We filed the claim online, we did end up calling every day to just check up on the progress of this ticket. Our AC broke on the the hottest week we have at. Down $535 for nothing. A contractor came this morning to check on ductwork and claimed that there was abnormal wear and tear therefore American Home Shield will not cover any repairs. We just moved into the house two weeks ago and we were told American Home Shield would have our backs. That wasn\'t the case today, looks like they look for any detail so that they won't have to cover the repair. Should have known better.

I was very disappointed in the services provided by AHS. I made several phone calls for different service requests and each call had some sort of issue. Multiple times it was explained to me that what my contract explicitly said was covered actually was not covered. A support specialist even told me the wrong contract was sent to me on one call. For one service call, I did not receive a follow-up call to schedule service for over 2 weeks. When I called AHS to question this, not only did I have to wait 15 minutes to talk to someone, the service specialist was rude and short. Regardless of the benefit, a warranty through AHS is not worth the frustration and disappointment I experienced so many times.
