We have’d this insurance through two houses over the last eight years and are completely happy and satisfied with the coverage and their support. Even at the tine we had a minor discrepancy, they manage to come through and gave us what was needed at the time.

Central AC blows warm air , called the AHS and they promptly take action and assigned a local AC company and responded well on time. Recommended already AHS to my co-workers and friends.

My first review less then 6 months ago & first repair with AHS was 5 stars: Fast emergency response from the first call to the water line repair & water back on to the house, less than 12 hours!! My second review is 1 star because I could not give them a 0 rating. On hold, while the overseas call center figures out how to fix my "past due service call," which I paid before the first rep would submit my claim. The service fee used to be paid a few days after the repair is complete. Plus I'm sure it is not helping the situation that my water leak was repaired two days ago, May 27th but it was called in on May 7th. Thank goodness this was an expedited service call since the water to the whole house had to be shut off to stop the leak. I don't think I want to imagine what the new service call time frame is if three weeks is the expedited service. The worst part is that the leak is still there just reduced from when I called for service. Now it's going to take 14 days for AHS to process a special batch request form to get my payment applied to the actual service call number the work was completed under and remove my payment from the original service call number. During this 14 days waiting period, my account is past due and they can't submit any service calls. Even though the payment was paid and I'm trying to get the same leak fixed. The rep offered to make an exception & asked how I would like to pay for the service fee. I asked for a supervisor, which resulted in being told ok we will make it an add-on to the original service call. That would have been fine since it would get the leak fixed, but then she said one moment, and I heard the worst sound ever.. click & the call ended. Look elsewhere like I am going to have to do moving forward.

My ice maker suddenly stopped making ice over the weekend. I placed a claim via the AHS website and was pleasantly surprised. The process was user friendly and scheduling a technician was a breeze. The technician was prompt, professional and thorough. He said he’d have to order a new ice maker to be delivered to my home and would return the following Monday to install. I’ve been a homeowner for 14+ years. This is my first year purchasing a home warranty. AHS has, by far, met my expectations and then some. I see renewals in my future.

Don\'t run from AHS warranty service. Sprint away as fast as you can. The first problem is they use such inferior service companies I wouldn\'t send them to my enemy. After filing a service order, I found out the name of the HVAC company. Then checked their reviews. There were so many problems and added things that happened during the call that ran the bills up when nothing else was wrong previously. There were so many BBB complaints as well. I cancelled because I didn't want to be subjected to waiting several days and then have substandard service where their only goal is to rip you off. I called a reputable company locally and the call was only $60 instead of $75 but their reviews were glowing. Then when I tried to call AHS, every 30 seconds you have the recording, your call is important to us please continue to hold. I've been on hold over 20 minutes so far and heard the annoying announcement 40 times!!! AHS IS A BAD DEAL. WORSE THAN NO DEAL.

We live in Forida and our AC broke (it was reading 84+ inside our house despite being set to 75 and was running non-stop for 18 days) and we were told the internal temperature had to reach 105 for it to be considered an emergency for them to expedite the service call - completely unacceptable with a toddler and animals in the house. We made 4 calls to AHS, spending over 8 hours on the phone waiting for them to pick up. A contractor came out 4 times (over the course of 2 weeks, since it took so long to get appointments and AHS would not expedite our service calls) to "fix" our issue and yet our AC still doesn't work right. Nothing was done by AHS to better the situation and we're completely disappointed in the service we were provided. I wrote an email to AHS and still haven't heard anything back. I wouldn't recommend this service, especially if you spend more time on hold trying to make an appointment than a contractor spends out here trying to fix your issue. They need to work with better companies that can fix the problem in the first two visits (because I completely understand needing a follow up) rather than leaving us with making 4 appointments and still having an issue in the end.

We were having problems with air conditioner, it several visits by HVAC company before the problem was resolved. The HVAC Co. relied on me to identify the problem (since the problem was intermittent), they firstly repaired the Zone board and then on 2nd visit they decided that the their was too much coolant which possibly was causing the problem. Prior to the 3rd visit we were expecting temps around 110+ and the AHS Customer Service was able to expedite a service call (was very understanding). On the 3rd call HVAC service tech was able to identify that there was a bad capacitor (voltages were out of range), this took care of the problem and he did not try to sell me a service contract like previous service techs. The A/C has been working fine ever since, good this because we have had 35-days of 100 degrees or higher.

Very courteous and efficient with installation. It did take a lot of time due to calls he was getting from his wife to plan a family outing for the evening; however, he did try to discourage the calls. He cleaned most of the debris from the installation. He was very kind and insistent on getting the install correct.

Before 2015, I had some plumbing work, done twice, first the cost were approx. $400. and the second were approx. $600. and that left a bad taste in my mouth. In renewing my contract in January 2015, I explained to the young lady, my experience, all the money out pocket, and that I were thinking about not renewing. This young lady were so pleasant and she explain, that the company, had a new plan and there wouldn't be any out of the pocket money, other, than the visit fee. again she were very patient and assisted me with my selecting of coverage, a little more money, but, the plan fit my needs.

The customer service department for AHS does not exist. Took an extended contract for air conditioner season tuneup, they took my money, no service. Just the run around, the customer service department is no help. I have to write more emails, that go unanswered for my refund. I have cancelled the service and the regular monthy charge was still deducted, after being told it would not be. I have now put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for my refunds. I can't imagine what would have happened if this was an emergency.

I am currently on day 20 in central Florida with no A/C unit with temps in the low 90s already. This is the second time in 30 days that I've reported the same problem, and I'm so incredibly dissatisfied at this point that we will not be renewing. We've been with AHS for 5 years, and I can't WAIT to find a new warranty company. I have an old A/C unit, and for the past 5 years, they've sent someone out at least 3 times a year to fix the unit. Five previous technicians have recommended that I get a new unit, as mine is now 22 years old, but AHS refuses to acknowledge that the techs keep recommending a new a/c unit. This last time, the motor broke. It took 10 days to get approval from AHS to order the part, and now with it in, the service tech didn't even want to leave, because he said he knew he would just have to come back. HE wasn't even pleased with the work he was doing. He told me that AHS absolutely WILL NOT do anything about a unit unless no more band-aids can be put on the unit. He told me that he liked his job until it started contracting with AHS, and now he has more unhappy customers than happy ones. He even has his supervisor calling us in the morning to give us an independent quote for a new unit, as he practically guaranteed that he could tell AHS until he's blue in the face that we need a new unit, and they STILL will not do anything until the unit can no longer be fixed. TERRIBLE service. No communication about the parts. Any information we got we had to turn into THOSE customers in order to get. The supervisor at AHS, when told where I lived, googled the weather and told me it was "only 85 degrees" that day. Snarky and rude. When we asked to go above her head, we listened to hold music for 10 full minutes and then we were hung up on. NEVER AGAIN. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
