Lowe’s Protection Plans
I have discovered firsthand the warranty is a scam. Tech showed but didnt even touch the refrigerator to diagnose the issue. Ended up guessing what was wrong with, told me he would order a part, and would get back with me. A week later I texted the tech who now didnt know who I was and had no knowledge of me. Called Lowes Warranty who told me my service ticket is closed since the tech informed them that my refrigerator was already in pieces and warranty was void because of it. So the tech lied to me, lied to Lowes, got paid by Lowes and Lowes saved money by not spending more on service and parts. Took my issue all the way up to a supervisor, who pretty much said that how they do thing ... thanks N*****. So like other reviews stating the same practice of a tech coming to service yet they appear to have no knowledge... this is what is happening. This is Lowes trying to save money after the sale.

Had 3 different plumbing issues. All issues were diagnosed and resolved by expert plumber who had all parts in his work truck in 1 visit. Very appreciative of the next day service and no pressure or uncertainty of being upsold on services or work I didnt need. Was an excellent service overall.

TO: AHS Leadership RE: #40342207 Elderly Abusive February 9, 2021 I have been a member of AHS for about 10 years. My refrigerator began struggling to stay cool on December 1,2020. On December 10, 2021 ***** Service came out to repair it. The technician told me that he had to order a diffuser thermistor. I asked him “what if It just stops?” He said the diffuser thermistor was not connected to the refrigerator cooling, and it would continue to work until the diffuser thermistor was replaced in about 10 days. . On December 20th the refrigerator stopped running. I called the ***** service. They said I would have to contact AHS, but I would be charged the $75 service fee AGAIN. AHS refused to present me some solutions. We used the neighbor next door’s refrigerator. It was difficult. My husband is 80 and I at 75 cannot walk the best. Every time** I called AHS (check the record) I would try to EXPLAIN that the refrigerator was NOT WORKING. The representative would give me the “rote” speech that the PART WAS ON ORDER. NO ONE COULD COMPREHEND THAT THE ORDERED PART WOULD NOT MAKE THE REFRIGERTOR START UP AGAIN!!!! I explained my situation to them. They said I could have the repair man come out at look at it, but it would cost another $75 dollars. I keep repeating that it was not working. They assured me it would be in soon. In summary, AHS refused to listen to me when the refrigerator stopped running without attempting to charge me more service calls. On December 30, my son came to care for us. He recognized we were in danger of getting food poison from keeping food in a warm refrigerator. My son took us to ******** for me to purchase a refrigerator ($2,100). It was delivered to our home on December 31, 2020. On January 28, 49 days later the ***** called to say that the diffuser thermistor was in and they were ready to come replace. I attempted to explain that the refrigerator had stopped working. They said, it was not their fault and they would close the case !!!!! After reading this letter I expect some type of compensation/reimbursement for the horrible situation we as senior citizens were involved in. I have trusted AHS through the years. This situation is horrible. My son is very upset. I am trying to handle this. Please reply. Sincerely, Claire Lockman Boyce, PhD. Drlockman08@gmail.com. I have a contract that covers "improper installation" but they say my water heater was properly installed but the VENT was not and that DAMAGED the heater (it was not checked) so they refuse to honor the contract So, 1 the tech refused to check the water heater because was improperly installed: vent downward and on a pedestal without a pre-filter 2. AHS called and said the heater was damaged, how did they know? 3. AHS said the "improper installation" only covered the water heater and not the vent 4. AHS refused to honor the contract after 3 years coverage Isn't it a classic scam? why don't you have -1 stars?

I\'m with AHS for 10 years now. So far I like the absence of headaches if something broke. Everything is repeared fast and nicely. Don\'t expect miracles; nobody will come and replace your AC just because it\'s old, and you think you\'re smarter then everybody else. They\'ll try to fix it to the end. Still, when I\'ve decided that it\'s time to stop putting money into the old AC unit, I was able to save about $1200 plus I didn't pay for installation. There is a chance, that a repair company will send a bad specialist to your house, so rate the company, and ask AHS customers service send you somebody else. It works.

It has been a long while since I have needed AHS help, but when I did it was so great to know that I had prepared in advance for my emergency. It was a very cold Dec. 16th day when my furnace decided to "take a break". Of course, there was no way to get it repaired that day, but I got remarkable response from your company and it was only a short wait until the repairs were scheduled. Very soon my home was nice and warm again and the expensive problem was taken care of with only $65 coming out of my pocket.
