American Home Shield (AHS)
The Plumber was very professional and diagnosed the issue in a timely manner. However, we are still waiting on AHS to give the company permission to repair the master bathroom leaking issue.

The technician arrived on time, was professional, knew how to determine the source of the problem, and found and repaired it. The technician was very sensitive to the needs of my daughter who had to remain in the room.

While the CSR who called me was very courteous, I am not at all happy with the ending results. We noticed a problem with a gas odor 12/21 on our GE Profile Gas Range and called our utility company who informed us it was not the line but the stove. It took two days to receive a return phone call from AHS and the technician came to my home on Christmas Eve. He was unable to repair the range and said I would be called by AHS with options. My options were a repair (no cost for me but a wait on parts)or an allowance on a replacement range (nearly $200 out of pocket which did not include installation). Why would I have to pay anything out of pocket other than the $75 service call? Sounds like a scam to me? I opted for the FREE repair. It's 12/30/15 and I just learned that Sears will be coming to my home some time between 8-5 an entire week from today 1/6/16 for the repair. That is an unacceptable delay in the repair AND I am slightly ticked off that my entire day at work stands to be interrupted by a service call that could take place in a nine hour period? This is my first time with AHS and I am NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL. Are other warranty programs WORSE... that this company would be number one? Wow

We have carried American Home-shield on our home for 4 years. The first two years were wonderful. We would call and a service person would come out within 24 hours. Over the last 2 years, the deductible has increased by $20 and the service has decreased. Between my in-law's service with AHS and our's, the time it takes to have a repair man come to the home is well after 48 hours. And once they are there, the service is never complete. The same AC issue took 5 months to finally receive a company that actually fixed the problem. Before that, they had 6 different companies that "fixed the problem" and each time the problem was "fixed", it lasted no more than a week before they had to send someone back out for the same issues. The quality of the companies that we have delt with are the reason we no longer carry AHS. Don't waste your time or money with AHS.

Too many items they find an excuse for "not covered". I am going to look for another company.

Ac went out about a year ago. They sent a guy out to repair it. He fixed it for a week. It then went out again. They sent the same guy and by the time it was winter so we had no need for our ac and was under the understanding it was fixed. Sure enough next summer it broke. We were without our ac for 3 more weeks. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
