We have had decent service on a few prior service requests for plumbing issues. Each incident took 2 house calls as parts were ordered for repairs. The repairs were timely and fixed within 4 days total. Our most recent was a washing machine repair since our front loading machine won't drain. We called in on May 3, 2016 and they sent someone out on the 5th. It is now May 23 and still have no washing machine. Completely disgusted with the level of service. Parts were ordered and took 1 1/2 weeks to come in. We were told parts were defective when they came back to finish the repair. So reordered again. Never heard of the repair business which was sent. Contracter seems completely incompetent. Ridiculous that we are still waiting for repair.

I submitted a service request online and received a responding phone call shortly thereafter. The contractor arrived later that day and resolved the problem in under an hour. The contractor personnel were neat, clean,knowledgable, friendly and efficient. This service was for a commode that had a leaking (spraying) valve and leaking flapper valve (I.e., to the basin). The repairs were completed approximately two weeks ago, and the problems appear solved. Resolution of a prior problem (approximately four weeks ago) also was promptly corrected and would receive the same ratings. The refrigerator ice maker was leaking water into the ice bin where it would freeze together with a group of ice cones. The contractor replaced the ice maker, cleaned up any residual mess, and was gone in less than an hour. Simply excellent service.

One year of AHS coverage was included when I recently purchased a home. Bottom line, after the year is up, I will not be renewing with AHS. Had problems with AC units, called AHS. Took over 30 minutes to get a person on the phone. They put in work order, followed up via recording 48 hours later to see if contractor had scheduled appt. They had not, so I called the dispatch center as directed. They advised me that they would call the contractor, and call me back to advise of schedule. Never got a call back. Contractor never called for appt. or showed up. Went without A/C for two weeks. Finally, called AHS and told them my issue (again took over 30 minutes to get a person on the phone). They put work order on emergency status, and got another A/C contractor to schedule an appt. for the next day. Contractor came fixed the problem, took less than an hour, and cost $60 service charge. Had another problem with my rangetop, Sears came out, said the range top was not converted to propane (which I already knew), refused to do the work, and demanded payment of the $60 service call fee for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Can't believe this company is still in business, and would not recommend purchasing home protection through them. Very disappointed!
