Really a horrible company to do business with. Nearly impossible to get a hold of anybody that has the authorization to assist specific needs. Companies like this are why people don\'t buy warranties. Hours upon hours of waiting on hold. Overbilled by sending people out to do work that weren\'t prepared to do so, but still wanted a service call fee paid. Paid $225 for something that should have only cost $75. When you do get people on the phone, they couldn't care less what your concerns are and if the billing was their error. Failure to pay or put yourself through the process of dispute of charges potentially could have you sent to collections. Ridiculous. Literally 0 customer service. Research other companies rather than using this one.

AHS is a horrible warranty company. It takes 1.5 hours to get the calls answered, even before COVID19. Our drier broke and we opened a ticket online. After the contractor came, he said the dryer needed to be replaced. We received a letter that let us choose between a GE dryer and $600 cash. We chose the GE Dryer. We\'ve waited a month and the dryer has not come. We called many times and after 1.5 to 2 hours of waiting they would hang up. Finally we found a person in the Appliance Dept who took down all the info and said the dryer will arrive in 2 weeks. Three weeks later, when we didn't get the dryer we called again several times, each time waiting 1.5-2 hours before we could speak to a person. they said you never filed for replacement. and now you can't get the GE dryer and gave a model that was much worse and a choice of $400 instead of the original $600. We were so sick of being run around and wasting hours and hours on the phone, we accepted. But this is not right! They are a scam of a company

The Air conditioner stopped working on Friday evening, We submitted a claim online and got an appointment with service provider which was the easiest appointment available on Thursday of the following week. The contractor was running late and called to let us know. The problem was fixed within a matter minutes and explained what the issue was and tested HVAC throughout the house to ensure everything was working.

We have been with AHS for 16 years now. In this last year has made us ask ourselves if we wanted to remain with them, due to the service companies they sent out to our home. The worst by far was attempting to reach someone on the phone to discuss the issues we were having. Before this we never had any issues we have been very happy with our service. I am not sure what happened, but I hope they get it worked out or we are going to leave. Sadly we have also have family and friends who are now on the plan then we have these issues. Not good.....

Wow, what an excruciating experience I have had with the what must be the WORST home warranty company available. First my sink backs up. Two days after our first call to them they send a contractor out to repair it. He dose not have the right tools so he contacts old republic and reports this. Two days later old republic sends a work order to a new company to have them respond. I speak with this new sub-contractor and they say they don't have the work order. I spend the remainder of my day calling between old republic and this sub contractor. I was told that it was considered an emergency work order and that a contractor should be out in 24 hours. Of course we are on day 4 and still I have a broken drain. I will spare the details but 8 days later I have finally had my drain unclogged. At the point of unclogging the plumber informs me that the clog has caused the pump to blow out on my dishwasher. So back to calling for a new work order! After just 2 days a and additional deductible paid an appliance repair company came out to confirm what the plumber had already told old republic-the moto is shot. Old republic then called me to tell me that they believe the dishwasher was improperly installed (IN THE NEW HOME I JUST PURCHASED A MONTH AGO) and they do not cover when something breaks because of improper installation. But wait, I purchased the "platinum" warranty that covers improper installation! Sounds good until they explained to me that they cover improper installation but they do not cover it if there was damage due to the improper installation or if something breaks because of improper installation. After speaking with a rep that explained this to me, I spoke with a supervisor who clearly came on the call with an agenda. His agenda was not to help me but to explain to me how he would not be covering my dishwasher. After getting nowhere with him, I asked to speak with his supervisor. He said he would have him call me however he wanted to prepare me for the fact that he would only be calling me to explain to me why they would not cover my claim. My final word is that you should NEVER purchase a home warranty from OLD REPUBLIC, if you purchased the platinum package you too have been fooled because it is just a way for them to get more $ and offer you ZERO COVERAGE for your home.

Customer serive representative who answered my phone wasn't very helpful and friendly. She sounded like the company is the only one in the world and she didn't care to find out what I needed for her help. I think the company needs to train their CSR better.
