Great, fast service. Never had a problem. The only issue is the cost. We pay a monthly fee (which is not cheap) and still I have to pay $100. for each claim. Last time it ended up being a $2.99 part so I felt a bit cheated. I am told replacement items are comparable to the damaged item, but I find the replacements to be cheap and not meant to last long. I am considering cancelling the service because of the expense.

The technician from the company that came to repair our A/C unit, for some reason placed the outside fuse by the A/C unit upside down after replacing the capacitor. Then he claims that the compressor was locked, but when he got home few minutes before it was working just fine. The A/C was cooling okay at night, but not during a HOT day. Later he recommended replacing the compressor when actually it was and still working just "fine". The only thing needed was replacing the capacitor inside the outside A/C unit. I sure don't know if he wanted to charge the manufacturer of the A/C unit for a new compressor or to AHS!!! Anyways, our A/C is working just fine because I noticed that the fuse was placed backwards, I pull it and placed it in the correct way, and ever since our A/C is working just fine, without the need of a new compressor replacement.

Dishonest. Does not deliver contracted services. Hours to reach someone in customer support. Worst business experience

I have used AHS for the last 15 years. They have always been very responsive to my needs with quality service companies doing the necessary repairs.

I was a customer of AHS for almost a decade and last year I happened to need a number of service calls on various things. I have no complaints with the service or the technicians that were sent but to my surprise I was not renewed by AHS. When I called and asked why my policy had not been renewed (not even a call from AHS) they said I had a lot of service calls the prior year. I asked why I was not called and notified that my plan was not renewed and they had no answer. When I asked what it would cost to renew he said $120 a month (double the previous year). Point is they are great if you keep paying your premiums and they are making tons of money on you but they will screw you over the minute they feel the profit margin is not higher enough. They should rename themselves as AMERICAN RIP—-OFF!

Had to open repeated service requests to get AC repaired. Service provider was slow and did not communicate well at all and only had voice mail when calling them. Any calls to AHS for escalation resulted in waiting on hold for no less than 45 minutes to talk to an agent....several times over an hour on hold. Escalation at AHS was useless.....no one followed through on what they said they were going to do. AHS has been providing this service provider business for years in spite of their terrible reviews on Google which many also reference AHS as their mainstay.

We have had AHS for over 25 years with great success, however we now find it impossible to get customer service on the phone. We are having a problem with our recent claim and I have tried 3 times to call and speak to someone. The 1st call wait time before I hung up was 1 hour 23 minutes, 2nd 47 minutes, yesterday was 58 minutes. This is totally unsatisfactory customer support. Presently AHS's customer service is 1 Star quality.

AHS is incompetent and unprofessional. They misinform you and then make you pay for their mistakes. They are common criminals and only out to take your money.

The contractor's AHS has sent have been great, with the exception of Sears. The smaller, independent contractor's are always on time, don't change their time, and have been so good that I have used them for other home improvement projects.

I have been with AHS for over twenty years. Their service continues to decline while their prices continue to increase. I work, and waiting for 50 minutes on hold is NOT customer service!!! If "My call is important to them", why don't they have enough associates on hand to answer service calls? I don't have time to keep my business on hold for an hour while they decide if my $300 a year warrants a few minutes of their time. AHS is no longer the preeminent home service company. Now, they're just another company that has gotten too big to be of any service to their customers, even we very, very long-term ones.
