and they kept in contact with me during the whole process. It couldn’t have been any easier. Thank you so much!

Lowe’s Protection Plans

Rating starRating starRating starRating starRating star

Horrible Service!!!! Lowes employees don\'t know what they are doing. I called for service on my refrigerator. Lowes sent Active Appliance. Active Appliance repair man was totally incompetent. He unplugged the refrigerator for a few minutes, plugged it back in and said if that didn\'t fix it to call them back. After this terrible service the company didn't bill Frigidaire correctly so the claim was denied. So instead of working this out with Lowes or Frigidaire they billed me directly. The first bill I received was a threatening letter that said they would send to collections if I didn't pay in 30 days. I of course asked Lowes for help dealing with this company. Why would I have to pay anyone when I have a manufacturers warranty and a 5 year warranty with Lowe???? They did nothing to help me. They just kept giving me the run-around for weeks. I had to call them 5 times and every time, I had to explain the whole ordeal again. Each time I called I spoke with a supervisor and that didn't help. I finally called Frigidaire myself about the whole fiasco. They were really nice and made an exception on my behalf and will pay this terrible company to get them off my back. Needless to say, I asked Lowes for a full refund for the 4 appliance warranties I bought. Lowes totally messed up this whole processes. They should have just referred me to Frigidaire because I was still under manufacturers warranty. Instead they messed it up and then gave me the run-around for weeks.

I am a Senior living in S California. We are having heat waves and my AC quit. I called AHS they sent out a contractor who said I needed a new Capacitor and freon. I paid and extra $225 for the freon plus $100 service fee. Contractor left and unit stopped working. Spent countless hours on the phone trying to get them back but was told by AHS it is a holiday weekend and they would not come out. A new appointment was scheduled and not sure what they did but supposedly fixed and again if stopped working. 3rd time they said it was the compressor. I called AGS on hold for 40 mins so went onto their social link and received a call syaing that this contractor told them that the reason the compressor was not working was the sprinklers affected it and they would charge me $400 to repair. This is a total lie this unit is old and needs replaced how come after over 30years it only has problems now. I can get a 2nd opinion but need to pay the $100 service fee again. How on earth can a supposedly reputable company do this to their clients. If you check their Facebook page there are numerous complaints more than positive remarks. I am so very disappointed in AHS and do not understand how you can rate them as the #1 warranty company. Check their facebook page.

this warranty doesn't cover anything. The plumber that they sent didn't even unclog my bathroom. He stated that my washout was one way valve only and If i wanted my bathroom unclogged I had to build another wash out. I had to pay a different plumber to do it. Btw my wash out is two way. Two of my bathroom sinks are leaking a technician came who was very rude and impatient and didn't even fix the problem. He said he will be back the next day. Then, few hours later someone from ORH warranty called and said they will not do it.

My pool pump broke, so I called in a service request. The contractor AHS assigned was completely incompetent and not only did not fix the problem correctly, but created a new problem with my spa. I had my regular pool tech inspect the work and he found a lot of unrepaired problems which he fixed at significant cost to me. AHS refused to refund the cost of my deductible for the poor work that their contractor provided.

Everything was great from when I put the service call in, I received a call from the contractor I believe that same evening for them to come out the very next day. The contractor arrived a little late, but I received a call from their customer service department notifing me that they were running behind schedule but they were still coming. They then called me to let me know that they were on their way, and that was approximately 5-10 minutes after the call that they were behind schedule. The gentleman came looking neat and clean, announced who he was and from what company. He went straight to work which was the easiest job that he had the whole day. He was very friendly, professional and spoke with respect.

Everything about the problem went fairly smoothly. It was an oven repair and required a new control board which had to be ordered. It took about a week to get the part and the installation was scheduled for 8-12 on a Wed. The only hitch in the whole experience was that the repairman did not arrive before 12 and I had to call his office to make sure he was coming. The dispatcher immediately contacted him and let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived, he installed the board and everything worked as expected.

I have had to make 2 service calls to OR. The first was for a leak from the faucet on our kitchen sink. We purchased our home, which is 30 years old, and the warranty was paid for by the seller. Anyhow, the technician arrived and looked at the sink and then called OR. A few minutes later I get a call from OR on a cell phone indicating they would not cover the repair because it appeared there was rough usage on the sink??? I called the 800 number and was a bit upset. Explained the kitchen was newly remodeled and we were in the house for only a few weeks. The repairman was still on site and I asked him what he had told OR and he said he told them the faucet could not be repaired but would need to be replaced. He never said anything about rough usage... OR finally gave in and authorized the replacement which cost $240 plus my $60 deductible. The repairman told me that this ploy is standard practice and OR will try to deny the initial claim. I am glad it worked out and the repairman was great. I now have a leak from my master tub and will see if they wiggle out of it. If I get any resistance, I will use my own contractor and forget OR once and for all..if it sounds too good to be true.........

We have been with AHS for a few years. The first claim or so they were fine. I do not understand how they send a repair person out from over 30 miles away, but that is between them and their contractors. Now we have a claim on our washer that the technician said should be replaced. However when he went back to his management and they spoke with AHS, it was determined that we overloaded the unit and thus voided the warranty. This is so blatantly untrue that words fail me. I have checked with GE (maker of the unit) and have references in their documentation that the units can be stuffed full, which we do not do. We are being denied by AHS based on their unwillingness to pay a claim. It is their fall back tactic when it comes to actually having to replace something. Search the internet, AHS is a scam.

I have had AHS for over four years sicne I purchased my home. It was barely five years old and rarely needed any repairs. Recenlty I finally called them on my washing machine. They sent out the usual non-english speaking russians who do as little as possible to help. I ahve experienced their technicians with bad attitudes and rudeness. I always get an excuse from them and a denial for help. I was told lack of maintenance on a refridgerator issue and on the wahsing machine I was told it was over used. How do you overuse a new machine that has a family of four in it? They have denied repairing my washing machine when their warrantee states they repair everything on washing machines except soem small items like door latches.i called them a year ago for the same reason adn was told the machine was just getting unbalanced. This time it refused to no longer function and they flat out refused to service it. I have cancelled their service for good and now have to buy new ones. My realtor who recommends them will also be stopping referral of there company for good as well. They are not worth having and are the worst experience I have seen thus far with appliance repair. Don't use this company unless you want a lame excuse and denial.

Every time I call for repair...they send the technician and then the item is not covered. Bathroom vent making noise because of motor problem - not covered because of lack of maintenance. Ceiling fan remote/senor not working - Same brand as the manufactures...not covered because it was aftermarket product. Even we bought the house like that, it is from the same manufacturer...it is not covered because it is aftermarket product. Outside light sensors not working - attached to the house..it is not covered because it is outside and they don't cover items outside. Ceiling fan light has a short...it is not covered because technician reports as arms broken to fans in another room. Good luck with your repairs if you still going to buy this....I am switching to Stanley Warranty... zero service call charge... http://www.stanleywarranty.com/
