Cinch Home Services
This is by far the worst home warranty plan I have ever had. My washing machine has been broken for over a month. My machine has been worked on five times. My last technician submitted a report stating that my machine was unrepairable. Now Cinch is claiming they don\'t have the report even though I have an email and text message confirming the report was submitted. DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY PLAN!- Brooke Williams Colorado

The response to my request was within a few hours. The technicians were prompt in scheduling an appointment. The first technician got sick, and that made it a several days before the repair was completed. He wasn\'t the one to do the work. The 2nd technician did a good job. Washer is working fine.

I made my request for a refrigerator repair online. The response was very quick and the tech that came to my house was polite and did his best to fix the issue. It took about 3 weeks, but that was not the tech\'s fault. The part was not in stock, so we had to wait for shipping.

Terrible company. Allow me to count the ways in which they are terrible. 1) Erroneous charges: they continue to attempt to bill us for services that were never rendered (side note: the services weren\'t rendered because their contractors never showed up as promised). 2) Customer service and communications with clients is broken -- answers to questions change depending on who you talk to in customer service. It seems they have outsourced their call center to people who are disconnected to what's actually happening on the ground. 3) They rarely hit their promised service windows and attempt to reschedule. 4) Poorly chosen contractors of low quality. The plumber they sent wasn't helpful at all; basically shared "tips" that you could Google on the internet. The oven repairman gave us wrong information that contradicted what the manufacturer recommended. 5) Not much is covered by this "warranty" at the end of the day. Save yourself the headache and hire your contractors directly.

Excellant service, very fast response every time I have called. All the contractors that they have sent have been professional and polite and have explained everything they have had to do to fix or replace my appliance to date. I have been a customer since 2003.

I have been with American Home Shield over 20 years and I am ready to cancel and go elswhere. On October 23rd my furnace blower motor went out. I was able to get Advanced Home & Commercial Services out the same day. I have no complaints about them. I still do not have heat. I had to go to Home Depot and buy 2 heaters at$140.00. I had to put a baseboard heater in my basement on full time to keep my floors warm and generate some heat to the main floor through the basement door. My home is 3600 square feet. I was told that AHS needed to get the part out of town and that now it will not arrive until maybe November 6th. So far this is 11 days without heat. The cost to run the basement heater and the heaters I purchased are going to run somewhere between 2-400$. It's very expensive to keep the baseboard electric heater in the basement running. It is now starting to get much colder and I will probably have to purchase more heaters. After over 20 years of service , I am ready to move on to another company unless I hear back from AHS.

Replaced water heater and a/c without any issues. Vendors were booked for a couple weeks so we were without AC for a couple weeks.

Prompt reply to service request. One company could not respond in a timely manner and another was assigned without any problem.

Generally, it was a good experience. We got our AHS policy as part of our home purchase. We had two items come up that required AHS claims in the year we had the policy. Each time there was a $75 service call fee. In once instance, that was about the cost of the repair on the open market. In the other, a water heater, AHS was extremely beneficial. The process was simple enough and the results very worthwhile.

We\'ve had AHS for 12+ years. Until very recently, service has been great. In the last month, we needed a repair to our washer (technician came out within a week - which I thought was a long wait - and fixed the problem quickly). Then our 25-year-old furnace went out. Technician came on Thursday, the day after we put in the request, looked at the furnace, said we'd need a new part, and that it would be next week before it would come in, if it was even available. It was not in until the following Tuesday, a week and a half later. He brought it out the day it arrived, opened the box, and it was the wrong part. Meanwhile, our house was 55 degrees because it is winter in Colorado. The technician said he would put a rush on the order. He checked back in a couple of days and AHS had not even placed the order yet!!! He actually went and found one on his own for us, as it was forecast to be single digits in the coming days. I would like to thank Greg from WeatherWise for his help - he and his company were great to work with. Too bad we had to go through AHS first. If we had waited for AHS to do their job we would still not have heat. In addition, every time we tried to call AHS we were on hold for a MINIMUM of an hour. We used to call, in years past, and get excellent service from AHS on the phone. Now that everything is computerized, which should really be more convenient, it is almost impossible to get a person on the phone. If we did not have aging appliances, we would definitely cancel AHS.

The last time I contacted AHS, I had a problem with my air conditioning unit. A service representative was dispatched quickly and repaired the unit in less time than I expected. There was very little disruption, and I had no mess to clean when the service rep. left.

We have been using American Home Shield for over a year. We liked the service so much that we expanded it in addition to the appliance coverage we initially had. This year we had plumbing and electrical issues and if we did not have the coverage, we would have paid a lot more to correct the problems. The contractors were great, on time, solved the issues and even went beyond the repair to insure the problem would not happen again.

My experience with AHS has all been positive; but, with the person that took my request and with the service people that repaired or replaced the affected areas. The repair men that were dispatched have been prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. I am a 100% disabled veteran and cannot do the worked that needed to be done. Signing up with AHS was one of the most important decisions that I made when I bought my home.
