Dryer stopped working technician was unable to fix AHS replaced my appliance with no problem. My only drawback is if you need to take the reimbursement option (as we did) the process takes weeks which is longer than it should in 2019 going into 2020

American Home Shield (AHS)
AHS is very prompt responding to trouble calls and has always sent professional service providers out to fix all of our problems. All it takes is two service calls and the premium is more than paid for. I would highly recommend AHS.

I always have a quick response and service. The contract cost is beginning to become excessive so I am not sure how long I will be able to continue with AHS. Other than cost I am very satisfied.

American Home Shield (AHS)
I called American Home Shield in the morning after having a repair company check my air conditioner; I forgot about having my AHS contract on the AC. I paid the first company the checkout charge and called AHS; within a very short time I got a call for the AHS contractor. I was ok with the timeliness of the initial visit. Once their diagnosis was done which was the same as my first contractor of which I had to pay for a diagnosis, they ordered the needed parts. The repair visit was also ok, however, the problem still existed after the first repair and they had to order more parts. When the repair was finally completed, the contractor waived my charge to them because it too a while to actually complete the repair. All in all, I was happy the repair was completed to my satisfaction and my A/C is working as it should.

Good luck! We had a pipe in our kitchen DISINTEGRATE this morning and were told that there is no need for an expedited service call because there's not an active leak. Mind you, I have a silver dollar sized hole in a pipe and no access to water to cook or wash dishes with, with a 2 year old in the house. The earliest we will have a service provider available to us is Tuesday. Ridiculous. And you'd better believe this will be on every possible review site I can find.

I had a HORRIBLE experience with AHS. I have a heat pump in my condo, so I understand that it's something out of the ordinary. I first noticed that cold air was blowing out of my vents in early November; called AHS and the next day someone was out. Thinking they fixed the problem, that wasn't the case. Long story short, I had to call AHS MULTIPLE times and each time I would get a different contractor out to look at it. I had one guy blame it on my thermostat (which it couldn't have been the problem). I even paid another company come and look at it, they advised me what it was. So I called AHS again, explained to them what needed to be fixed and they just wouldn't listen. So finally, my heat quit working on December 23rd. (By then I was in touch with my realtor and the AHS area rep). I texted the rep and told her that my heat is not working and I had company at my condo. She purchased a space heater for me until we could get the issue resolved. AHS FINALLY gave me the OK for me to call whatever company I wanted to come fix my heat pump. The following week (after Christmas was over), my choice company came back out and fixed my heat pump and AHS paid for EVERYTHING. It took a lot of phone calls, headaches and cold nights to finally get what I wanted. AHS is a good company as long as you use THEIR contractors, but will not listen to customers when we know what's wrong. I never renewed my contract with them and never will.
