Been very pleased with the program over all, I would recommend AHS, it has paid for it self time and time again. My only complaint would be the assigned contractors, some times have been very difficult to work with when it comes to our schedules. (This isn\'t all of them, and it does have something to do with us being rural and living in a smaller community) We have had to ask for a new contractor once. Have never had one willing to work after 5 or on a weekend, and have had to wait 3 or 4 days for parts. In the days of Amazon and next day delivery this is a sore subject with me. Which makes my only concern, what if my heat or water is lost Friday afternoon or on a holiday? But like I have said, it has been a good investment for over three years now, and the majority of the contractors have been great.

Last February my husband and I purchased a rental property for our son and his family to live in, it's kinda run down, built in the 50's and not updated at all. I'm a Realtor and knew about American Home Shield Warranties. My feedback from my clients had always been positive. We've had several claims this year: The range went out, it was the original 42" double oven range, they replaced it with the same range which was a $1400 value! This week they turned in a clogged bathroom sink, they fixed it. Hot water heater which was the original, they replaced it. Dryer, needs new tub, new knobs and a new drum, they fixed it. and the Dishwasher they think will be corrected with a new hot water heater. Needless to say we are strong believers in American Home Shield Warranties and pleased in the $435 purchase we made! I've always recommended them, now I can testify how great they work!
