American Home Shield (AHS)
From start to finish, our latest service request was done professionally. Initially, our pool pump motor wasn't working so we contacted AHS. There were no local contractors on record in our area so AHS authorized us to choose a vendor to fix the motor. Byrd's Pool Service was here the next day to check out the problem. When their service technician (Steve) realized the motor couldn't be fixed, he called AHS with his findings. No problem! Steve was given authorization to replace the motor. When Steve started to remove the motor he saw that the pump housing was cracked so he called AHS again and got authorization to replace the pump housing as well. With Memorial Day weekend quickly approaching, Steve had the pool pump working again and AHS saved the day for a house full of family arriving from three different states. I had to pay Byrd's Pool Service for the repair but was quickly reimbursed by AHS in a timely manner. Cudos to AHS and Byrd's Pool Service for the last minute rescue.
