This company is horrible! I have duplicate policies on a property that I sold in April 2022. I am still being charged for a fictitious policy for the same address on a monthly basis. I have tried numerous times to resolve this issue. No supervisory authorities will speak to me and my checking account is being tapped each month for a non-existent policy. I'm not a fan obviously.

I had 2 service requests. The request for the garbage disposal(G*********** P*******) was resolved. The technician was prompt, courteous & very professional. I was very pleased. Still waiting to hear from the other service request. I left 2 messages.

American Homeshield did a great job arranging for two technicians to come out to the house to fix the ice maker and the A/C. I have only been with American Homeshield for a few months. The service techs that showed up were great. They did their job professionally. They came prepared. They were able to take care of the matter in a timely manner.

The repair to my dryer was taken care of by the Technician timely. After careful analysis of the dryer needs, he placed the order for the parts which were delivered in my house. So, the next day he came to my house he immediately replaced the parts that were broken in not even 30 minutes. Our dryer is working now without worries. The Technician was courteous, polite and did a very good job. The needed assistance came timely. Thank you for the good service.

plumber that came only did half the work. had to get them to come out a second time and still didn\'t fix the problem. I end up losing two days of work and had to call my handyman to finally fix the problem. it costed me time, parts, and labor. I should had just used what I paid for a deductible and called him first. people you send out need to be screen better.

Been a customer for at least 8 years. Despite a rate increase in both annual premiums and deductible, I\'d once have given them 5 stars for everything. Recently I\'ve had two unpleasant experiences. In 1st case, the company they contracted with was terrible. After showing up late several times, their tech finally replaced my thermostat with a piece of junk. Because it was winter and I needed heat, I signed off on the job, but when I told AHS, they said it was my loss since I had signed & I had to replace the thermostat. Today, I was told my water heater problem doesn't meet their criteria. Because I'm honest, I now have to pay for the problem on my own.

Weekend plumbing problem (never fails) and the water heater was dead. American Home Shield located a contractor but they were unable to service us until Monday. After a brief conversation with my wife (HAHAHA) I called back to AHS and was given approval to use another contractor on the approved list if they were available prior to Monday. We were able to work with Keefe Plumbing here in Chattanooga and we could not have been more pleased with the service we received. Thanks AHS and thanks Keefe Plumbing for making my family happy again.

The electrician sent for my problem with my electric kitchen range was both prompt and thorough. They had to return once with the part, and so they actually came twice. And I was pleased with their promptness.

We've had several problems with our home. First the washing machine didn't work. Service tech came out for that, eventually got it fixed. Then, the dishwasher wasn't working, scheduled it, then that got rescheduled the MORNING of the appointment for over a week later (2+ weeks without a dishwasher doesn't make this mom happy), tech came out, determined it was a problem with the disposal and couldn't fix it. In this day and age that a dishwasher tech can't touch a disposal is ridiculous. How many houses have both- the majority. Decided to call my own plumber rather than wait another 3+ days to get someone else out. We still had to pay the service fee even though they didn't DO anything. Now one of our showers has a leak from a pipe in the wall, set up an appointment for between 1-6 today. It's 5:50 and I haven't heard a word from the plumber about showing up. Thankfully I work from home most days so I didn't have to take time off work to be here, but what if I wasn't in that position? I'd have lost a 1/2 day of work. Every time I contact customer service it takes 20+ minutes just to get someone on the phone. Not acceptable from a SERVICE company. I'm glad this was a gift and not something we paid for because they aren't worth the money. We will not be renewing at the end of our contract. For us, this policy has just been a huge waste of time and money.
