I just transferred to AHS from ***** ******** Home Warranty which was really, really an awful experience. I had a plumbing issue and read about the reviews which were very negative and held my breath as I waited for the problem to be fixed. * ******* plumbing called within a day and came out within the next two days to fix the issue. They cut holes in the walls which needed drywall, so I called AHS and they assigned me to a contractor which called the next day and came out on New Years Eve to repair. AHS said that I didnt have to pay another $100 because it was a continuation of the same problem. I was impressed because I wasnt double charged like my other warranty tried to do and all of this occurred during the holidays along with a pandemic and was speedily repaired. I guess everyones experience with the company is different. This was my 1st call, so I hope this stellar service continues.

I was on the verge of cancelling the contract with AHS (I\'ve been a customer with them since 2007) due to the bad customer service and unresponsiveness I received on several occasions. I reached out to the Executive Office and one of the representatives, Barbie, did an outstanding job of getting my issues resolved. It shouldn\'t have taken a member of the Exec Office to step in when AHS employees should be fully trained and knowledgeable on how to handle customer inquiries. Overall, I haven't had any major issues prior to these most recent ones so I will remain a customer of AHS.

The tech were always on time and calls ahead which is great since a few times I was also on the way home. The operators taking the calls are very nice and pleasant and were very understanding as I ended up having 2 issues instead of one. They did hang in there with me until it was taken care of even though they had to send two different techs. I like that they didn't give up on it. Thank you.

We've only been a customer for about a month and needed service to our dryer. First vendor referred never contacted and voicemail was full; second vendor would only schedule service based on "traffic" conditions. Contacted customer service, waited on hold 30 minutes before an answer..asked to speak to a supervisor and was given a "floor" supervisor; requested an actual supervisor and waited on hold for another 30-40 minutes. Supervisor was the most helpful and assisted with explaining barriers and use of contractors, gave us a credit towards another service call, which was appreciated. However, we have yet to get our dryer replaced (decided to replace after contractor fixed the thermostat and blower but needed to order multiple parts). I've actually been on hold for 30 minutes waiting for customer service while writing this review. Repair service was given 3 stars because the eventual contractor was very responsive and informative (AHS could learn from Mr. Appliance). We were told that a supervisor needed to approve a replacement for our dryer and it would be done within 24 hours..not true. This is the reason for my calling and being on hold for more than an hour this morning. Not pleased so far with AHS' level of customer service. Advertising as the #1 home warranty service should be complemented with excellent and responsive customer service. I finally received a customer service rep (during this review) and was told a supervisor wasn't available and we needed to complete a form in order to consult with one. I asked for retention services and, as I'm writing this review, continue to hold for that department. In order to avoid having readers wait as I am doing, I will end this review.
