I have been a customer for over 20 years and some of those years I did not even do a claim, however, as of late I’m very disappointed in service provided. I did a claim for washer and I had to pay $5 and change for the cheapest one being I am on a fixed income. Recently I submitted a claim for my cracked toilet which was denied due to my negligence. How can it be negligence when it is only used as intended? I get a renewal for my contract that went up $20. You used to be such a outstanding company. At the moment I am very unhappy with the service provided.

The time that it took from start to finish was almost 2 months. This was mainly due to waiting on parts, which ultimately weren\'t necessary because the appliance needed replaced. The repair and installation companies were awesome though.

Fantastic customer service and the knowledge of the tech was outstanding. The claims department representative was really good at her job and she covered everything that I needed before she let me go.

Cinch Home Services
So far, no bad issues. Technician seems knowledgeable and takes care of problems fast. Pleasant. My one problem is trying to get on to ***** site at beginning. After I finally get on then it is not so bad. It is those robo talkers that ask questions. A person could handle it in half the time.

Cinch Home Services
Used Cinch for the first time for a leaking valve in our shower. Technician acted like he didn\'t want to do much with it. He did change out the washers for the hot & cold, but later that afternoon it was leaking again, but not as bad. I thought it had stopped, but no, it was still leaking. I called to have someone come back out and I was charged an additional $100 for a problem that was supposedly fixed the day before. With their system, you can't tell anyone what the exact problem is or that the ill trained tech didn't do the job right. It's all animated. To cancel the second service call that I shouldn't have been charged for, I had to press '0' 15 times before I could talk to a representative from India. I was told it would take 10 business days to get my refund & I'm worried that won't happen and the rep was to give me a confirmation number for the refund request and he hung up before giving it to me & I was to get an email which never has come about the refund. I want to cancel, but everyone tells me this is the best warranty. Prove it to me. I'm frustrated that this company lacks professionalism, very difficult to resolve problems or speak to a rep who speaks English clearly. I have had American Home Shield before on a previous home & they were much better & the techs knew what they were doing & the problem fixed. The shower valve is still leaking & I guess I'll have to call a real plumber to fix it.

Had a concern about the operation of our furnace. AHS sent a HVAC technician who confirmed the proper operation of our furnace, so our home sale could proceed. The service was quick and efficient.

Not a very good experience as far as communicating with AHS. Tried to use 2 email links to take care of bill and neither one worked. Tried to contact company by phone and hung up on 3 times. Finally got though after contacting other dept and a 10 minute wait to speak to someone in customer service. Would have bee 3 stars but service providers provide excellent service. Not sure if would renew service contract as very pricey compared to other warrant providers and phone contact is suspect.

Called about our 220V dryer outlet not working. First electrician showed up didn\'t have an old enough breaker for our very old breaker box. He gave us a temp workaround so we could dry our clothes until a proper repair could be made. He said he was going to recommend service panel panel replacement to AHS. AHS sent out a 2nd electrician (which we expected due to nature of possible repair). They also recommended, and performed, Service Panel Replacement. Very satisfied with service provided through AHS and by the electricians that came out.

I\'ve had AHS for a year and have had to call them 12+ times to fix the SAME problems. Each time I am on hold 2-4 hours. I\'ve had to pay the premium and the $75 fee 6x this year. It would have been mre affordable for me to replace the items I needed fixed than to have them as a home warranty company.

I have had AHS for years. They start off grate but I think they have gotten to big for their employee base. Their online service is fast but if you have to call them you are on hold for at least an hour and then when you finally get someone on the phone they usually can\'t help you much. I had a kitchen faucet replaced and they initially took my high end faucet with multi function and gave me a basic faucet I'd expect in a bathroom. After working with 3 agents at AHS I finally got the company to come back out and replace it with something "similar" to what I had. The next week my AC compressor blows up. Turns out the same plumbing company does AC so of course AHS uses them again in spite of my request for a different company. Two weeks later after AHS had to ship a new compressor because the company didn't have one in stock I got my AC fixed for my 125 deductible plus 450 I had to pay in advance for coolant but still haven't received an invoice yet. Not worth calling AHS again to wait on hold to be told there is nothing they can do because they don't send out records directly.

I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate this company. We've been using them for 6 years (because we don't have access to a lot of other options). Every year for the past six years, our air conditioner has leaked freon. Every year, for the past six years, we've paid over $200 + $75 call out fee to fill the freon because the A/C will continue working through the summer at the pace that it leaks. (They only cover $10/pound for freon because it's a gas, not a component.) We've also had problems with many of the companies they contract with: coming after the agreed upon appointment time, waiting until the end of 3 days (that's their contract time) before calling to set up an appointment - then not fitting us in for another few days, flooding our basement, rude service (because we have to use them-so why bother being nice), doing the bare minimum to band-aid the problem instead of fixing it, charging significantly more than competitors to fix things not covered under AHS contract (charging $60/pound freon instead of $52/pound like competitors), etc. It's not just the air conditioning. We've had the same problems with plumbers too. If you can use another company, I recommend you seriously consider it.

It has been a while since we have had a repair or even needed one. I recall the last one was the failure of the inside part of ourair conditioner. My husband contacted you and almost immediatelywe were given a contractor name and phone number; again aftter contacting the company someone was here to do the work. two men showed up who were clean, respectable looking gentlemen who began their work with a know how attitude. the work was somewhat lengthy and upon their departure the area of their work was clean and neat. This has been the result of almost every person responding to ur need through yoour company.
