AS usual, a very nice and competent serviceman showed. He asked what needed fixing. He went straight to work and had my TV and electrical outlets working fine. Recently I had my AC/Heating checked. Also, a very good electrician found the wiring was installed incorrectly - almost 10 years ago. He rewired the heat pump and now my heat is working correctly and my home is much warmer. I am so happy that I have these warranties. It makes my life less stressful knowing that I have very capable people that can come and fix almost anything in my home. And, it does not cost a huge fee

Old Republic Home Protection
Overall I have had a pretty good experience with Old Republic. They have replaced my a/c and furnace, as well as covered some plumbing problems. In each instance, parts of the work were not covered and I had to pay out of pocket, but the bulk was covered. This seems to be pretty standard practice in the industry. I definitely got my money back out of the policy, so much that they wouldn't let me renew for another year. My only other issue was that they have very few vendors in the area and repair/service often takes a LONG time. However, they did give me the option to hire my own person and reimburse me (which I didn't do). Customer service reps were always friendly and they were really good about calling to let me know the status of my work order and to follow up to make sure the work was satisfactory.
