I had submitted a claim for repairs on my LG Dryer(keeps), and my Samsung Refrigerator (ice maker not working, and compressor not working properly, which is causing food to spoil, and is not cooling at the proper temperature). My claim was submitted on Aug 14, 2020. AHS had sent out Sanders Appliances Repair Service about one week later. He diagnosed the problems and submitted to AHS the parts needed to repair. Over these past weeks, have not heard from vendor, I did receive emails from AHS stating that parts has been ordered. I reached out to vendor, but no response for the last three weeks; his phone goes straight to voicemail, and it is full, so I cannot leave messages. Contacted AHS to inquire about status of when my appliances will be fixed, and stated that I cannot reach the vendor, and upon my research of said vendor; discovered that his reviews are negative, and subpar. His customers has stated that he does poor work, and does not respond back. I relayed this information to AHS, and asked them why would they send a vendor who has poor work quality out to their clients. I have been back and forth communicating with AHS on when they will be able to send another contractor out to repair my appliances, but they keep say that they have to reach the vendor first, but they have tried just as I have tried and they don’t get any response. It has been over a month and I still have not had my issues resolved. I have talked to AHS Customer Service at least 7 different times, but am still getting the same response with no resolution. They do not call back when promised. I have asked on numerous occasions to speak with someone of authority, but I get the same spiel; ie...we will send an email to Contract Relations Dept, but I, the customer still do not get any satisfactory response and results. At this point, I have been requesting to AHS Customer Service that AHS either send out a new qualified, and experienced technician, or purchase a new refrigerator, because the one I have and requested service on is not working properly at all now, and I am losing money from food spoilage. I feel that AHS does not put their customers first, but is quick to debit my account for their service call fee. I also feel that this company needs to be investigated due to the extremely poor reviews received by thousands of customers as to lack of quality service, shoddy and shady vendors, unethical behavior, and poor customer service.

Very Poor service. Washing Machine has been down a month. They tried to order parts, delaying repairs. Now more parts are pending. Trying to talk with a manager or corporate management is futile. For as much has they have spent on parts, they could have provided a new machine. NEVER again! Do not recommend this service.

AHS has been good to us for the most part. The only problem I have is using previous vendors that rendered services to us. We have to use the vendors on a first come first basis. We also have had problems with particular vendors and the time slots. For instance, no weekends and service windows, between the hours of 9-5. This is in many cases hard to accomplish because most of Americans work during those hours.

American Home Shield has been a great service for me. I\'m a single parent and home repairs are not my thing. As a single parent, my plate is full. I have a million and one things to worry about and take care of on a daily basis; so not having to stress about home repairs is a blessing. I feel very comfortable when service repair persons come to my home.

I have been with AHS for two years and have had two repairs completed. I have been very satisfied with the service that has been provided by the companies affiliated with AHS. In both cases the service provided promptly and the employees were extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend AHS to all homeowners.

As a rental property owner, having a quality home warranty is essential to the long life of the property and important for renter comfort. I have had AHS now over 4 years, and I can without a doubt say AHS is the singular home warranty company out there. The ease of logging an issue online or via phone is simple, contractor response is adequate and flexible to the on ground liaison, so far I have had several issues come up and all have been resolved. I even had a large appliance go out and replacing with AHS was so easy. Automation and simplicity is key, as long as AHS keeps these ideal in their strategic planning and vision, they will continue to be successful!

Old Republic Home Protection
Worst Home Warranty company I have used in 25+ years. Refused to replace non-functioning built in microwave with a replacement of same color and same size. I offered to pay the additional cost for an applicable replacement and they still refused. I was advised by the rep that the replacements and repairs almost 'never look good or match in color' and that my only option is to take their measly cash option and buy a replacement and then pay to have it installed myself. They have no mechanism to allow a consumer to speak with a supervisor to file a complaint. You can only file a compliant with customer service rep and will receive no follow-up or even notification that the complaint has been filed.
