Lowe’s Protection Plans
I am so thankful I took their extended warranty on Sears Elite refrigerator because the ice maker broke when it was still under warranty with Sears A&E Factory Service - they were horrible. Worse company ever to deal with over the phone. The service tech was ok but boy oh boy the phone service was horrible and ordering warranty parts. Started dealing with Customer Care Appliance Service that Lowes has here in Ca** Cor**, FL and the service tech was outstanding. It was worth the money.

Lowe’s Protection Plans
We have been Lowe\'s Customers for at least 20 years now and have purchased at least 4 new total appliance packages from them. We always have purchased the 5 year warranty on each item we bought. In June, 2022 our ice dispenser in our Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator stopped supplying ice. After much hassle with on the phone with the warranty call center, they finally scheduled a repair service. Upon their inspection, they stated the motor was frozen up and needed to be replaced with some additional pieces. They took the information and said they would order parts and call me when they came in for repair. After 3 1/2 weeks of no response, I called the repair person and left multiple messages as to what the status of my repair was. Since they could not be bothered to return my call, I called the warranty call center back and had to go through the entire scenario again, even though I had the claim number from the initial visit. They assured me it was going to be taken care of and my claim would be elevated that day and I would receive an email with the details in 1 or 2 business days. You guessed it, no response so after another 5 or 6 days, another call back to the warranty call center and of course a different agent. After again going through the entire scenario, he told me the parts are not available for my ice dispenser. That's when I asked him when my new refrigerator would be delivered with a working ice dispenser. Of course he told me my claim would be elevated and someone would be in touch with me. No contact after several days so I found an email address for Lowes/Assuron appliance department. I sent them a detailed letter with all the problems and details and included a supplier that actually had my parts in stock and ready to ship. A day or two later their response was "sorry for the problems" and my issue was "escalated" for the part. They also told me to contact the repair service to see what my repair status is. That's it for me and Lowe's and their products/warranty! Don't be lured into a comfort zone when they try to talk you into their appliance warranty package as it isn't worth a dime! Be Aware........

American Home Shield (AHS)
American Home Shield is not the company it once was. I have been without hot water since July 1 2021. I filed the claim on July 1. It is now July 29. At first they assigned a contractor who responded quickly and determined that my hot water heater needed replacing. Okay, my contract states that AHS will replace with a like item so I\'m thinking no problem, They will provide an 80 gallon heater to the vendor who will install. No problem. Couldn't be farther from the truth. The vendor heard nothing from AHS. I had to make numerous calls to determine that the issue was within AHS. One department not communicating with another. Long story short, multiple calls trying to coordinate on my own with AHS and the vendor brought no results. No less than three times I was promised a call back from AHS (one from a supposed customer service supervisor) and never heard back from AHS. To add to that AHS said that they don't carry 80 gallon water heaters so they would offer a "cash in lieu of" settlement. Finally received an email yesterday, July 28th stating that our choices were to have the contractor replace with a like item (already been down that road) or accept a cash in lieu off of $500. Well, $500 80 gallon water heaters do not exist. Not even close. So here I am almost a month later with a choice of taking a like item that does not exist or accepting an offer that won't even cover half the cost of the hot water heater, not to mention the cost of installment. This has been the worst customer experience ever! No follow up, no customer service, no resolution, and no hot water after a month of confusion on their part, issues within their own company, no communication between AHS and the vendor, and me trying to do THEIR job of getting this issue resolved. I cannot recommend American Home Shield in any way, shape or form. They do not honor their contract, they do not follow up, and they do not get issues resolved in anything that looks even remotely close to a timely manner. Save your self time and money and GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

American Home Shield (AHS)
Our A/C stopped blowing cold air. AHS immediately assigned an A/C company to fix the problem. I got a quick response from the A/C company, which sent a technician to fix the problem. The technician was courteous and professional. The problem was resolved promptly and my A/C is now working fine. I was very satisfied with AHS and the company they assigned to fix the problem

I have used AHS 3 times over the past 2 years and have been very pleased every time. To be honest, the professionalism and knowledge of each of the vendors was far better then I expected. I would call any of the 3 vendors back, to service problems even if I did not have a warranty. I will continue with AHS as long as they continue to use great vendors, because it is difinitely worth the money!

American Home Shield (AHS)
We have used American Home Shield (AHS) on several occasions. On each occasion, the contractor American Home Shield sent quickly fixed the problem. Each one was very professional and competent. Whether it has been the washer, dryer or garbage disposal, the repairs or replacement have met or exceeded my expectations. American Home Shield is a service we wouldn't do without!

American Home Shield (AHS)
We have had 3 separate companies come to our home since August. I did not personally meet the rep that fixed our dishwasher, but I did meet Nic Weth from Drips and Puddles as well as Justin Burgess from J&B Appliance repair. I would highly recommend both of these individuals for their assistance. They were professional, helpful and went above and beyond for us. I have worked with Drips and Puddles years ago and it was a horrible experience. This time around it could not have gone any better! I am also a local Realtor so I sell a lot of these warranty's. For a while I was nervous about referring AHS because of the reps that had helped a few years ago, but now I can see a change in the service and happy to know your standards are set high! Thank you!

American Home Shield talks a good game but they are not responsive to problems with their approved vendors. Should you have problems and disputes with their approved vendors, they will not help you at all!
