I am very unhappy with the home warranty thus far. I have had 3 issues and ended having to buy a new fridge myself due to no one coming out or returning my calls. My fridge broke twice, the first repair time frame was ok (2 days) but immediately broke again the next day. They did not return calls to me for two days, I kept having to call for status and always told they would look into it and call me back, but never did. Finally after 4 days and 2 full fridge's worth of food being spoiled and no hope of anyone returning a call or coming to repair it, we had to go buy a new fridge. Another issue was my AC broke. It took 6 days for someone to come out and same issue, me repeatedly calling to find out any answer. The AC repair company was amazing and fixed the issue but American Home Shield has terrible service with zero response or care. The third issue was my rood coverage, they know nothing about it and said I had no coverage but a 3rd party company kept calling me advising they were being contracted by American Home Shield. After my 4th call and pushing for a supervisor, they "found" my roof coverage. Indeed its with a 3rd party company and does not cover any preexisting issues. If a new issue is found it will not be covered until they come do an inspection and I pay for any repairs that are needed prior to the roof coverage being activated. I was not aware of this for 2 1/2 months of living at my home and only found out because the rood company sent me an email (which I thought was spam, luckily I checked into it to find it was real) That took another 3 weeks for them to come out for inspection. Truly disappointed
